I don't think its fair you do all that work and have to still buy the template if it said free but the templates help a lot. Still there should be at least one general free downloadable template.
Information from my CV builder got mixed up with my resume builder. And the information I deleted in the building section of my resume was still put on the final copy

The FAQ on the website states that the service is free, but the journey to download the file forces you into an "upgrade to pro" screen from which the only return is to close the tab, which means losing your work. They essentially hold hostage the file your worked on for an extended period of time, and force you to choose between losing it and signing up for one of two subscription services.
I reluctantly paid but will cancel the first chance I get.
Shame that they built it in this cunning way since the CV templates and the whole mechanism is actually great.
