I bought a ton of equipment from Rogue and when I expressed dissatisfaction for their overpriced mats they basically hide behind their small print policies.
THEY HAVE NO GUARANTEE OF THEIR PRODUCTS WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. SHOP THEIR COMPETITORS!
I purchased a squat rack paid $930.00 It took 1 month in a half before I called since my package never got delivered. Apparently they got my address wrong and the package had got lost. Once I told them I no longer wanted it and my money back. What do you know a few days after asking for a refund my package was finally delivered I than had to pay an extra $250.00 to send it back even though I told multiple different phone reps I no longer wanted it in the first place while it was "lost" they completely screwed me over, my package was all beat up, it came 2 months later and I still haven't got a refund. I suggest nobody buy anything from this company. The customer service is awful, its been a nightmare getting a refund, This company is very fraudulent & If i could give it no stars i would.
I like Rogue because they have quality product, but I refuse to promote them, refer them, or order from them again because whoever runs their operations straight up sucks. And, whoever runs their customer service, straight up sucks. Multiple calls to the company about product, they check here and there, say it's available, then no longer a package, that I can order it individually, then when I order it individually, that the promotions it describes online don't apply.
I order 14 products, and it says online that the order will ship in 5-7 days (and the rack note says 14-30 days). A week later I call, and they tell me that they have to bundle it to save on shipping so everything won't ship for 14-30 days. I say, "that's fine, but you should modify the 5-7 days on the site so that people don't get the wrong expectation"... and then the customer service guy starts to argue with me, telling me that they sent an email later telling me that... and the email said the rack, but the customer service department continues to argue with me about it...
Worst experience trying to get product from a company. They're contentious, they misrepresent, they don't know what they're doing from an operational stand point. Horribly run company.
I've spent quite a bit of money on Rogue equipment over the past six months for my garage gym (still a work in progress, but that's okay). In fairness, I will say that all of my items came in a timely manner with the exception of one which as of this review, I'm still waiting on. I opted to receive in stock notifications for items that were out of stock. The thing with Rogue is that their products sell relatively quickly so once you receive an in stock notification, be prepared to make a purchase. With that in mind, On Nov. 2,2020, I purchased the Monster Utility Bench 2.0 along with the Thompson Fat Pad. According to Rogue, these items ship within 14-30 days. The RSS (Rogue Shipping System) only showed that the order was received and processed- that's it.
After 31 days, I decided to reach out to Rogue in an effort to see if there was an update regarding my order. They told me that the bench was still in production and that my order would ship complete once the Thompson Fat Pad was back in stock. Now I'm like, "Wait a minute..." if an item is out of stock, you will not be able to purchase it, nor add it to your wish list, let alone your cart. How is it that this item was in stock when I purchased it and now out of stock just like that? I went on to point out that the information on their website is misleading and I have a problem with that. We're in the middle of January and I have yet to receive my items nor have I been contacted about the status of my order, and the RSS is only showing my order was processed. This is unacceptable and poor customer service. Look, I get that we are still in the midst of a pandemic and that it has an influence on logistics, transportation, etc. because of this, amongst other variables in place, it is paramount that you communicate clearly with your patrons. It's not enough to have great products when your customer service is marginal at best, and I still have not received my items. Upon reception of my items (providing that I do not opt for a refund) I will not purchase from rogue again. Sorry, not sorry.
Since the pandemic started, I have purchased two different barbells from Rogue. I first purchased the Bella Bar 2.0 since they didn't have much in stock at the time. Later I purchased the Ohio Power Bar. The first bar I ordered arrived quickly and have had no issues with it since I started using it. The 2nd bar I ordered was actually delivered to the wrong address by UPS. When I reached out to customer service, they offered to send a replacement. Luckily my barbell arrived the next day so I made sure to cancel the replacement shipment right away. I would definitely order from them again if there is the option to use another carrier besides UPS. UPS is horrible with their fake delivery attempts and misdeliveries.
