The store in Gilbert AZ absolutely will NOT answer the phone/s‼
I spent over 35 minutes calling the store in Gilbert and Chandler AZ. I finally called the corporate office and that took at least 5 minutes to talk to a live person! The corporate office could only get the tire department to answer the phone. About 5 minutes later someone answered the phone so I asked to speak to the store manager. They refused to let me speak to the manager! I'm going in to see about getting a refund on our membership! And I was in a fantasy mood before trying to ask a single question. No wonder most of the reviews suck for this company and now I see why Sam's Clubs are closing and CostCo can't build stores fast enough. Sorry Sam's Club you're digging your own grave‼

Terribly slow checkout and store exit process

Ive shopped at Sam's Club for decades. I've noticed for a long time now that their self checkout payment processing is slow and doesn't even work most of the time. I don't have a problem with self checkout but with the payment issues one person is never enough to fix the problem so you can try again. Long lines and ridiculous wait times are the result. This is so basic! Then their exit process with the scan guns is terrible too. Their big competitor executes all the above without issues. Why can't you Sam's Club?

Odered for the 1st time. Delivery tracker said 7min checked again a few min later and my order was returned for no reason! Im sitting here waiting on them. No one ever answers the phone at the tri county store. Had to call the 800 number to have them call the store. Wait on hold for 20min then transferred to the tri county store for them to say they don't know why my order was returned... Wow smh. Worst first experience very disappointed Sam's do better...

Watered meat

You can't even brown the meat because of all the water that cooks out going to shop elsewhere dump water 3 time from chicken and pork

No medium milk bones, no cases of fish for my fish fry, none at Walmart bought at King Saver.
Talked with several employees asking g for help they were rude and uncaring. No hushpuppies no coffee out. Hope Cosco comes to Joplin.

UN-HAPPY CUSTOMER

The location in Wilmington, NC is starting to be a bit RIDICULOUS, a few weeks ago I called and the answering machine prompts you to mash the button for the department you want & then a person finally comes on and says that the meat department does'nt have a phone, and today I call and try to get the bakery & no one ansewers and then an associate puts me on holds for 13 minutes before she comes back and tells me to hold on AGAIN and hangs up the phone on me. In this length of time she could have walked to the bakery and had someone come to the phone. When I called back after about a number of rings the manager Shawn picks up and says he had just come in. THIS IS RIDICULOUS SERVICE & makes no kind of since. ONE ANGRY CUSTOMER!

$15.00 membership!

I just saw a Sam's Club special in Memphis...$15.00 for a year membership. Well heck, it's been at least 5 years since I've been in Sam's so I'm giving it a whirl.
Not much has changed, same layout, very large crowd, literally, and a nasty store. Very few employees on the floor helping customers, no cell phones in the display area, and lots of goods sitting on pallets in the store aisle.
I grabbed a couple of items and went to the checkout area. Lines, lines, and more lines. Looks like Walmart, with 10 self-checkout lines and 4 manned checkouts. Even worse, folks lining up down the aisles with baskets full. At that point, I said what's the point?! We left our stuff, hopped in the car, and went to Costco. Sorry, Sambo, it's not worth the hassle. No wonder Sam's is offering a $15 membership, they have to pay us to come in the store.

Best visit I ever had

I went to Sam's club in myrtle Beach today and I went to the customer service desk and a very sweet lady by the name Barbara made my visit the best visit I ever had. I went to see if she can find a receipt for a fridge me and my sister bought last year she could not find it but as soon as I thanked her and walked away she didn't give up looking for it. She finally found it and went looking for me throughout the store so she can give it to me. She deserves a permotion and a raise. Thank you Barbara for making my experience one o can remember.

I leave bad reviews only when needed. The cinnamon bottle used to be full! Almost not fitting. Now is just not smaller but also is not full. Places like sams should pay attention to quality.

