Service was deceptive so l canceled after one very poorly formatted resume and naturally they charged my card for an ongoing subscription for $23.95 monthly. Who in their right mind would pay that every month for one resume? NOTHING is free as they claim except a plain text version of the resume. ( Who needs them for THAT?) And then even when you cancel right away they start billing your card. I am going to dispute it at my bank and report them to FTC

If I could give zero stars I would...Wasted at least 2 -3 hours revising & revamping my resume based on their own Q&A (see below - per their website), only to be met with a paywall as soon as I went to download my resume.

They trick you to spend hours building a resume claiming its free in the beginning then refusing to download it later without paying money.
I feel resumebuilder.com is a deceptive website. It looks very trustworthy, minimalistic, and modern, and it shows you all kinds of resumes it can "help" you create. When you look deeper though, this is an extremely skeletal, and low quality service considering you have to pay. There are ALL kinds of problems that I noticed on my first session using the site.
I have included pictures below, of how differently the resumes come out when you export them. To be honest, it's a bit sad. The picture with the navy blue text is how it looked on their site, the horrific yellow text document is what it spit out. For a (honestly kind of expensive) paid service, this is pathetic.
Customer service on this site is non existent, and it is mostly impossible to get in touch with anyone. That's where the deceptive nature comes in. This site looks really modern, but has almost nothing in terms of forums, FAQs, customer support, any kind of meaningful help. Pair that with the laundry list of problems that occur with regular use of this site, it is a nightmare.
I actually feel scammed, as this program has literally no options. It is unbelievable in 2023 you are not able to choose to export in 8.5x11. This site will only export in 8.26 × 11.69 in, which is not the standard in the US, and I could see this causing BIG problems for people. The fact that it won't even spit out a resume in the correct size is one of the saddest things I've seen in a resume builder.
You have very little control over font size, NO control over spacing, very little control over anything. For something that is supposed to make this process easy, this website is extremely confusing and lacks important features present in the most simplistic software.
I felt really ripped off by this service, and I would highly discourage use of it.

I purchased the resume builder Pro to improve my resume. The preview before downloading looks different than the final product. The builder also does not add spaces between location and work dates. Very unprofessional

Resume experience is fine overall. Lose your password however, nothing they do about it. They say they will send you an email to reset the password. WELL WHERE IS THE $#*!ING EMAIL?

This is a great app. I can say that it's a great way to start, and maintain an always upto date resume. If I change jobs or careers in the future this is what I'll be using for my resume.
I contacted them in regards to charging me $59 after I had cancelled my 7-day "free" trial (it wasn't actually free like they said, it's $1.95). I filed a dispute for the charges and tried to contact them in regards to it, and they locked me out of my account and would not send me the reset password email.
Thanks to Alex I was able to submit my resume to an important employer he made sure I was successful and stayed on the phone with me through my entire complicated process I really appreciate him he was outstanding!
