I ordered a saber months ago and still haven't recieved it. I recieved an email about 6 weeks ago saying 5 to 15 business days but obviously that was a lie. They got no problem taking your money but cant deliver their product in a timely manner and then they dont even care enough about their customers to update them when they ask. Ultrasabers and electrum sabers are light years ahead of them in customer service and the speed of delivery. If I could give them 0 stars I would because they dont seem to care about their customers at all!

I purchased an empty hilt/blade for an electronics project and everything went well until I got my confirmation email. The email said that there was a 9-12 week lead time on my order which is absolutely ridiculous considering that I have also ordered from Ultrasabers and my hilt was shipped less than 24 hours later. Their cancellation policy (which is buried inside the help section, not at all where I thought it would be) said that products that are in stock could not be refunded and pre-order products could. I assumed that the long lead time meant that the hilt that I had gotten was a pre-order since I never saw anything during the ordering process that said otherwise. They didn't even respond to my cancellation request until 2 days later and when they did it turned out that it was apparently in stock so now I am stuck with a hilt coming in a few months that I thought that I was refunded for and I used the money to buy an Ultrasabers hilt instead, so now I am stuck with my money being gone because of the super ambiguous ordering process. Go to Ultrasabers. I don't think that any hilt is worth a 2 month minimum wait time let alone the reported 6 month waits that I have heard about. If SaberForge sees this, please fix your site to make your enormous wait times more obvious and please do a better job laying the return/cancellation policy out for potential customers so that they don't unwittingly fall into the same trap that I have.

My fiancee and I both ordered customs sabers, one order on May 15 and one on May 16. We needed them to shoot our engagement photos, which we planned on doing sometime in July, and mid-May seemed like a reasonable amount of lead time. When we hadn't heard anything by July 13, I sent an email to *******@saberforge.com to ask for an update. I received a response back on July 19, saying that there had been an issue with the custom finish for my saber and an issue with the pommel for my fiancee's. After some back-and-forth, we agreed to swap out the pommel for one that was in-stock, and Saber Forge gave us a $25 gift certificate so we could get the pommel she originally wanted, once it was restocked. We finally received an update that the order was ready and being sent to "quality control" on August 6.

This is where things started to get extra frustrating.

My fiancee's saber was eventually delivered on August 17. She had ordered a crossguard saber with a red day blade set. What arrived was a set of red crossguards, a red primary blade, and a clear primary blade, but no clear crossguards. We immediately contacted Saber Forge to request that the clear crossguards to be shipped with our second saber and asked for an update on that order. On August 26, they responded to confirm that the crossguards had been added to the order and that my saber was with "quality control" and would ship within 5-15 business days.

That was a month ago, and that was the last I heard from them. Their website gives a lead time for custom sabers of 10-14 weeks. It has now been four months, and I have no idea if or when I will receive my order.

Ive ordered from both sites and I will not be going back to saber forge for anything. They claim yo have a 4-8 week standard turn around time which is already longer than ultrasabers, and they still can't even keep to that. All I ordered was some parts to upgrade a lightsaber and here I am after 9 weeks with no parts. The costumer service just tells you your not allowed to cancel your order and then ignore you all together. I will never be buying from them again.

Aside from their terrible customer service, just received my saber and it came broken because they didn't glue the pieces on properly. So I'll have to reglue all of the plastic handle pieces on myself.

As for first impressions:
- Not as bright as you'd expect
- Allen screws misaligned, so had to create a new thread which was annoying
- Instructions super vague
- Charger not compatible with my countries sockets
- Sounds aren't great, speaker not very good quality and movement detection is poor, and doesn't really align with the movements well at all. Clash detection also pretty garbage.
- Overall build quality subpar for the price I paid

Came out of this feeling ripped off. Would have expected much better for their highest tier saber with all of the extras.

I've ordered from other companies as well, and this was the first saber to arrive, so fingers crossed they turn out much better. They have a better reputation, so I'm hopeful. Wishing I didn't waste my money on Saberforge though. Don't make my mistake.

Excellent service

I ordered a saber from saberforge in November. They shipped it within a month, which was to my surprise. It arrived in the Netherlands not long after that. I emailed them that the charger was missing and they responded within 2 days and send me a new one. Very nice service!

And the saber is AWESOME

It gives the word "helplessness" a whole new meaning. With no other way to communicate to them except through email and it takes them light years to respond, you are left with no choice but to wait helplessly. The waiting time is ridiculously long and they have no sense of decency to meet the customer's expectations. They will give you all sorts of excuses to keep you waiting longer for nothing. This company is bogus.

Fraud company.

Ordered in early January. No Saber. No answer to our last email. 14 weeks now. Time to initiate legal action on this with state of Oregon and other venues. Do not patronize.

Where to begin? I feel as if I could write a novel regarding this abysmal experience. Firstly, let me say this - I never wanted to be the guy to write such a horrid review. I genuinely wanted and eagerly looked forward to obtaining a saber from SaberForge. Nonetheless, they've forced my hand; It would be a disservice to potential customers for me not to at least mention my experience.

