Ever since the pandemic started, my wife lost her job directly due to pandemic situation. Due to this situation and her industry still has not opened up, I began to pay down my Sam's Club credit card so if we needed funds for backup to buy groceries, I would have it available. After making much progress paying much more than minimum, Sam's Club credit decided to lower my limit so all my progress was for nothing. I made a complaint and all they said was apply for a credit line increase, knowing it would not work, I did so. A very pleasant customer service person called me and said they could not increase my limit back to where it was. During these times, I feel this is unacceptable for a company that states they have the community interest in mind. I have never been late with a payment in the 10 years I had this account. Nothing I can do but spread the message.

Online ordering

Do not order online on Thursday's and Friday's, it's impossible to get in touch with their customer service and it takes at least 3 business days to get an update. My last order 1/2 was shipped out within the 3 business days and the other 1/2 is still in a "shipping" status.
It's amazing that they are still doing "online" ordering because their competitors have the product's already "delivered" in the 3 business days it takes to pack and ship theirs.

Poor refund service
March 19, 2021

Called to cancel my membership because they withdrew $100 from my account for membership fee that was $45 in the past. They told me I had to go to nearest store which is 50 miles away or accept a $100 walmart card. They withdrew from my debit/credit card but will not refund to it.

I went in and they previously talked me into a plus membership at the pharmacy, this time they filled it with a brand 4 times higher than the rx said it'd be online, they said it automatically uses more expensive one... wow. I had them change it but the female pharmacist at the Manchester mo was rude and so was the old woman who was at register, I'm talking extremely rude, like she she could you repeat that you just rattled it off very quick about my phone number, wow.

Michael seen me getting ready to pick up a case of water and came over to help me at the Greenville, SC Sam's Club. This is the 2nd time I have received help with a Sam's worker walking by and helping me with the case of water without being ask. Great Service

We have used Sam's Club for our business for YEARS, I have never really had an issue with them, mostly when there is an issue, it is because they are understaffed and cannot handle the influx of people that come in at once.
Their online service is easy and convenient, just select a pick-up time and your good to go, this system beats the instore pick up by leaps and bounds, before the curbside pick up you had to try and find a kiosk... sometimes then a manager. Then just go to the customer service desk... it was a fiasco.
Getting fuel and in-store purchase is pretty easy also, no big deal.

Surprised and impressed
February 7, 2021

Was directed by a busy employee to the customer service desk where I only had to wait for a minute, maybe less. When I voiced my complaint of leaving my cart momentarily so I could get an item I had forgotten and some lousy individual took my Prilosec out of it so when I got home, said item was missing - I didn't notice until this morning - would it be possible to be compensated the $22+ it cost. 'No problem,' the lovely lady behind the counter said. I walked out of the store several minutes later with a new package and no loss, that having been absorbed by the south Springfield Sam's Club. It was an overall good experience and I'm very grateful. I won't be leaving my cart unattended again.

Sam's Club needs to take more responsibility for their store credit card (the Sam's Club Mastercard). The shenanigans and poor customer service regarding these cards are an open secret. We find ourselves having to call the Synchrony's customer service line several times each year, and earlier this week I was treated to a round of inappropriate condescension, gaslighting, and nonsensical answers. The more minor frustrations with their card include a website that's frequently down and/or login info that simply stops working. If you're not using autopay to make payments, you will find making online payments difficult. Also, just a heads up: they took over a month to set up autopay on our account, so be careful not to miss a payment while that's pending. These things can affect your rewards payout. And yes, most people suspect these shenanigans are on purpose. The bigger issue is their "security verifications." Expect your card to be randomly declined 1-2 times each year. The security checks are both arbitrary and useless. On one hand, you can spend hundreds of dollars while on vacation in another state with no issue, only to have them perform a security check for a really minor purchase (e.g. $30) at a grocery store you frequently visit. Customer Service isn't privy as to why these checks take place, and they can't explain why one of our cards will work just fine at the store, but the other spouse's is declined (and vice versa). This has happened several times over the years, and yet they missed major fraud flags when a card WAS compromised, not the least of which were transactions somehow transpiring in two different states at the same time. My favorite part of yesterday's phone call, though, was being told that customers should be thankful Synchrony and Sam's are extending credit to them. I wish I were joking. And yes, I nearly snorted out my coffee. Imagine putting Sam's Club and Synchrony on par with the microfinance programs that help low-income individuals in developing nations. And there you have it, folks. Excuse me while I have a seizure from the eye-rolling...

You don't deserve ANY stars! I was STUPID enough to buy a membership at the beginning of COVID-19. I bought it, so I could order supply's online, as my Dr. thought I had COVID-19. I NEVER received my card, even though I was promised during the first 13 calls I made. Then I have up on that, and called to get my money back, as the closest SAMSis over an hour away, and ANY COMPANY WHO WOULD USE A CRISIS TO STEAL FROM PEOPLE IS NO PLACE I WOULD SHOP ANYWAY! I have every call, including the one on December 28th, when I was PROMISED my money would be back in my bank by January 4th. They are LIARS AND THIEVES! I WIL NEVER SHOP AT EVEN A WALMART AGAIN. I PLAN TO SUE!

