I signed up for a free trial to show my teenager how to make a resume. The trail ended and the service began billing - no problem, I missed the cancel date thats on me. The problem is they were sending the receipts to the email IN the resume, not the account email. I was charged 10 months of service and had no idea until I noticed it on my statement and went investigating. It took multiple reach outs to chat to figure out what the charge was for, since they showed no account under the email I was getting the receipt at - because its not the account email! Chat support refunded 3 months, and said leadership would follow up. They did, and said they could find no account under the email - they were STILL looking under the wrong email, like they hadnt even read the problem. They then did not respond to my email reply. I reached again in chat today, and the agent refused to connect me with a supervisor and just explained to me how a subscription works. WENDY was not helpful and just spat out prewritten macros. The subscription was NEVER used, NEVER logged into. Resume Genius STOLE $167.65 from me and I'll dispute every single charge. I might not win it back, but they'll NEVER win me back and I'll spend the rest of my life letting the professionals I know that they are thieves and scammers. Here are some competitors to try: Topstack Resume, My Perfect Resume, Zety, LiveCareer, Resume Now, and MS Office has a powerful tool suite.

Easy I like it. It was easy to do. I like that. It had extra prompt to where I was able to click and choose to fill it in for me without me having to fill it in for myself.

It was overall a great experience. However, the listing said the services would be free & it was not until the very end of the process that I was forced to make a purchase, or all would be lost.

This website had very nice professional templates to choose from, and its affordable compared to myperfectresume. Giving 4 stars because the site kept crashing periodically as i was working on my resume, thankfully it saves progress. It is possible it was my computer and not this website. I would definitely use this site again!
