Ryobi enjoys a mixed reputation among its customers, with notable strengths in product quality and versatility. Many users appreciate the performance and ease of use of their tools, particularly battery-operated lawn equipment, which is praised for its efficiency and lightweight design. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly related to warranty claims, service delays, and difficulties in obtaining replacement parts. Complaints about inadequate support and communication suggest a need for improvement in customer relations. Overall, while Ryobi has a loyal customer base, enhancing service responsiveness could bolster its reputation further.

I have 6 Ryobi tools and wouldn't buy any other brand. They do a great job! They make my yard work easier.
Just started a lawn and garden LLC, utilizing the ryobi 18 volt lit. Product brands. I have found the product to be very reliable and dependable as well each product used far out performs most compatible competitors products. I am very please with the quality and ease of use as well as the lightweight construction of the product line. I ultimately recommend the entire outdoor lawn products ion powered series to all of my fellow land scapers
L was never a big fan of ryobi tools untill my son inlaw brought his set over to help me on a project and i saw it in action, and convinced me to buy a set of my own and now i keep that set in my truck so i have it to use when ever the need arises.

Have had our tools since 2007 just ordered new batteries our son loves all the products we would love to have the thousand dollar gift card from Home Depot to buy more
Excellent, easy to use; had general questions concerning the use and battery operation and the CS person stayed on the phone with me for a good 20 min. Very impressive
Have several Ryobi tools, they all work great just got weed whip and leaf blower for Birthday love them!
I am a female, mid 60's. I selected the Ryobi 40V 20" battery operated push lawn mower and am totally happy with the purchase. Easy to assemble, love that is stores upright (saves lots of room) and is very easy to use. Simply push the start button and away you go. It's great not having to deal with oil/gas. Mower gets a full 48 min mow as advertised. Would highly recommend this mower.
My 92 year old mother ask for a lightweight blower and weed eater that was battery powered.
The Ryobi 18v one plus was a great purchase from Home Depot.
Very senior friendly.
I purchased a Ryobi 40v 20" self propelled battery powered mower and I love it. It's light weight, easy to start and easy to use. Got tired of my gas mower not starting every spring. No more buying gas and having repair bills to keep it going. I never thought I would have that much trouble with a Toro but I was sure wrong.
Bought the pin nailer from Home Depot in Dec of 2021. Returned it for service in Jan.
Ryobi tells me to take it back to Home Depot who doesn't repair them but sends it to a third party and charges me $32,00, (Refundable if found to be a factory defect)
It was mailed back to Home Depot March of 2022 and here we are May of 2022 and still haven't received it
Nobody answers or returns calls from Ryobi and Home Depot say's it's out of there hands.
Last Ryobi i will ever buy for sure.
Just purchased a lawn trimmer, does everything I expected. Happy with my purchase. Very light and easy to operate.
I may be the most ignorant & impatient person with directions & assembly, but the Ryobi power washer was easy, quick & painless! My wife could not believe how fast & easy I assembled it & washed our gutters! TY Ryobi!
Bought a new 18V Drill/Driver from Home Depot less than 6 months ago. After 4 months, the two speed switch failed and would not switch between speeds. Sent it to the authorized warranty shop over six weeks ago. The shop quickly diagnosed the problem and advised that they ordered a replacement switch. After 4 weeks of waiting, I called the shop and they were still waiting for the part. I called back today and they are still waiting. I called Ryobi Customer Service today and the rep told me, with attitude, that it was completely normal to wait up to 8 weeks for parts to be sent to repair shops. I asked the rep to authorize a replacement given the delay, and she advised that because the part was not on backorder, they would not replace the drill. To me, it is completely unacceptable for a 6 month old drill to fail, and then to have Ryobi say that it is okay to have the customer wait up to two months to have it repaired. Terrible customer service.
Excellent product work horse and battery last quite a while and recharged fast. Highly recommend this product.
The Ryobi brand tire inflator was a great purchase and came in handy for cars, boat trailors and campers this summer. Also has bike tire and inflatable adaptor. We take it on roadtrips because gas stations charge for air nowadays. The digital read out on PSI is accurate. Tested it multiple times. My buddy ended up buying one after a recent camping trip.
Bought my RYB BL 7-1/4 Circsaw. Great product which has helped with my projects. I recommend this product to everyone.
My wife purchased an RY******* 21" Mower for my birthday. I have used it one (1) time and am returning it to Home Depot. A) It is bulky and not as manuverable as my old 21" gas mower. B) It does not cut the grass as well or as smoothly as my old gas mower which needs a tune-up, oil change, and has a dull blade. It (the RYOBI) just mashes the grass over which springs back up and has to be cut again from the opposite direction. C) When mowing around a tree I could hear the blade hitting the deck, the plastic deck bends in allowing the blade to score the plastic deck. D) The Owner's Manual says that the batteries should mow 3/4 of an acre. Our lot is less than 1/3 of an acre which includes a 3BR, 2Bath House with Kitchen and Dining Rooms, 2 car Garage and Driveway, fruit and shade trees, flower beds, plus a 25' x 75' garden. I didn't even get all the grass mowed before both batteries went dead (I had fully charged them prior to beginning per instructions). I went and got my old gas mower out and finished the rest of the lawn. My wife remarked that the grass looked better where I had used the old mower. She said, "Let's take it back". She had also used the RYOBI a few rounds and did not like the performance either.
I am a novice power tool user. Bought a Ryobi Table saw from Home Depot in Athens GA three years ago. Realized I had lost the Two Wrenches need to change the Blade on the saw. Called Ryobi Customer Service to order them. They sent me "Both Wrenches" FREE. I have an Impact Drill, Tire Air Compressor, and a Angle Grinder. All Ryobi. Guys all are Great tools for the DYI handyman. Thanks Ryobi Customer Service