Bait and switch. I ordered a pull-up bar on December 9th that showed it would arrive before Christmas, but it never arrived. I specified the metal finish that their website said would ship on time as opposed to my first choice that had a much later delivery time. I watched as the UPS app showed the label created, but not shipped. They didn't ship it until just before Christmas and of course it hasn't arrived. They "customer support" is trying to put the blame on me, but they clearly pulled a fast one on me. This company's reviews clearly represent their ineptitude and poor service.
Extremely unprofessional customer service. There was an issue with my address and they mentioned they cannot do anything on their end. I asked them to keep the rope and refund me for it. It's been 6 phone calls and countless emails, they kept saying the earlier rep did not process it correctly and I should get my money in a week (for every phone call). Never got my money. Definitely a fraudulent business.
I have a garage full of Rogue Kettlebells and equipment. I've been using them for approximately 5 years and have recommended them to many others. Never again!
I ordered 6 new 'Made in the USA' kettlebells and when they showed up they look like a bad high school project.
They have indents, defects all over the handles and horns which are not hand friendly.
I've contacted Rogue numerous times and tried to post a 1 star review which still has not been posted and Rogue will not respond to my emails. Wonder why their kettlebells have 4.9 star ratings? They won't post negative reviews.
Look elsewhere.
Placed order on 11/16/2020. Sent an email checking status on 11/30. Was told order has 30 days to ship. On day 31 I sent an email because order has not shipped. Now they are saying they don't know when the order will ship. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because they were quick to reply to my emails and you can't go lower than 1 star.
Ordered the wrong bar, sent it back for exchange or money back, rogue received the bar I sent bar last week, I got not emails back from anyone and no refund put back on my card, poor service
One of the worst purchasing experiences in my 30 yr purchasing career, Over 2 months trying to order a simple 10 item order even after giving them the list with item #'s off their own site. 3-5 days to get a response so it takes a month to answer a question. Quoted wrong twice & now a month after it's been paid for it's picked wrong. So this no doubt will take at least another month to correct (if lucky!) Terrible service folks. Run don't walk away from this company if you are looking for an easy order process. Can't comment on quality because oh yeah, don't even have the order yet! Will 100% never order from this company again.
So I bought my wife a Rogue Echo bike tonight, and wanted to add some items to the shipment. I wanted to buy the shield for the air system (on backorder so no purchase there) then a phone holder and a water bottle holder. Both items I did wish to purchase totaled $14.00. The shipping for these two items SURPRISE $9.00 and change. I tried to speak with a customer service person and as nice as she was (really nice) she would not take the shipping fees off "it is corporate policy". What a shame. Spend almost $850.00 and have to pay shipping on $14.00. Okay I get it you want to make the money, so do I and shipping two simple items and paying for it is not what I like to do. So try making corporate decisions like how to get customers to recommend you for friends and family. Now that is important, and this one is not going to do that to anyone.
When I went to return it, their website would not print me a return authorization. The message said, they did not know who I was. $50 down the drain. Walmart sells them for $15.75 with free shipping!
I bought 4 Military 45 lbs plates and they showed up defective, i sent them back for a exchange only to get ripped off $264.00 for shipping/handling that they wouldnt not credit me for after CS said they would.
I even wrote a letter to the CEO and nothing.
Pretty messed up for a place that i spent a couple grand in exercise equipment to do that to anyone let alone someone that spent alot of money with them. Horrible CS..
I have been going back and forth with rogue for 60 days about the $1500 in equipment I ordered and it still not shipping even though all items were listed in stock. Rogue accepted payment immediately and a message that said there could be a 5-7 day delay on shipping. Here it is 60 days later and my items haven't even been updated to prepared for shipping. I contacted their customer service the day after ordering to ensure the items I ordered were the correct ones and I was told "it is all compatible and you have all of the required parts!" Again 60 days later I ask what the update on my order is and request a refund on my shipping fees because I did not pay for 60 day shipping and they respond with "your parts aren't even compatible so would you like to just cancel your order?" I respond "no what are my other options?" Rogue responds "you could hire a contractor to drill holes to make your equipment work."
