Extremely inconvenient for customers! The one on North Ave. They have appointments for wig install but u can't make an appointment until you have purchased the wig. They didn't have another appointment for 35mins and I couldn't book because I didn't have the wig in hand. Mind you they accept wigs from their store and outside wigs. Stupid policy and extremely inconvenient! DAN the manager then comes back and says oh she is taking her lunch so now you're going to have to wait an hour for her to do your wig install when originally is was 3:35pm for the next appointment and I came back up to the register for 3:20pm. So here is an employee who takes her lunch whenever they don't have it on schedule. They need to fire him and promote Diana because she knows how to talk to customers and how to make it work.

Stay away from this website! I've ordered black color and they sent me blond ombre wigs and refused to return or exchange! Now im stuck with blond wigs which i cant wear! Absolutely insane! This is literally robbery!

Sams is reselling returned damaged units from other customers. Delivery took longer than others once I opened the box, I knew something was wrong. It was halfway out of the net my first thought, Has this unit already been returned from someone else? I called immediately when I tell you Those durty gutta snipes are a nasty piece of work no customer service skills
No one wanted to answer my questions screaming over me. So, I sent a request to return it back they only reply through email. I was advised I would have to pay to return something that they sent me that looked used. So, I called again Alexis if that is even her name, she is the main gutta snipe so rude and nasty for no reason her name maybe Yasmine she lied. I asked for a supervisor She said your speaking to them asked for higher authority she said it gets no higher. Also advising me I would not be getting my money back for a unit that I assumed is defective even with large split ends covering the entire unit someone returned. She stated Na, we don't give refunds. I was told I would have to pay for shipping also a restock fee. Never again the best way to hurt a business Don't spend your money with them!

This company should be shut down. Worst customer service ever, and they will make you jump through hoops for a "verification process" if you use a card to pay instead of paypal. I have never experienced this at literally any other online "business" before in my life. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

DONT USE THIS SITE

They never refunded my money for an order that I returned nor did they respond to emails regarding my order after initially approving the return. However UPS tracking says they signed and received my return. I am out of $400 and have nothing to show for it. I would strongly advise NOT using their site, unless you have money to burn.

Yasmine was the individual I spoke with and she talked over me the entire time. The warehouse lost my order and wanted to penalize me for them screwing up on their end and not once took accountability, instead Yasmine was rude. She told me that me that situation doesn't matter. She told me that she doesn't have a supervisor, she doesn't have a manager and she is the only person that customers can communicate and work with. Such a nasty individual who lack common sense and doesn't give a damn about customers; the ones who's keeping their business up and running.

Return request Denied

I recently had to return a wig because the wig was defective there was no way to tighten the wig on my head, I filled out their return request form, the reply I received regarding my return was denied reason give was that I had tried the wig on. I had to try it on with a wig cap. I will never order anything from SamB. Thanks

Dishonesty

Bad Bundles
September 14, 2023

I visited the Sams Beauty warehouse located in Melrose Park Illinois on Saturday 09/09/2023. I wanted to install some hair extensions and I was encouraged to purchase Human Virgin hair Bundles by Starlet. However when I approached the service desk I was told the Green Pack Bundles was a better grade (13A) so I purchased this instead for $187 dollars. The next day I had the hair professionally installed. Two days later, I noticed major shedding/thinning. I'm a Registered Nurse which requires me to pass medication, serve food to high risk patients and work alongside other healthcare professionals. Throughout my shift I noticed hair everywhere on the unit. At the nurses station, medication room and Patients room. I was so embarrassed. I had to literally tuck the hair under my jacket to prevent hair from flying everywhere. I could not wait to end my shift. The next morning, I shampooed the hair thinking maybe this would help but It didn't. After the hair was completely air dried, it was even more flat and stringy. With no volume whatsoever. I instantly removed the hair to have it returned to the store. I was eventually met with more disappointment after talking to the morning manager. Unfortunately, he could only offer me a 20% discount which amounted to $36 but only if I purchased 3 more bundles of hair. Let me remind you, I had already spent $187 for the hair and $180 to have it installed. And now I needed to spend an additional $150 to replace the bad batch of hair I received. My argument was that I should receive an exchange of equal value but this fell on deaf ears. Why would I exchange hair I paid $187 for a $36 discount towards more hair. I felt the insult. I was furious almost in tears. I'm almost convinced the so called hair I purchased is not even real human virgin hair. If feels more closer to animal hair or fiber hairs than human hair. If you notice in the picture you can see specs of gray/reddish strings mixed with black strings. I spent almost $400 for a specific hair style which failed only due to the low quality hair I purchased at a very high price. As a Black woman this whole experience was an eye opener for me. Stop patronizing and spending my hard earned money with store owners who does not value me or appreciate my business. And focus more on my natural hair. This manager could not relate to me nor did he care how I, the customer was feeling inside. I felt ripped off with a bruised pride. How fair is it that they get to walk away no repercussions for selling bad hair and I have nothing. So ladies please beware.

