I have shopped with Sam's Beauty over 6 years. The problem with this company is their delivery practices. If you read the fine lines... once the merchandise leaves their warehouse they are no longer responsible. I had to track, locate, file claims a couple of times. I decided, I will no longer wonder if I will or will not receive a package from this company. I spent the last three hours trying to locate a package that was said to be delivered. Samsbeauty rendered no assistance in finding out who received my package. I will take the lost now, but I will no longer purchase anything from this company.
I ordered on 3/23. SB had ups to send a 3/29 delivery. No product. On 3/29 ups said it's in Illinois. You cant reach anyone. SB sucks.
I would give 0 stars but can't. They couldn't send my merchandise bc they said my address was wrong when it wasn't and to resend it they wanted another 13 dollars for shipping. I said no I'd just rather have a refund bc its been a month already. Bre on the phone (which obviously isn't her real name) said she couldn't give me my whole refund back. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said one wasn't available, I asked to have the supervisor reach out to me and noone ever called. They are keeping people's money or sending them bad product. Do Not Buy from them. They will rip you off!
I order from Sam's all the time never had any major issues until my recent order. I placed an order on their website on 3/17. I expected it to ship out by Friday, maybe Saturday at the latest. They usually have a good turn-around time. Well, I reached out to them Monday when I saw the status had not changed. I was advised by them it can take 1-4 business days well it has been 5 business days and 7 regular days! I am not sure why it is taking so long but I am not happy about it and now I feel I would need to pay more for shipping just to receive it. It will probably be 2 weeks or more before I receive my order. I have never had to wait this long
It's sad I am a minimum wage worker and sam's beauty has completely did me wrong I will never give them another penny of my money I am ordering from glamourtress from now on. I order my items on March 3 2021 and it's March 12th and I have not heard anything or seen my tracking be updated am done and so is sam's beauty. Never ever ever ever ever again I work too hard for my money.
I was scared I got scammed because i thought they gave me a fake tracking number and when I read reviews from another website they all had the same problem that acceptance was pending for awhile but they emailed me back and told me to wait two days and it came in exactly two days and they look great will probably order from them again and shipping took 9 days not the best but still great buys!
Bought over $100 of poor quality wigs that were completely damaged, soaked and some wig packages were opened and tampered with. I immediately contacted their customer service but the phone was disconnected for a few days. When I FINALLY got through, the rude, argumentative representative provided no resolution. I contacted the carrier and opened a case who closed the case in my favor and contacted SamsBeauty to resolve the matter but they declined to respond. Needless to say after 2 MONTHS of back and forth my credit card company credited me the full refund after getting nowhere with Sams, but I will NEVERRRRR do business with them ever again.
I ordered 10 items from samsbeauty. Six bundles, a wig, and some hair accessories. I put my order in on Saturday and my items shipped on Monday. They arrived at my door today which is Wednesday. I used regular standard shipping so I was surprised they arrived so fast. I do recommend using pay pal when you order from this site though because my account had random neiman marcus orders a few hours after ordering from samsbeauty. My bank resolved it quickly though. Apparently scammers frequently hack samsbeauty to get credit card info so use pay pal only. I was a little scared after I ordered because didn't see they had such awful reviews until after I had ordered but I'm glad I had a great experience with them I will be ordering again but pay pal only this time.
I ordered my 2 wigs on sale for $15 each with a total of $32 with free sign up shipping. 5 days later sams beuaty sent me an email saying that my order has been shipped, which just means that it at at their local usps going to ship off to my local usps. My tracking number came the next day so i tracked my package untill it came 2 days later, 8 day from the day that i placed my order. The wigs were nice and soft and natural looking. They just have good shipping policy, THANKS SAM
I only shop with Sams they're my go to for hair care. But this just took me for a loop. This as is policy. But then you got the 110% guarantee. NOT! So I got this wig for new years. So upset cause it got here just in time but it smelled so bad. OMG like real bad so I washed it as directed thanking ok. So it dries but it doesn't go back to the original look its a hot mess. In not a hair dresser so imagine my frustration. This wig is a hot mess and I have no do for the new year. Then to get rude customer service and a email response of an oh well nature. I was a little scared to order from here after seeing so many bad reviews but I did anyways and I'm very happy I did. The prices are great and my order came in 5 days. Will be ordering again. Thank you!
