Ordered Louis Vuitton handbag at RueLaLa and I received a fake Louis Vuitton!. In description it says: Accompanied by a generic dust bag. It arrives without authentic dust bag. The bag was visibly fake not with genuine leather et. C. Looks like cheap copy selling in china town. I was able to return the item it took long time though to negotiate and receive return labels. This is not 1st time I receive fake designer item listed as authentic. I believe Rue La La doesn't check items for authenticity (compare to The Real Real) and mostly sells fake designer items. Don't buy any luxury designer's items from Rue La La - most of them or maybe even all are NOT Authentic!
I ordered a bathing suit which came and didn't fit. Called to find out how to return it. The woman on the phone said that she would review the return and get back to me in 5 to 7 days. She also said bathing suits are non returnable. All the tags are on it and I have never worn it. Just tried it on to see if it fit. I found out how to print a free postage label and sent it back today. If I don't see a credit on my charge after they receive it, I will call my credit card company and dispute. Will never order anything from them again. Terrible company!
Ordered jewelry for my wife on our anniversary. Paid for expedited shipping. Never received tracking number for shipment. Of course items did not arrive. Called customer service, they assured me that the items would arrive in 2 days. Again the items never arrived. Spoke to customer rep supervisor and she arranged for refund. She said that the refund will 5 to 7 days. You better believe I will be checking my credit card statement. Will never do business with them again.
Rue La La is as bad as it gets. They sent me a damaged bag, gave me the run-around for a week before sending a return label, & then -- from the time the bag was back to their warehouse -- took over a month to refund my money! I called, emailed, chatted countless times. Nothing helped except filing a dispute with my credit card, which worked like a charm. Save yourself a month of agony and just go straight to filing a dispute with your credit card.
Terrible experience! I finally were connected after 30 mins hold on line. This black woman was not speaking a word or greeting after she picked up the phone for about another 5 mins. She is completely in a phased out mode after I said my request then I had to repeat because she did not get it. She hanged up on me before I even finished! She should be fired! Will never return to shop again. Go bankrupt soon.
I recently ordered five different items - from luggage (that I saw on a morning television show), Valentino shoes, a ladies sweater and a $29.99 bracelet. Each and every item arrived in a timely manner and was tracked via Fed Ex. Each item was exactly as described and pictured on website. Each item was ordered separately and arrived packaged separately on different dates, as expected. I will definitely be ordering from this site again.
This site is horrible. I ordered some UMA lamps and received some cheap knock-offs from another company. Granted, UMA is not a high-end brand, but the knock-offs from a company named Cosmopolitan, were very cheap-looking and poorly made. The lamps were listed as a "FINAL SALE", which is very sleazy. I was able to get a refund and in addition they graciously gave me an online credit for a future purchase. I used the credit to purchase some Colonial towels and once again received a much cheaper, flimsy set from another company. I will never order from them again..
I ordered a pair of designer sunglasses. The Rue La La package finally arrived after a few weeks. When I opened the box, inside contained a case for the shades in a plastic bag sealed with a sticker. I took the case out of the bag and opened it, and there were no glasses inside the case. I did see a cleaning cloth and some authentication papers. I spoke to a Rue La La representative, and I went through a few steps, one was the examination of the package, and the representative entertained the possibility of the package being tampered with. I ruled out tampering since the package arrived in great shape. I did notice the seal (pretty much a sticker); that sealed the case for the glasses wasn't very sticky due to being opened prior.
I've been in contact with their customer support, which they call the "Concierge Service." I filled out a claim form, and we'll see what happens. This is my first purchase with this company, and I'm 100% confident this will be my last. I'll gladly pay full price for an item to avoid all this nonsense.

So I called, first she said they just got shipment in and was about to distribute them, when I told her to cancel my order because I was traveling tomorrow and would need to go purchase luggage she said well it was shipped already. I ordered the luggage I saw on the Wendy's show and they told me after waiting 11 days that it never shipped. They told me that they didn't have a replacement to send to me and I told the sh$tty customer service that I never received it so how can there even be a replacement. I order from them 6 dinning chairs and nightstands in April. Received the nightstands and the quality was horrible so decide to cancel the dinning chais. We are now in the month of JULY and I haven't receive my money for $1500. 00. They keep telling me that in a couple more days or that my bank does not release my money. Called my bank and they said that they will never withhold a deposit and that the company never tried to make a refund. Don't order from them. If anyone can help to try to get my money from them please let me know.
Do not order from this company. I ordered a dress for $500. The website said I could return within 30 days, yet you can't generate a return label. No one will help. They just give you the run around. Beware! Don't order from them. Such a scam! Update! I finally got a return label after getting to talk to a supervisor and threatening to file a complaint with NBC news consumer complaints! Unbelievable! The calls and run around were ridiculous!
If you want return something please be careful! They know how to do dirty tricks with your money! I did order 3 items together in one transaction, they charge me with tax( total tax was 21 or 22$ but it's ok) And when l called them( after 3 weeks l didn't get my money back) girl count for me money back without tax and she took 9.99 for refund each item! Sooo l paid for my order 425$ and she send email with refund 375 $! This is CRAZY! Please check your account after refund!
I have never bought anything from here but was told by an acquaintance to sign up for emails in order to get deals. All I have gotten is a never ending stream of junk emails totally unrelated to ANYTHING offered by Rue La La. DON'T DO IT!
I ordered several "Predire" products from them. They were all fake made in China. The packaging was cheap and looked fake. I also ordered "Secret collagen" brand products. Age defying lifting facial cream from "Predire" and "Secret Collagen" was in the same exact container. The manufacturer had just printed a different brand name on each container. The "Secret collagen" products said that they were made in China. Both of the masks that I ordered were rancid and the other had leaked out of the packaging. Product named Predire Moroccan liquid gold retinol smelled so bad that I had to throw it out. All the sales were final so I did not attempt to return these products. Rue la la double charged me for my order. I called about it and they say that they only charge when they ship, however, they charged for the whole amount and then again for each item shipped. Unless they refund the double charge I have to take them to small claims court. Avoid this site and save your skin, money and sanity.

The package came in timely manner "BUT" it was not packaged very well. The face cleanser was almost gone from it leaking out of the bottle plus the name on the label was faded - the eye cream I purchased seemed to be only half full. It is unfortunate because I was excited to buy from this company. I should of looked at the reviews. I hate to judge so quickly but I learned the hard way.
I ordered a dress that was never received as promised. When I checked on it, they said it was at the post office and could not be delivered but they could not give me any reason why it wasn't delivered. They said it happens 10% of the time. Go figure - I receive Prime deliveries almost daily. Customer service had no reasons and was very unhelpful. They don't really want your business. I don't recommend this company!
