I opened my account with Robinhood in February 2021 and after depositing a large amount of money from my own checking account they froze my account. I have no way of accessing my money. Almost $2000. I have went to the BBB even and still nothing. I was told to contact my bank but when I did that they said there was nothing they could do. Robinhood has to just send the amount back to my account. Now here it it July 2021 and I still don't have my money. Do NOT USE THIS SITE! They will freeze your account and then keep your money locked up for no reason. They claimed that they couldn't verify who I was but I had sent them a picture of me with my drivers license and my SS card. They still claim that I couldn't be verified. This site is bull$#*!! They are crooked and will just steal your money.

I created an account with a small $500 investment. I traded a few stocks and cryptos. I tried to login for the 2nd time and was locked out of my account for no reason. I could not get back in for over a week and there is no help except for an automated email response. There is no one to call. I finally was able to get back into my account and then my account was hacked and someone tried to withdraw $1,000 from my personal savings account (the same account I used to open my Robinhood account). It has now been over a month and I still cannot get into my Robinhood account. I have asked over 5x to have my account closed and no one will help me. I have no idea what has happened to my initial investment.
They have automated emails and continue to reply to me without addressing anything I have asked them to do. DO NOT USE THIS APP. There are others that will work much better. I have been scammed by this app and will tell everyone about my experience.

Their site is nothing but bots. There are no live support personnel. If you're lucky, you MAY get an automated email response after 8-10 weeks. Stay away!

Unable to trade
June 23, 2021

1st off they are not commission free they charge more than price to buy or sell. I have been unable to trade for 3 days they say they are working on it can't buy and have funds available have lost more than $1000 in 3 days while all they say is they are working on it beware this is not a quality trading co. Have pulled my money out and will be closing my account and my wife and son also a lot better fish in the sea.

I used RH to purchase some crypto on May 20th, 2021. I linked my bank account and authorized a #1000 one time purchase. A few weeks later I noticed that RH had taken $1000 out of my account on May 24th not once, but 4 times! Unauthorized. Wow, this company is stealing money and using it to leverage itself. A total scam and fraud tactic. Don't ever use them. Unless you want them to steal your money.

Spoilt my phone

My phone started random restarting and I lost all my data as phone had to factory reset. I ended up replacing my phone. There was no good support from Robinhood and app is not fixed yet.

First off when it comes to purchasing stocks Robin hood does a good/ok job. However please PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT need a reason to contact support or order the card for cash management. I've ordered the re-issuance of my cash management card TWO MONTHS AGO and HAVE YET to receive my new card (June 18th 2021). OH and support ARE ABSOLUTELY NO HELP they email you once and then say they're going to close your account if you don't reply within a couple of minutes. Your "Buying Power" when you exit your trade/investment isn't available to return to your bank, (at least I wouldn't know because support keeps throwing my cases out the window"). You have to re-invest your buying power balance back into another stock. So the amount you decide to enter into your buying power you better not hope to see that hit your account again. If you decide to open an account SOLELY DO IT TO INVITE CONTACTS TO RECEIVE YOUR FREE STOCKS LITERALLY THE ONE AND ONLY THING THAT'S GOOD ABOUT ROBIN HOOD BUT DO NOT ADD FUNDS TO YOUR ACCOUNT AND DO NOT REGISTER TO RECEIVE YOUR CASH MANAGEMENT CARD AND PLEASE DO NOT NEED A REASON TO CONTACT ROBIN HOOD SUPPORT BECAUSE WHATEVER YOUR ISSUE IS THEY'RE JUST GOING TO THROW IT OUT THE WINDOW AND FORGET ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS BECAUSE ITS YOUR PROBLEM NOT THEIRS. Do your due diligence and find another broker to handle your investment accounts.

I was lock out of my Robin Hood account on June 3, it took 26 email to get access to my account on June 11. When I got back in all my money was gone. On June 3 at 11:45 all my stocks were sold around 5K. Someone the got a Debit card added to my account around the same time. They then transfer the funds to the Debit card and made 3 purchases to the Apple store in New York. The device history show my account was accessed Jun 2nd from Chino Hill CA, and on June 3 from San Jose, CA. Kind of odd that is the same location as Robinhood is located so this has to be an inside Job.