Would not recommend! Tried to blame post office for me not getting my package when in reality sams beauty didn't send the package to their post office
A lot of complaints but I have none. So far everything I ordered has come quick and like wigs look like pic. Only complaint I would have is my fav wig now don't come in the lighter shades. And I can't find the first one I liked best. But other than that I haven't had to contact customer support or return nothing. Been ordering 2 years and spent about 1000 and I don't buy any wig over 70 bucks. So lots of orders!
Josephine, a representative who consistently picked up the phone EVERY time I called customer service to get feedback was the most condescending person I have ever dealt with. Since I was a first time customer, I decided to spend my money elsewhere--even if it meant paying more money for the same product. I had to call back TWICE for a simple sale. A waste of time.
Don't get me wrong they have a nice covered up sweet professionalism over the phone, nice sounding, but for the actual service portion, they do NOTHING for the customer. I ordered a product that after 2 weeks, still did not arrive (when on the website the shipping policy says delivery within 2-7 business days). I called to have them ship me a new package since I really needed my hair. They said no, the only option I had was to order a new package. I was frustrated but said ok, I thought instead I might wait and hopefully it would come soon.
Then I decided I'd called back again a few days later after calling USPS twice and leaving my local post office with no luck. I was convinced they could at least be able to expedite the shipping for me for free if I paid for another package (since at this point it has been 14 business days and 18 total days since I ordered the package). They again said no to expediting the shipping (which wouldn't really even be expediting the shipping being that I have already been waiting for so long). Finally, I filed a claim, then cancelled my order completely once I lost hope and realized my package was lost. They assured me over the phone I would receive a full refund. At that point, I had already ordered from another company AND that package had already arrived. 4 days later, now 21 total days after my order, my package arrives.
I notify them and ask for my full refund that I am owed and how I should go about returning the package to them. They tell me I will not receive a full refund but have to pay a 10% restocking fee + the cost for shipping!
They did NOTHING, offered nothing to service their customer, and just blamed USPS and said it lied in my hands that I did not receive the package. Ridiculous! Horrible service!
I was a bit skeptical about ordering from Sams Beauty because of this site and people reporting that they lost A LOT of coin because they trusted this site. However, I gave Sams Beauty the benefit of the doubt and ordered 6 products on 9/20 and received them today which was really early. At first I thought I would be missing an item because the other reviews but all my items were there. If you choose to purchase be prepared to either be satisfied or unsatisfied. There's some people like me who get their products while others lose money. I love my items so far though. Thanks and Good Luck!
I placed an order and about an hour later I decided I wanted to change the color of the product I ordered. I contacted customer service but did not receive a reply until hours later. By that time, they told me that the order had been sent to their warehouse and it was too late to make a change to it. I asked if I could do an exchange once I received the product but was informed that I would have to pay for the shipping again and I could be subject to a restocking fee even if the package was unopened. When I received my order I was not happy about either product. I tried to go to the website to leave a review but every time I tried to submit the review, I received an error message. I hope it's just a glitch on the website and not intentional. Customers should be able to leave reviews for products so that the next person knows all of the pros and cons.
I ordered a wig a month ago and have not received anything, the phone numbers are out of service and no one has responded to email DO NOT TRUST! SCAMMERS! THIEVES!
I did not receive the merchandise I ordered. I emailed customer service, no response. The 800 number just made a buzzing sound when I called, now there's a recording that say "the number is out of service". They send out new email almost everyday so DO NOT place an order. I'm going to try and get my money back through my bank, not sure if I can it's been almost 3 months since I placed my order.
Terrible! First of all it took nearly three weeks to receive my order and I am not complaining as we are in an unprecedented situation. On that it took nearly two weeks to receive a refund on an item that was UNOPENED!
So on a $60.00 UNOPENED, UNTOUCHED item I received $23.00 back. I could immediately tell the color was wrong so box was sent back right away. While I understand there are restocking fees, to deduct more than half on an untouched box is a rip off. Will not be back and will tell anyone who will listen to steer clear of this place.
