Wish I could rate a ZERO. After numerous phone calls concerning the volume for my television which started a few months after purchase, well within the warranty period; Samsung now tells me it is out of warranty. They didn't correct the problem when it first started and would not authorize a service call when it was within the warranty period and now as they planned the warranty period is expired and use that excuse not to fix it. We have numerous Samsung products, but will NEVER purchase another one.

I'm a sucker. I kept getting lured into the Samsung brand by its stunning good looks and unbeatable price. I purchased a Blu-Ray player, a two flat screens, and a high model $3,000 french door fridge. Every since one of these products has had issues, and Samsung confirmed that they've received individual complaints from me for each of these products. Against my recommendation not to buy, a friend purchased a fridge because of its sexy looks, and complained of issues, not more than 9 months after purchasing it. I am incredibly disappointed.

Here's a summary of issues:

BluRay Player - discs would not read, constant error - sent to customer service facility on east coast, they said they could not reproduce the issue and sent it back unrepaired
60" LED TV - control board died and screen refused to turn on, two techs came in to replace board and TV started working again; sold it immediately after
42" LED TV - backlight flickers and dims, need to turn maximum backlight brightness to view
French Door Refridgerator - compressor stall issue, would not keep freezer compartment (which is the bottom drawer on this model) cold; contents melted with water all over my kitchen floor. Made funny sounds the day before it crapped out. Was out of the warranty period, but Samsung noted my complaints on all previous items I've purchased, and offered to send tech out to fix, FOC.

Samsung Galaxy S5 - terrible and unresponsive UI. Owned it for 2 weeks then exchanged it for the most recent iPhone at the time (iPhone 6).

Galaxy on5...
May 28, 2017

Ok so I've had this phone since January. And every month something new happens with it. This is probably the worst phone I've ever used i wouldn't recommend this hunk of junk to my worst enemy. You can't type ( this here has takin 10 minutes). This phone doesn't call out when connected to Wi-Fi. And many MANY more. So if you want a phone that treats you like your ex did get the galaxy on5.

We purchased a Samsung dishwasher (recommended by salesman... big mistake) 2 years ago. Did a much worse job cleaning dishes then my old cheap model of 25 years. After approximately 18 months the pump drain went and had other issues. It was going to a cost close to $400 for the repair. We found out that Samsung had many issues with this new model and immediately discontinued the model. After many calls and never a return call, Samsung took no responsibility. Since this dishwasher did such a terrible job cleaning dishes, we decided it was not worth the $$$ for the repair and we threw the unit out and took a $600+ loss.

For all the wrong reasons, we decided to purchase another Samsung product 6 months ago.

We purchased a Samsung washing machine. 2 months after we purchased the wash machine, there was a recall and Samsung was either going to replace the machine, or give credit towards a new unit. Since they were giving $100+ more if you purchased a Samsung instead of a competitive model, we again made the wrong decision by going with Samsung. After a long wait for our check to arrive, we we were shorted $137 short (of course we had to shell out the money first) of the amount. After many more phone calls and no return phone calls when promised, should we just give up and take the loss!

BTW, we are having other issues with the replacement Samsung wash machine!

Please do yourself a favor and don't buy anything Samsung... buy USA!

Our Samsung dishwasher was the worst purchase we ever made. We replaced all of our appliances three years ago and within months, the dishwasher needed to be repaired. It was repaired two additional times. The last time was in February, By April it didn't work again. We were told the repair only had a 30 day warranty! What a rip off! Worst customer service and dishwasher! Don't buy Samsung products!

I purchased the new Samsung S8 and unfortunately dropped it the first day and the back case shattered like it is made of glass. My suggestion to you is to be very careful with this phone and do not drop it. It is very slippery and where I bought it they did not have cases for it. Get a case first. It also crashed when Android started a new update. Since we can't take the battery out there was no way to turn it off. I tried everything the techs were telling me to try.

My mom used Samsung Washing machine which turned out to be a decent product. Taking this trust ahead, my family purchased more products from Samsung, like their AC and mobile phones.

They turned out to be the worst products that we have ever used. Service is just pathetic. A big no to Samsung products.

May 12, 2017

I ordered a product. It never came.it took a month for me to finally call for the 5th time to be told its still in a pending stage... I talk to representatives they try to get me off the phone by saying someone will respond when they get more in. I finally talked to a guy BRENDON badge #*******. Do they even have badge numbers. I canceled my order. He never gave me any info. I asked him is this even Samsung... it sounds like these people are emotionless, effortless,

I bought a samsung fridge on 8/15 and within less the 1 year the door handle broke and when we complained they said just for a lose spring we will have to change the whole front door for which we will have to bear the cost of 6000+ Rs. Ridiculous. Now the vegetable drawer front has just popped out, broken and I don't feel like call them even as I know I will have to pay a few thousands to replace that tray which might again break soon. What kind of product are u selling? Something that cost ******* Rs just starts falling apart within 2 years? I rate this product very bad. We were loyal customer of samsung but I don't think we will ever buy any Samsung product anymore as they don't make them as good. Bad customer service also. Khatija vahanvaty. *******2585.

This is your CUSTOMER SERVICE, PLEASE RETURN TO YOUR COUNTRY AND TAKE YOUR PRODUCTS WITH YOU AS THIS IS NOT WHAT AMERICAN EXPECT PAY FORTO SAMSUNG

The worst customer service department EVER! I bought their vacuum very similar to a Dyson, less expensive though. Appears to offer a great warranty. After a year a part broke, called in, they took the serial number from me and said they'd send out the new part. Seemed so easy. Two weeks later no part. Called them to find out they had the wrong serial number and no order was ever processed. No communication to the customer. I had to call. Corrected the serial number and got the part. I thought ok a mistake can happen but petty poor that they never let me know until I called. Recently the main carpet sweeper cracked at a plastic joint. Called in, the man said we have to send you the whole sweeper floor part it's not repairable. Gave me a ticket number and said it would be sent out 3-14 days. Two weeks later no part, called back in. Told to wait 14 business days, weekends not included. Called back when no part STILL, to find out it was NEVER shipped and MAY be on back order. Asked for a manager who put me on hold to tell me coincidentally they just got 4 of those parts in that day (amazing) and I would be getting one immediately. Got a new ticket number and told to check UPS tracking in a few days. Five days later no tracking information. Called Samsung to find out THEY NO LONGER MAKE THE PART! At that time was transferred to customer relations and told I would have to SEND IN THE BROKEN PART TO GET EVALUATED TO SEE IF IT COULD BE FIXED. Seriously, I just said FU and hung up. Buying a new vacuum and NEVER DEALING WITH THIS $#*! COMPANY AGAIN.