Would Run Away From Robin Hood if you have money invested.

Several months ago I was looking for an alternative type of bank where I could have my direct deposits made and possibly make a little extra on the side I came across Robinhood.com at first it all was well but then after one small security issue I have been locked out of my account they are holding over $1000. 00 of my money leaving me stranded out of state sleeping in my car and not even a phone number to call and get any assistance. Its been 3 months hundreds of e-mails later and still nothing from them willing to help return my money to me

RUN! They are thieves & if they lock your account they hold it like ransom ware. They will request that you pay them the full amount of your investments including any profits to unlock. They make you send it to MoonPay which is in Malta & will charge you more for transfer fees. Then you have to wait weeks for them to unlock the account & weeks after that before "they promise" to refund the money you sent. Moonpay's site clearly states there are no refunds but, Robinhood doesn't care as long as they get your money. They refuse to talk to you by phone & when you ask questions about why they tell you generic responses that never answer your questions. Say you a a regular person that wants to start trading with small amounts of money. Then when your account is locked you do not have the money to send. Well, then they just keep your money with no explanation. They are a complete fraud & are not helping but, taking advantage of you.

Robinhood either approves your account immediately, or tells you through messages/emails to upload your bank statements or utility bills, over and over again with no end for weeks, neither approving your application or denying it. Efforts to speak with someone or asking for a return email never happens; they only respond that they need an upload of those documents as thought they don't have many uploaded copies already. They are discriminating based on financial class and avoiding the issue by keeping your status in limbo. There is no phone contact, no live person to communicate with, and no person of record to serve or a legal department via the web. No one will answer your questions and no one will get back to you. BUYER BEWARE!

Dont Do it!

First and foremost the site does not have every stock available on the market. The money that you deposit into your brokerage account takes 5 days pending. This is all while you are trading, so the actual money that you are owed will never be accurate if you are active in regards to trading. When you have an issue, you cant call anybody to get it resolved. I was skeptical of Robinhood, and I was right to be. Deactivating my account as soon as I can.

Beware of this cheating platform and never buy ETC on RBH!
I bought ETC on RBH on 5/6 at cost $181.89 and on 5/7 at cost $168.50 per coin. The cost on Webull and global average at that times were about $156 and $143 respectively (as cost in RBH is higher than other platforms around $20-$25 per coin).
I've traded with RBH many times and know that though RBH cost is higher, its selling price is also higher proportionally ($20-$25 higher than other platforms for ETC). However, today I checked it and see that the cost in Webull and global average is about $128, but the selling price in RBH is only $130 (it should be around $153). Now I lost a lot of money due to this shady practice. Beware and don't lose your money they are cheating customers!

I put over a few hundred dollars in a new cryptocurrency and I can't even get back on my account do not use this website it's a piece of $#*! and honestly I've never been through like this by secure webpage ever ever I am guessing a whole bunch of money and dodge coin refresher light them up the amount of money I put in and now I can't even access the account please contact someone at Robin Hood and tell them. Wait you can't because it's impossible to actually get in touch with good customer support don't join *******@gmail.com is my email If anyone at Robin Hood and would like to contact me about it I've already contacted with my private attorney about the matter

The worst customer service I ever seen. I referred one of my friends to robinhood and he opened an account
And got approved. He invested 200$ and for some reason his account is not working. He contacted customer service several times and was asked to email his informations and he did However nothing is changed yet. Every time he email them they asks him his info for almost 3 months, whichis tge same question over and over.

I will never trust them with my money again. They need a customer service phone number asap and I can't believe they lasted this long with the horrible customer service they have. I had a debit card through them for maybe a few months before fraud Amazon charges started showing up on my account. It took them days to respond to emails while my money was gone. I disputed these charges and the electronic form I was sent was very glitchy/broken. Shortly after that, I started getting contacted by a fake debt collector that harassed me for months to "collect a debt on behalf of Amazon" and it didn't take long to figure out who they had collected my personal information from.

I've been communicating with their customer service for 17 emails + now and they have literally done not one thing to assist me. The agents are very sassy and seem to not do anything unless you word your request in the exact specific format that they want. Still waiting for my issue to be resolved with no end in sight.
