I had used a sister site called Latin American cupid with good results. Unfortunately both this site and Ukrainedate are really bad. Lots of scammers and bots from Ukraine and Russia just want money and really fake girls. I know this because the ones that actually contacted me by phone and skype just wanted me to send them money. To be honest, you are better off just learning Russian and going there for a few months and meeting real Russian woman than trying online.

It is totally true that the site is full of scammers, especially those female individuals from Ukraine. But if you are smart enough, not too gullible, and use properly common sense, you will be able to find real people here. It should be stressed that the site has the option of finding some members with a ''verified'' badge, which means this person is REAL, since he/she had to upload a copy of an identification document that contains the name and a photo. So, the site really fights against scam; and there are people like you looking for romance or friendship as well.

This site makes me more irritated than Ivan Drago in Rocky IV. I hate it when sites use fake files to send you fake notifications. Its just insulting to my intelligence. You want me to believe 10 women have messaged me bofore I even uploaded a photo? I wasnt born yesterday, comrades. Giving you 1 star for being annoying. The worst part about these bots sending you fake messages is that once you join the site its a sharp contrast, no one is messaging you, its a ghost town. Sites like this just want your money in the short term. They dont actually want to provide a service but just get by o suckers joining for a month or 2 then cancelling. This site is a scam from some deprate Russians trying to make a quick buck. Thumbs down. No wayski, Russki.

Its funny those on here with there reviews that says its a legit site and many have found there wives or husbands. Its obvious you got paid by russiancupid to lie. The woman will talk with you and keep repeating over and over and then they say they are faithful and honest yet they cant remember what you talked about 6 hours earlier if you ask a simple off the wall question like what did you say i can taste when we are together and they tell you totally something you never even talked about. But hey each is to your own its a fun thing to waste time if your bored but dont waste money

I have no problem with the website. I have been on the site for about 2 weeks and have found 4 good women that I am sure are sincere. They send me pictures of themselves and there families on email, skype to me, Ive talked to them on the phone (too expensive so hence skype), and generally are just as glad to know me as I am to know them.

These women are better looking than a similar American woman that I could get, but they are not waaaay way out of my league, if you know what I mean. They are considerable more kind than a nice looking desirable American women would be.

American men and Russian women seek each other out because of the rampant feminism that goes on in America and the Chauvinism that is a part of Russian society. Its not because Russia is some kind of third world is desperation.

It seems to me from what I've read and researched, that the American men who are getting ripped off and failing miserably in there search are being unrealistic.

Have some common sense and be realistic. Any American man can get a good Russian women. The hard part for me will be to decide between them. They are all incredible.

Not all that is said about this site is true. Granted you do have your opportunistic individuals out there. But frankly, every culture does. Just use common sense and be honest with the individual you are communicating with. I have met the love of my life on this website, and I thank God for this everyday. We have been together for over a year and it has not been easy for either of us with figuring out the distance, and difficulties with dating someone from another country across the globe. But it can work and I can tell you, when you find this person, it is with all the effort. So don't be frustrated with some failures or heart breaks. Be confident and strong and move forward. Love will find you, or you will find it. But you need to try and be open to things that aren't within your comfort zone. Good luck

Russian Cupid sent me a free trial for 48 hours. I thought great I will check it out see if anyone is real and maybe give it a chance again. Perhaps I misjudged them in the past. WRONG! Again I did not activate my offer, I signed into the site once on my own. Two days later I receive and email telling me that my free trial offer had expired, Naturally, I brought this to their attention. I was told the following...

Counting from the time you take up the offer by logging into your profile or
Clicking on the link in the email we sent you.

Our record shows that the free trial was offer to you on October 13th and was
Accepted and started on October 13th. It has then expired on October 15th.

If you wish to continue enjoying the premium benefits after the free trial, you can
Upgrade your membership by clicking the green "Upgrade Now!" button."

Again I did not accept or start the offer. I wrote them at least two or three times and they began to patronize me basically saying " We are sorry and we understand, consider upgrading to a full membership today.

Their people are complete liars that do not care about their customers. And their customer service really sucks. Most companies under similar conditions would simply offer the free trial instead of risking alienating a potential customer, but not these bozos. I had no reason to lie about activating my membership and they should be able to check my account and see that my activity during te so called free membership trial was minimal. Completely ridiculous! So I decided to report them as I told them I would, because they do not honor what they say. This company appears to be a complete scam! Stay away from all Cupid.com sites.