After the post office losing an order i placed with Sams Beauty i disputed the charged and was issued a refund by PayPal. I tried to go back an order another item a month later and received an email saying my account has been banned because i disputed and order and was issued a refund. What was i supposed to do? Just let them keep my money and get no merchandise? I was a customer for years that had plenty successful orders in the past. Not a good way to treat loyal customers! I happily shop with Wigtypes now!

Suzanne told me that I could return hair if it wasn't open I brought the hair in June of 2023 she never said I had a certain a amount of time to return it. I came in to the store today Aug 22nd to exchange it and buy more stuff the guy Fabian said it was ok then while shopping Suzanne comes up and say no it's been two mouth and I informed her that she never said a date I took my merchandise back. I feel that this is very very unprofessional why tell me I can return it and now saying I can't. I don't even want a refund am buying more stuff. DON'T SHOP HERE IF YOU MAKE SURE YOU ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES...

The manager sucks.

They gave her a title and she ran with it. She's not willing to work with people she has the attitude. Will she don't want the company to make money? I see tons of people that I used to know order from this company and tell me. They'd rather take they money elsewhere just like. I'm gonna do maybe she doesn't understand there have websites all over the place that sells hair. But if you want this company to go down in flames keep the management that you have this is over. A order that would not be shipped back out to me because she felt that it wasn't necessary. This was caused by the company but yet instead she thought she was gonna. Make me pay for it another thought coming refund my money

Bad customer service

Return policy super bad, do not stand behind return policy. I would not purchase from this website. Buyer beware, if it's issues with you wigs. You going be giving the run around, after that take fees for restocking item, that all you doing is placing back on the shelf.

Did Not Send My Product but Kept the Funds

I made a purchase on January 19,2023. I never received an order confirmation email nor a tracking number for this purchase. On February 2, I called and spoke to Yasmine. She stated the order was marked delivered on January 24th. I work from home and I am at home all day to receive any package. I reviewed my home cameras and no packaged from UPS was delivered to me or any of my neighbors on January 24th. I relayed that I was never sent an email highlighting my purchase or any shipping information and that I only receive an email from pay pal for the charge for the purchase. I relayed this to the company and was told that it is not their problem by Yasmine.

I got the SENSATIONNEL wigs with an extra 20% off the price! And here is another recommendation for hair. 'The stylist' unit is AMAZING! I love the quality of hair and they are affordable. Im gonna visit their offline store for sure!

I use to order from them all the time. Until I got no correspondence about my order after multiple attempts. Then when I get PayPal involved Sam's Beauty got passed off and said I can no longer order from them due to a charge off!? What charge off but that was just an excuse to try to black ball me. I never thought in a million years Sam's Beauty would react like that but they did. And I definitely don't recommend them at all!

The worst customer service

I had a horrible experience with this company. I ordered a closure with 2 bundles only to receive 3 closures. I returned the incorrect items back to them and had to wait two weeks before they could tell me they didn't have what I ordered in stock. They wouldn't even accommodate my inconvenience due to their mistake. I will not be ordering anything else from them. Ever!

Loss Package
October 20, 2022

Hair pieces were ordered on 10/6/2022. On 10/20/2022 I sent Sams Beauty an email requesting status. I was told to check with USPS; once the product is shipped and it gets loss it is on the customer not the company. The customer must track down the package and if it is deemed to be loss they will refund or give you a credit. Customer beware! Do not purchase ANYTHING from this company.
