Ryobi enjoys a mixed reputation among its customers, with notable strengths in product quality and versatility. Many users appreciate the performance and ease of use of their tools, particularly battery-operated lawn equipment, which is praised for its efficiency and lightweight design. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly related to warranty claims, service delays, and difficulties in obtaining replacement parts. Complaints about inadequate support and communication suggest a need for improvement in customer relations. Overall, while Ryobi has a loyal customer base, enhancing service responsiveness could bolster its reputation further.

Great tools like. Drills, trimmer, pressure washer, hand saws, batteries lawn mowers flash lights. I have all those tools
On 8/10/21 I ordered and paid by CC for a 40 V Leaf Blower. As of today (8/16/21) I have no communication from the company except my account mentions that money has been paid and my order is being processed. I have sent numerous messages through their contact page but none of them have been responded nor there is any communication regarding shipping etc. This company looks a fraudulent company.
I have requested my CC company to intervene and get my money back. BE CAREFUL.
Bought a 40v side discharge lawnmower and a 40v weed eater and they both are fantastic. The mulch on the mower is great, and will help with my yard. Great purchase and would recommend them to everyone.

Bought at Home Depot
Just bought my Ryobi self propelled, mulch, battery operated. But the battery does not work. Will see if I can exchange for new one.
This has to be one of the best tools that I have ever bought. It is powerful, and quiet. I can cut my entire lawn on only 1 charge. I bought the self propelled model with a speed control. I use the mulching feature, and don't have to keep emptying the grass catcher. Very convenient. Being light to begin with, cutting my grass is no longer a chore, but an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this lawnmower to anyone and everyone. Stephen Curcuru
This is my first cordless mower, all my previous mowers being gas powered. I will never return to gas. As my old mower was not functional, I had not cut the grass in weeks. It was high and thick. I used my new ROBI in mulch mode, and on the lowest height setting, expecting it to have trouble and need a recharge part way through the job. I was amazed to find that it truly does have gas-like power, and it completed the entire job on one charge. No gas to store in cans, and way less noise. This unit is sturdily built, attractive, easy to manoeuvre, and stores upright in a small space. Couldn't be better.
We purchased our weed eater ( 18" gas straight shaft string trimmer) from Home Depot. Very reasonably priced as we had shopped around extensively. Two other trimmers we had purchased and returned had failed to even start.
This one started right up. It never faltered. It was light weight and easy to use and does a good job. Mode; number RY*******
I am a 68 yr old female and I have a radio has blue tooth and can charge my phone off of it also have handvac -a nailer-a whipper sniper-and just purchased a jet fan blower theses products are amazing I strongly recommend to ladies that do yard work to check The Fantastic Products they have.
We purchased this mover, model RY*******VNM yesterday so have only mowed once. But really pleased with ease of assembly and straightforward direction. Lightweight and did a great job. We are very pleased with our purchase. Had a little difficulty registering our product but had fast and efficient service through the chat line.
I have a old RY******* that one of the handle screws rusted through and the end of the handle broke off. The tool is pretty beat up from a lot of use, so I bought a new one with a battery and charger. A new battery alone costs as much as a new hedge trimmer with a battery and charger. That is totally weird. Anyhow, the new one seems to be a little lighter. Ryobi has put a "cutesy" turning handle on it that I deemed worthless and a marketing ploy. You only have to squeeze the handle for the trigger to unlock, rather than hold in a thumb switch. This I like very much. The blades have been improved and seem to cut a lot better. Overall, I like it more than the old one and recommend it.
Several months ago I bought a Ryobi weed eater and was impressed with the ease to start it also impressed with the power of the weed eater. Started out great until I attempted to weed eat my yard. From the beginning I have trouble with the stringer head. It was hard to take off and hard to put back on. As of today only after using the weed eater for a few months the stringer head is off and will not go back on. I have noticed over the months I have owned the Ryobi weed eater I spent more time messing with the stringer head than weed eating. Ryobi got the motor right but the stringer head is a pain. My options are but another stringer head or a different brand. I have used Craftsman most of my life and never had this problem. Sum up, motor great everything else subpar.
I recently purchased an 18V lithium battery powered hedge trimmer. Very pleased, works really well!
I purchased Ryobi 4V 20 inch Electric Push Mower last Saturday evening and have used it every day since and today is Tuesday. I am a 72 year old senior and could not get either of my gas mowers to start in the last week. This mower is light weight and such a breeze to use. I have a large front yard and back yard and finished my front yard on one charge. It charges faster than it says. I would highly recommend Ryobi power tools to anyone, my first but not my last.
I brought my first 18 volt, blower and weed eater several years ago. After a year have brought four more.
I now have three RYOBI tools and enjoy using all three. The lawnmower was purchased two weeks ago and I really like it. I like not having to pull start it, quiet running and lightweight to push. We also purchased the RYOBI fan and used it often until our air conditioner was installed. We also use the car wash tool that was given to us as a gift.
So far a good product.
Perfect for small jobs. Just what we were looking for. Easy to handle and cordless which I'd the best,
Buen producto, excelente marca, duradera. Tengo varias herramientas de la marca y me han durado bastante. No las cambio.
OVER THE YEARS I HAVE OWNED & STILL OWN MOST OF MY RYOBI TOOLS. I HAVE **NEVER** HAD AN OUNCE OF TROUBLE WITH ANY OF THEM. I'VE OWNED MOST OTHER BRANDS, SOME WAY MORE EXPENSIVE THEN RYOBI, BUT THEY JUST WERE NOT WORTH THE EXTRA EXPENSE. IN MY EXPERIENCE, DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR, YOU JUST CAN'T BEAT RYOBO TOOLS...**PERIOD**
The trimmer is excellent, well balanced and easy to use. The assembly was very simple, the automatic plastic trim string works very easily. P, the refilling of the trim string is the easiest I have ever used.
I bought a cord type because of price the recharge battery style I didn't feel confident in the technology.
The one draw back is it is heavy with the motor located at the top of the trimmer it also gets hot.
Good machine otherwise.
As a male retiree, age 78, I am now a proud owner of a RYOBI weed wacker/with a blower combination. It was ordered and sent to me for a gift, It is lightweight and easy to use. I highly recommend it to others.
Answer: I own 2 chain saws, 18" bar and 14"bar, both run excellent, I have cleared a lot of trees over the last several years on property up north, thank you
Answer: Yes, call Ryobi's 800 number. They will send a replacement. The same thing happened to me.