I bought some of their items to help with mobility (battlestar). Took awhile to go ahead as their prices are so high. Unlike most of the complaints here, my stuff actually showed up but how it was shipped was a rip off. Whoever packed it looked they just threw it in the box as there was no packing material at all. It was put in a container that was 4 times bigger than it needed to be so I ended up paying more shipping than I would have. Couple of emails back and forth with customer service was a waste of time. The message from them was clearly that as long as you got your stuff you should buzz off. After having read all the other reviews about stuff never showing up I can now see why their bar of customer satisfaction is so low.
I'll be honest - I am a little surprised by the negative reviews on here for this company. Given that customer service is something that is judged on the aggregate and not individual basis, I leave it up to you to do your own research, but my experience with Rogue Fitness was great. I ordered the Rogue Echobike to be delivered to Ontario, Canada and it took 15 days from entering the order online to showing up at my door.
The website was clear that due to COVID-19, shipping was delayed 5-7 days. They have both an app and a page on their website where you can track your order status. Indeed, for about a week my order stayed under the status of "Processed". And then a few days later, it was shown as Picked, Quality Controlled and then Shipped. Shipping is from Ohio and so it didn't have too far to travel but still managed to get across an international border in around 2 weeks. It is a ~140lb box.
UPS made a typo of my phone number and so the shipping status said they had left me a message to arrange a time to deliver it but I was not getting any voicemails. I emailed Rogue's support and they replied within a day, saying that they were inquiring with UPS about the status and would get back to me. I ended up calling UPS myself right after because I was so impatient and they told me about the typo, I gave them the correct number and the shipment arrived the next day. I let Rogue Support know that we figured out the issue and they told me to follow up and let them know when the bike arrived and if I had any other issues.
The Echobike arrived in perfect condition. As for the product - I love it. Having scoured the market for comparable exercise bikes, I found the price to be right, and the quality seems exceptional (though that will be judged in a few years after some wear and tear). I am very happy with the product and company. I notice many of the poor reviews here were during the summer where I am sure they were both being inundated with crazy demand for home exercise products and having to deal with COVID-19 lockdowns and fewer employees to run the operations. My order date was October 9 and delivered October 24, and it seems like their supply chain is doing better now.
Bought a block and ball kit. Only got the block. When I purchased the item, nowhere did it say balls sold separately. Another customer posted the same complaint.
Absolutely terrible customer service from Mikael at Rogue EU.
I ordered over 700 euros worth of Rogue weight plates and paid 60 euros for delivery but the plates arrived damaged and in terrible condition.
They were poorly packaged and sent as 9 different packages.
Out of the 9 packages 8 were damaged - 3 were so badly damaged I could not bring myself to accept them even though I require them asap.
I am currently going through a terrible experience with Mikael at ROGUE EU who selectively responds to my questions via email and seems to have little interest in resolving the damaged done, how poor the packaging was and the delivery charge.
I bought a pair of wagon wheels. Despite them being in stock they took four weeks to ship. But I never received them. UPS called to arrange delivery on one-day notice. Since I wasn't going to be home, my wife spoke to UPS who offered to leave the 130-pound box on the street—that is, right where my trash is picked up and where other neighbors leave things with signs like "Free. Take me."
Since that was unacceptable she refused delivery and the item was returned to Rogue. Rogue will not refund shipping charges saying we had plenty of time to cancel the order. So, we're disputing this with our credit card.
I will never again buy from this shady company. If you're going to charge a premium for your products, offer premium service, not 48-minute wait times on hold and then a refusal to refund returned items.
Answer: Ordered an Echobike to Toronto, Canada. 15 days from order to delivery, no issues whatsoever. Prompt customer service replies, item arrived in perfect condition and I am very happy with the product itself.
Answer: Yes, Titan Fitness has similar gear that is really nice but they don't always have things in stock.