After ordering the product on 12/31/2017, I expected, let's just say some basic form of communication regarding the production of my saber. Honestly, when spending nearly $500.00, this expectation doesn't seem too grandiose or unrealistic. However, to my initial surprise, I had to be the one to initiate any form of communication with this company. I was initially told my order would take six (6) to nine (9) weeks - which seems excessive in my opinion, but it is what is - so I thought. After the first six (6) week mark, I emailed Saberforge to ask what the status of my saber was. To my surprise, I was told it would now take twelve (12) weeks because of their production woes. Somehow building a $500.00 lightsaber takes longer than building a $350,000 house - for comparison. Nevertheless, I agreed to wait - and was polite the entire time. Keep in mind, they only have email for communication and they take multiple days to even respond, so you're simply out of options but to wait (most responses appear to be copy and pasted as well).

As the twelve (12) weeks came to an end, I had to message the company and let them know that I expected my saber to be completed and shipped my way immediately; to my dismay but not total shock, I was notified that it would be another three (3) weeks - minimum! Without hesitation I demanded my money back and they agreed. I was never offered any discount, meaningful remedy, or genuine care or concern. The lack of customer service knowledge, awareness, professionalism, and organization is beyond embarrassing - it's pathetic, shameful, and simply rude. It appears from online photos and videos that Saberforge makes excellent products, but having a superb product is irrelevant if the customer service and actual production time of the item is atrocious and poorly-managed. There's not much more to say.

I had to threaten to file fraud with my bank just to get them to respond to me by the end of my experience. I will never buy a saber from this establishment or even visit their website again, and I will share my experience with everyone I know who even entertains the thought of buying a product from Saberforge.

DO NOT spend your money here. Ordered a basic light saber with no bells and whistles. Took the money out of my account same day as order. According to the website, a basic order is to take 4 weeks. I've been waiting 10 weeks now and when they finally responded to my email it was with a vague "your order is on schedule" when it was already 4 weeks late.

They do not take phone calls and you can't speak to anyone. Take your money to a more reputable business.

Horrible Company!

Worst company I've ever dealt with! Placed my order for a Champion Hilt on 11/16/17. Received it on 12/27/17 and it was DOA. Took three days for Saberforge to reply to my email inquiry requesting an RMA and sent me a return shipping label.

Sent a few emails over the following weeks asking for status. Actually got an! Back telling me they already told me 1-5 weeks on RMA. Keep in mind, I'm out $400 on a saber that I've still not received!

I got an email from Saberforge on 2/3/18 with an USPS tracking number. Six business days later, it still shows awaiting pickup from Saberforge.

Would NEVER, EVER buy from or support this lousy organization again.

I ordered a sabre and it did take the 8 to 10 weeks to be delivered, it cost 20% vat on top of original cost before parcel force would deliver it and it broke within a week, all they replied with was send a video of it not working, which we did (obviously nothing to see as would not work). Since then no correspondence from them at all despite many emails. So buyer beware once paid do not expect any help or repairs.

I ordered 3 lightsabers from their site that stated they would arrive in 6-8 weeks. They billed me immediately, but I did not receive anything until 13 weeks, 1 day. It was very difficult to get any communication from them and most emails went unanswered (they ONLY use email). What I finally received was terrible. All 3 were defective. 2 of them had LEDs improperly installed causing internal burning and destroying the sabers. The sabers had mismatched parts and no tools were included to attach them (instructions state tools are included). I couldn't get anyone to return my emails so I canceled payment on my credit card. They didn't even notice for 2 months and then, when they finally noticed, they threatened legal action against me even though they were the ones who sent defective items and refused to address it. They finally agreed to fix the problem, but refused to do it before we sent the old ones back. We felt it was only fair to keep them until new ones were sent since we already waited so long. They refused so it ended up taking almost 6 months to finally receive working sabers. After all this, they refused to take any money off or to throw in anything extra for all we had to go through. This is a very unprofessional company... stay far away. If in doubt, check them out at the BBB. Terrible place.

Never trust a company that will not accept phone calls- obviously not in the business of customer service. After spending way too much money on a light saber, the blade was actually missing out of the damaged box, and saber forge did nothing to help. They did not properly package the $350.00+ gift- the box came damaged- re-taped, while missing parts.

Saber Forge is an online retailer that sells light sabers for deuling and collectors. They have several models available, which are classified under two categories, namely Battle Sabers and Elite Sabers. Both kinds are assembled to order, and can be used for full contact and full speed dueling. The difference between the two categories is that the Elite Sabers Collection features more intricate and detailed designs.
In my opinion, the models classified under the Battle Sabers are still beautifully crafted. If there's a bad thing I can say about their products, it's that it's hard to pick out the best from the choices available. I particularly like the Exhalted for its clean lines. Although Saber Forge does not create custom sabers, I am very much pleased with this product and would not hesitate to order another one in the near future.
