It's just a scam, it promoted that it can detect a location by number but when you subscribe they ask you for unattainable thing like installing app on the device you want to track, or sending pishing links to them.

The app works on charging people a monthly subscription without a notice after a trial.
I just got a message that money has been deducted from my account without an email or notification from them. When I investigated I found out it's them, the irony is they sent me offers and discounts just a few hours after they deducted my money without consent:)

After long negotiations they offered me a refund of 10% as per the attached picture

I did not verify my email nor set up an account with this so called company. (They say they cannot find me on their system)! Thats because I did NOT give authorisation to charge my card any monies nor did I proceed with any "free trial"! After I put my card details in I read the small print and seen what they charge! SCAM!SCAM! SCAM! I emailed them immediately NOT to lift any money from my bank. They have taken £32.43 within 3 days. I have reported this to the fraud team at my bank as a scam and waiting to hear back from my bank. I will go see a solicitor if need be and report this to the police if they don't refund me 😡😡

Continuing my previous review, they kept offering a 10% refund which was refused. I demanded at least 80%. They then started offering to refund 20%, 30%, and 50% for which I wasn't satisfied. And finally reluctantly settled for a 70% refund to which Scannero agreed. They said that the payment was released on 10th March and it would take 5 to 10 working days to arrive. I waited for 14 working days and as there was nothing I inquired again. I also asked for proof of payment which they didn't seem to have. 20 days have passed and I still haven't got my refund. I even said that an international bank transfer would have some proof and they have been silent since. They are utter and total scammers. Keep away from them.

Do not use this app/site. They hiding additional charge for 40eu, you see that too late and cant cancel. Cheaters

Busted my teen thanks to Scannero! They were claiming to be at a dentist appointment, but Scannero showed their location at the mall. Not cool! I want to trust him, but at the same time, you want to make sure they are safe and where they say they'll be. Love tracking location feature.

Pure scam! Just now I wanted to locate a phone. I Googled and found this spam site, everything looked promising.

First, they asked me to enter a phone number, which, I did. It showed the country and service provider of the SIM correctly. However, the city was blurred and asked me to create an account and pay for trial use for 1 day, which I did.

After login, I didn't have the option to find the phone location and it was asking me to write a message that they would deliver.

They are scammers as I found there are similar websites and they all use the same script with different brand name and designs.

Note: They may say the target user must provide the location, or their tool won't work. This is where the scam starts. Yes, as soon as you land on their site, they ask you to enter the phone number, and once you enter, their tool will deceive you as if it found the phone number at a certain location while hiding the exact city. It is to make you feel that you are just a step away from getting the info you want. Once you register and pay the money, that nice-looking map-like tracker is nowhere to be seen and now it is a different tool.

STAY AWAY!

Do not use this app! Total scam! It makes you sign up for a 24 hour membership for $.89 and then locks you on a page which charges you $49. And I never even used the service. The customer support number is in another country and my cell phone can't even connect to it. I sent them an email explaining my issue and have not received and answer, but they charged me $49.89 for a service I couldn't use. SCAMero

Needed to track my sister who went missing, signed up for this in a panic I with a small charge $1.47, I didn't work so i cancelled within minutes of signing up and then days later I get a $61.42 charge! I email them and they tell me I cancelled 'late' and they won't refund! What an absolute scam I am fuming!

This is a scam! I'm absolutely disgusted! My ex is abusive so I had to move houses. I decided to use scannero and put my number in to see if there is a possible way he can find my location
I paid $1- and then it said to continue seeing the actual location to pay $75. Which I didn't go ahead with
I received an email saying each month $75 will be taken out my account if I don't unsubscribe. So I tried to login with the details they gave me. Would not let me login! I contacted the number they gave me. And a random man answered and said "you have been scammed I'm sorry"! I can't believe this! Do I go to the police about this?! What can I do?

Give wrong advertisement for single day trial and deduct the amount for month without customer consent. SHAMEFUL

I accessed this on the trial and tried logging into the account but it said my email was not recognised.
I emailed them repeatedly from the email I used trying to cancel the subscription so I didn't get charged and they replied the next day after I had been charged.
I emailed demanding a refund with screenshots of the emails I had sent and they refused to refund me.
This is clearly a scam, do not use this service.

This site is located in Cyprus run by Aviwell Ltd and yet another scam alleged by Grace Lauder & Vanessa Clinton. It doesn't work, there is no free trail, you are subscribed and money taken from your account immediately, at $75 Australian per month and Grace will not stop it or refund your money. The only way to unsubscribe, even if you didn't subscribe is delete your bank account immediately, period, sorry. We had to do that.

They're scammers of the first order, sitting behind the wall of internet to hide their true colours. If you commit a simple mistake of giving your card details to them, they'll simply milk it whether or not they provide any service.
I signed-up for a trial, but my account was not created. When I tried to unsubscribe, they told me you don't have an account with Scannero. However, within less than 24-hours they deducted 50$ from my card.
But they're very professional in scamming, they'll duly send you a receipt of the money they've milked from your card ;)

When I lost my phone in a shopping mart i purchased this app for $1.and given the number.app didnt locate the phone...Next day the scanero.io team debitted 1 month subsciption from my credit card account. That was around Rs 5000 indian money. Without offering any service. I have serveral discussion with customer sopport team. Without offering any service, without informing me they set up and e-mandate on my credit card account.Beware of this cheater company...They save credit card info and cheat you.,.and the app didnt work for me when i used first day

I signed up. I wasn't even signed up for 2 hours and I canceled it, I paid the $199. I unchecked the boxes that were automatically checked for auto renewal. 2 hours and they took $48 off my credit card and now I'm fighting to try and get it back you're supposed to have a one-day trial that's 24 hours not even 2 hours in and they were taking money off my card horrible! Unauthorized! Horrible company! It a money grab, they did nothing for me, there thief's they're just a bunch of thieves and of course they're hiding behind emails. There cowards and thiefs. Do not sign up! I uploaded a photo of my statement and you can see within a minute they were taking money off my credit card they didn't even give me 24 hours of a free trial within a minute! This site is b******* I'd like to get a hold of the little weasel that didn't give me my trial. And build me immediately for a service that's fake. $#*!ty people work there!

I signed up for a '24hr trial' and had an auto generated ticked box sign me on for another month charging me over 720% of the trial. Would not refund me my money after multiple emails asking to refund my money.
