I have met 2 very sweet women on the site and I continue to talk to one of them. However I also met another one who was successful in scamming me out of about $2000. This person is Vera Efanova of Omsk, Russia. On her profile she claimed to be from Volgograd which should have been a big red flag. However I started communicating with her and we seemed to hit it off. We even spoke on the phone several times as her English was good enough that we didn't need the translation services that most others need in order to communicate in English. We planned to have her fly to the US so we could meet. The first visit was scheduled and I paid for her flight. Then she claimed she was attacked by her boss at a party (she is a trauma nurse) and then she lost her job when she refused his advances. The next trip was plsnned but this time since she had no job we had to pay $3000 for travelers checks which is required by the Russian Embassy if you don't have a job. So I paid half and she supposedly paid the other half. The trip was set and she claimed to get to Moscow but as she was going thru Customs she was stopped because of a ring she was wearing and now she needed $3900 or they might put her in jail. I refused to give her anymore money and have not heard back since. She was helped by a guy named Trestin Fedor at Amigo Tours. He actually received the money I sent. So while there are some nice sincere ladies on there (the one I still talk to are from the Ukraine) beware of the con artists like Vera Efanova.

I subscribed for 3 month as a platinium member. At the end of my membership, it got auto-renewed against my will. BE MINDFUL, their is an option that is automatically set on to auto-renew your contract, you have to uncheck it or it will cost you money!
I contacted them many times, they argued that it was "clearly mentioned" in the terms of use and in the receipt and refused to refund...
It is indeed written in the terms of use among tones of BS, but it was not made clear to me, that is not true, I was not aware of it!
BE VERY CAREFUL with them, you might have a very bad surprise if you subscribe for a year and do not wish to renew.
I found other websites where you can get a refund and you are treated in a more honest way.
In addition it is full of scammers, I recommend you keep searching, it is not difficult to find other websites.

I registered last Month on this site and was inundated by Women from not only Russia, but other Baltic and Eastern European Countries. First off they will ask you to communicate with them off the site via Skype as this means the site admin cannot keep tabs on what you and her say to each other. Very soon after making contact these women will want to meet you. And usually it will be in a Hotel of their choice which you will be expected to pay for, secondly as the day of your prospective meeting draws near they will say that they can't afford the Rail or Air fare and could you pay for it?... some of them are more brazen and simply ask you to pay for the whole shebang. One scammer from Romania asked me outright for 800 Euros for the privilege of us meeting up. Many of them profess undying love for you. Just check the activity in their profile and you will see that they have a lot of love to spread around. Again all via Skype... I expect there are a few genuine women on here, but they are few and far between. Good Luck with this Site but as soon as any woman on this site asks for Money just Block them on Skype and the Main Site. And keep the Money requests and report them to Site admin.

Worst dating site ever for scams. Fake profiles running rampant all over the place. All you have to do is try POF and see no one asks for you email until it feels like the thing to do. Simple conversations normally short on POF. But if those scammers on Russian Cupid get your email get ready for a story and a half and plenty of pics you never asked for. LOL! Freakin brutal!
Yes, I talked to a few people who were normal, but 90% was fake. So pissed! Worst experience I ever had on a dating site tried 8 to see whats out there. This one is the worst! But plenty of those international hot shot sites with hot girls are also brutal for fake profiles. If your in North America, I suggest you go with POF for the fee go at it. Good luck, and keep an eye open for those fake punks! If its to good to be true, its to good to be true!

Alright guys, I just finished a 3 month Gold membership. Here's what I found out, There are many real beautiful girls on the website, I met one very pretty girl who I chatted with years ago on another site (badoo) so I knew she was real, but we didn't work out after all. Met many other pretty girls and we added each other as friends on Facebook and VK, They were legit.
But there are quite a few scam profiles on the site too, I report them and the site always bans them shortly after & they send you an email letting you know they banned the person.

Alright guys, Tips on how to spot the scammers-
1: They will send you the 1st letter saying something like "Hi you caught my attention, write me your email and I will send you my photos.
2: They will write a letter saying something like "Hi how are you" And after you reply, they then go again with the 'I'm not here often, write me your email, and I will send you my photos".
Do NOT EVER give them your email but report them to the site as a scam.

As another reviewer said-Right click on the little image preview of the girls photo, view image, copy address bar of the image, go to google images & click on the camera icon on the right side of the search bar & paste the address of the girls image in there and search. That way you can see if they are using fake photos of actresses or models etc. And you can see if they have a legit account on VK etc.

Overall, I met many more real beautiful women on this site then the free one's like fdating, Russian-Dating etc.

I recommend the site, just be very careful especially with girls on there aged 25-34 which is the age most scammers go with.

I am actually a woman (not Russian though) and since recently a member of that site. I have no interest in finding a husband, just to make some new friends... but the site is... brrrr, obviously into a serious business, no fun and no r'n'r. I was contacted by a Lakota guy living in the Netherlands, and when we tried to communicate via their "e-mail" I wasn't able to see his messages until I paid, something like 30 and some bucks. Finally I did, so, but after this month expires my account on that site will expire too, I have no intention of funding the cupid company. Oh, no.

I signed up to this site recently. Just 2 hours after my registration I had 10 women who had sent me a mail or interest indication. What was very strange is our time zones where completely different. It was early hours of morning in Ukraine, like 3.00am.

I never had a photo in my profile and just simple very basic information in my profile.

I find this very hard to believe that these young(25 - 28 years old) super hot women would need my attention that fast.