Terrible refund experience. We ordered a TV from Sam's online and were expecting it to get delivered in the window provided. We waited and it never came and we never received any notification, no email, no call, no text. I checked the tracking number provided and got told that it was returned even though the status in the Sam's app/website still says on its way (16 days later).
We called the (888) number and were told an egift card would be issued in 24-48 hours, we received an email summarizing the 40-min discussion with the agent/supervisor.
Three days later, nothing. We called again, same run around. We waited nothing.
That happened 2 more times.
I just called today and I still have not received a refund nor the product and am still getting the run around.
I am writing this as I am staring at a 39min ongoing call, the last 10 mins on hold waiting on a supervisor while listening to the message "The system cannot give you a wait time as no agents are online."

Seriously Sam's! Get it together.

Scheduling for tires bad.

Could hardly understand the guy helping me, they lost my first appointment, didn't have my phone number, but said they'd call me, call had bad reception, couldn't send me a confirmation email, I'm sure the people scheduling are out of the country, what should have taken a few minutes took 15

Auto battery warranty is no good

Purchased a car battery in 2021 nearly 2 years to the day it quite working. Had a free replacement warranty for 3 years. Quess what, they test it and he said it needed a charge (Of course it did it would not hold a charge hence the car went dead). It would take 1 1/2 hours to charge it then they would evaluate and maybe give me a replacement battery and found out later it would not be the similar quality of battery. So don't think you have a warranty because you don't.

I went to Sam's Club in Denton, Texas off University on Saturday Sept 16th@ 7:10AM to pickup a curbside order. This lady name (HORTENSIA
Or HONORATAS) forgive me the name might be misspelled. At any rate her attitude was TERRIBLE. She was shoving the items in my trunk. I'm looking like what is your problem then she said that I needed to get some items and help put them in my car. If she would have asked me politely I would have gladly assisted but she demanded. So I'm already surprised because it's 7:10AM in the morning a beautiful day and this is her attitude. The pure rudeness, negative vibe, negative energy, I was shocked.
So I ask her are you not having a good day? She just looked at me and walked off. So I said it again to make sure she heard me, she turned to me looked at me and walked off.
I walked to the door where they bring the items out and asked for a supervisor or someone over the curbside delivery orders. Needless to say there was not one available at that time. I did call and leave a message for someone in that department to call me. I personally believe that customer service is key and if you are working for a company - you are representing that company and the lady I had to deal with needs to go through some type of customer service training. Or better yet if she does not like her job go find something else to do.

Cashier started coughing not wearing mask & really slow at scanning items. If workers have Covid they shouldn't be at work. Need to work on speed when scanning items. Also I got Lysol disinfectant spray store has it online & a label showing $12.98. I was charged $15.98 store was closed couldn't go back inside to be refunded. Almost forgot Lays chips have a hole in bag from when they cut open box it was shipped in. When I got home chips spilled all over back seat of my car. I'm so irritated w/ this store now I have to make an extra trip back for refund. Gas is to expensive I'm very upset.

Meat Disappointment.c

Purchased a package of Center Cut Pork Chops. Very disappointed out of 8 chops 3 of them were bad. Two were so thin, and the other was tick with a lot of grizzle and fat. It was like purchasing a package of assorted. I talked to some friends that had the same problem, it was like Sam,s Club is now deceiving their customers with false packaging. I don't know if all Sam's locations are doing the same, but the Mansfield Tx store I will definitely think twice before I buy meat there. It's a shame because I have always purchased my meat there.

Terrible customer service/order fufilment

I wish I could give a Zero! On 9/3 /23 I ordered a dog bed for my dog who has a leg injury, it's now the 13th and still NO package but my other 2 orders were delivered, I got an email at 8am yesterday saying attempting delivery and not able to deliver which I a LIE! They Only just shipped out today and only charged my card this morning! I have tried canceling it and was told I couldn't as it was longer than 30minutes, I sat on hold for over 20 minutes yesterday for no management to pick up to resolve this! Bottom line is they never filled the order and only caught this after I've caused a stir, this is NOT the first incident like this! I Will NOT be renewing my membership! Worst shopping ever!