Your cinnabons in your store is a C average because it taste like it has been added lemon in the bread & frosting. I don't think that's how it is supposed to taste like. NEEDS improvement!

When I write an honest feedback they remove it so buyers can't see. For instance, I saw that they brought out frozen bagels with the date marked as fresh and current. Shouldn't buyers know if they freeze their bagels or not? I would think that if they have a bakery that those items would be fresh as the date is marked that way. Also wrote about their lemons and how it isn't consistent and there is no juice and it is dry. They removed that also.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

TERRIBLE SERVICE: Ordered Christmas cards from Sams Photo Nov. After 1 week received an email, sorry about your order, have 25 free prints. Nothing more. Status online said order received. Finally called Sams. They said order not processed will resorder. After a while they said, can not reorder. Did not offer refund... Asked for a refund, said unable to issue a refund. Will send gift card. THATS CRAP, Order mot process, did not inform me, customer said problems can not reorder. Can Not Refund to Credit Card... WHAT A BRUNCH OF CUSTOMER SERVICE CRAP. Another reason to drop my Sam Membership! Now have to order from COSTCO..

Sofa delivery
December 5, 2020

I ordered a set of sofas from sams! I got a message from them saying that my order had shipped, FragilePak also sent email saying that they received shipment and they would deliver sofas soon! I got a survey from sams asking how I liked my sofas lol, no delivery ever came. I have called their customer service several times and no one has any answers, my card was charged and no one is helping me. Kicker is that the tracking number they sent to me is invalid at least that's what they tell me,! Left in limbo, hard to believe that they can be this awful! Never will buy anything from them again. Trying to cancel order but the agent hung up on me!

I am a Business customer
For the past 12 years I am using Sam's club at 2575 Gulf to Bay Blvd, Clearwater Fl *******
Today I have been Harassed and Mistreated at this club by couple of employees (Roan and Dough)
And when I asked to speak with a manager
Manager Scott came and instead of resolving the issue he makes it worth,
He laughed as if he don't care and when I explain that I have been Harassed and mistreated by his employees, the employees started yelling at me and him in front of all the customers in the club (3 on one),
He wasn't able to take control over the situation
Never again

I purchased a Kid Kraft playset online with Sam's Club for my grandchildren. After ordering it I sent the information to her, she measured her backyard and told me it will not fit, it is to large. I've been trying to cancel the order now for over a week after reaching out to them the very next day to let them know that I had to cancel. At this time, 8 days later, I continue to hear we can't contact the vendor to cancel the shipment. I've made 4 phone calls, they ask for 72 hrs. Each time you talk to them and still resolution. I will NEVER buy from them again, especially something this large since they have no customer service, this should have been complete when I made the first phone call.

Inventory

I do not agree with sam's club inventory names. People do not know what are they buying just because sam's club chooses to name the product everything but what the product is. When people look for the product on their receipts they can get confused because a tomato source can be called a candy bar, just an example. It will be good if they name their product either the name of the company or what the product is itself. If is a box of mango, say mango box, not monkey noodle. That can save customers' time. Also hire people with customer service, not by color or race.

Terrible Pre-order

Terrible experience pre-ordering a system. As a non member, they charged $50 for a 'handling fee'. That premium price resulted in the delivery being delayed two weeks out from any other retailer. At this point, they had guaranteed shipment by the release date, and they are now back tracking that as well. My order status has not changed at all in 2 months and everything they say is a lie to cover face. Even went as far as to blame COVID when they are the only retailer experiencing anything close to these issues. Once they realized that wouldn't go over well, they changed their stance to carrier issues. Reality sounds like they over sold their allotment or completely screwed up their distribution. They won't even let you cancel the order or upgrade shipping. No apologies, just blatant disinformation.

Members Mark Toilet Paper

Last week I purchased Pom toilet paper because there was no Members Mark available. Pom is horrible! Claims to be 2-ply but is so thin it tears easily and also doesn't follow the serration. Irritating. I immediately gave to a charity the remaining 44 rolls and a week later MM was in stock so I purchased its 45 role package. Low and behold, MM is almost as bad as Pom now. I still had some paper in the house that was from the last MM package, and what a difference! Same pricing, but much less satisfactory paper. NOT RIGHT! At least not that method. Price hadn't changed. Very disappointed in this instance.

Poor coved standards

Worst sams club I have been in since coved

Shopping carts not cleaned nor were there proper supplies to clean yourself
Several customers who were not wearing masks.
Mgmt did nothing to announce need to wear masks
All of these things they say they do so well on website. WRONG
I did not even complete my shopping after seeing so many without masks
I WILL NOT GO TO THEM AGAIN

System Failure
October 30, 2020

Purchased an order for 69.40 and was charged for my complete order on my credit card. Then after 3 weeks of waiting on the 2nd half of my order I received a 2nd charge for 24.40 and they claim I was only charged a split payment. Now I'm in debt with my bank for 93.80 because they claim i never was charged the amount. Even after I called my bank and verified the charges and sent them screen shots of my charges on my bank statements. Needless to say, I will not be doing any future business with sams club online services!
