I have been on Robinhood a while and I do enjoy using it (unless my stocks are falling lol). I like having control over my stocks personally but I suggest that people start slow because no matter who you use to trade, the stock market can go really well or really bad. The key is researching anything you plan to invest in as much as you can before buying any stock (things might look better/worse once you put some hours into learning more).
The good is that I have control over my stocks and in my experience, response time to my emails has been good (I do have a large chunk of money with them and I am unsure if that effects anything).
The downside is site glitches. The worst is when I can not log in for a while but thankfully it gets resolved quickly most of the time and it is pretty rare.
Please don't try it if you haven't. You will lose your money and they don't even have a customer service number. They have millions ways of stealing using the app and there's no one to reach for help
Not interested to settle your sell but will take your money in seconds. Make so many millions but cannot settle a few dollars that's what the super rich is sucking hard working peoples money that's how they become rich.
I am moving on really bad co don't open account with them.
The worst platform and company I have ever seen with this important thing which is investing and money they should at least have a customer service phone number to call but this robinhood never even answer your email or message, and you can't get a prove quicker they saying your application take up to 5 days to be approved now it's 6 days and no answer, also they want you to transfer funds through access your online banking from their platform? What a joke!

My account was frozen when I reported fraud. It has taken 3 months for them to resolve it as they have NO TELEPHONE CUSTOMER SERVICE and they typically only respond to an email ONCE A WEEK! I could've interacted with them by pony express quicker. I have now requested to transfer my stocks to a different brokerage and they want to charge $75 per each stock transfer. WHAT A RIP OFF! Buyer Beware. Stay away from Robinhood
I invested some money back in September, thankfully not too much. Now I am locked out of my account. I believe it was hacked. They are asking me for documentation/proof of who I am that I need to send them. I then looked up reviews and found this has happened to many people using Robinhood. It's frustrating because you can't talk to someone from customer support, it's all via email.
You swipe at one price you think you are going to get and it gives you a different price they RIP you off and costumer service makes excuses why you got screwed
Received a notification that my stocks were sold and money was to be deposited into a REVOLUT account. I contacted them with plenty of time to halt the transaction, changed password. They auto reply came back we are looking into this. Every morning I email... no reply. I've contacted BBB and the SIPC. I have screen shots of everything. PLEASE secure your money get it out of Robinhood!
Dont use their app. By doing so you are risking every penny of what you put in their app. I lost my entire lives savings and they did nothing, and forced me to email them over 50 times to hear back from them. The only way to contact them in case of emergency is through freaking emails. And their customer support is not only the worst of all other brokerages. But i kid you not, its the worst of any company i have ever seen ever period. I lost over 6 thousand dollars. Sent over 50 emails freaking out. I didnt hear back from them for over TWO WEEKS. I WAS IN THE DARK WAITING TO HEAR ABOUT MY ENTIRE LIVES SAVINGS FOR TWO WEEKS. And the email that they finally responded to me with. Was the tipping point. Not only did they not help me, they didnt even care. And then they didnt even tell me what happened. It's unacceptable that a company this rich could be allowed to operate. Its completely fraudulent. Dont risk it for the pretty design, use a real broker. A real company. Robinhood should be completely shut down.

DO NOT get the debit card with Robinhood and Sutton bank. They are extremely easily hackable and I had my hacked with. 3 days of receiving it.

My experience with Robinhood today was the worst business experience I have ever had. I wanted to sell a call and Robinhood had put a setting on my account so I couldnt sell consequently I lost over $140. Panicking I tried to contact Robinhood with no response for almist an hpur with was ny email, they have no phone number you can use. Basically they just said there was no problem on their end after I emailed them about 20 times! They do NOT have their customers best interest as a priority at all and I would suggest using another trading platform, any other trading platform if you wish to protect your investments.
My stocks worth *******$ were sold and the money was moved to some revolut account in 10 mins. I tried to call the robinhood customer care within the 10 mins of the transaction happened. But it doesn't work. We only need to sent email. I have sent tens of emails to cancel the transaction, as it was in the pending state. I got an email that we are looking into the issue but they didn't cancel the transaction. Now the transaction is completed am my money is gone. No reply yet from customer care. Don't know how to proceed with the complaint or take legal action. Kindly suggest.
He has done nothing but lie to me. Go back on his employees word. At this point I have been trying to remove my funds for over a week now and they will not allow me too. They have been holding $1500 of mine hostage during a national shutdown for over a week. My wife and I both lost our jobs do to the shut downs and I thought well ok I'll just sell my stocks to hold us over till we can find work. Well at this point our power will be getting shut tomorrow because of there lies, we haven't been able to go grocery shopping. All they keep doing is switching me around, living to me and refusing and or keep extending the time for me to be able to put my funds back into my account. I have spent all week emailing back and forth from the time they open till the time they close and there story just keeps changing. I would highly suggest taking your business elsewhere!
My TSLA Call option was rejected by the bank due to its' expensive nature, as my bank tries to protect me. I was unable to get anyone in customer service on the phone or even online to help rectify the matter.
To make it worse, robinhood declared the money margin, and is now taking interest on the money.
To top it off, they sold my Call option without my consent while it was coming into the money, but was still at a loss. It would have made me a decent amount of money, but instead, posted a $500 loss, and has given me an extraordinary headache with the bank.
STAY AWAY. Use a better brokerage that doesn't fail on high volume days when reliability is a must. This is the last strike against me with this company. They are bandits.
I have been loced out of my account for 30 days now. My account has seem to vanish. They keep telling me there is no account linked to my email. I have over a hundred emails linked to this email showing all my transactions. There customer service is horrible. All they do is give you the run around. Dont trust them with your money.

Robinhood's website technology is extremely bad and worst is their customer service. I created an account and added my bank info. After 4 days of waiting I finally received the two micro deposits. When I went to their website to verify my deposits, the site stated that the amounts were incorrect even though they were correct. When I reached out by email to their customer and explained my situation I received message that I needed to entered my bank account info and wait for the micro deposits even though I fully explained what had happened. I rewrote message two more times and received from two other reps basically the same response. I believe their customer service may be outsourced to a different country. A new question poses. Do you really want to trust your financial information to an institution that sends your financial information to other countries? BTW, I do have copies of my email messages sent to Robinhood.
I am certain there will be a major class action lawsuit in which this company will tank due to its delays in trading and significant glitches, not to mention obvious branches that are occurring that they cannot even keep up with. Trust me when I tell you to run like you're on fire and save your money.

Answer: No you don't get help, i've sent 10 emails since 10 days ago and now freaking replies. Never traded on margin or options and initiated a transfer out of robinhood yet they didn't move everything and now say I owe them money. Plus things I sold out completely on 1/27 showed up in my Merrill account on 2/2 BUT at a way higher price than I paid. So such a scam and they will never help you
