Poorest customer service from phone to driver. Trash sat out for a week Tuesday July 7-11; 2-3 calls per day inquiring when it would be picked up. Each time I called I was told they would return the following day.
Driver came a week later July 11; picked up canister but not the bag sitting in front. We had no place to put current trash. He pulled off. I followed and asked for an explanation.
Robert #2380 said he didn't get notice to come back last week; they don't get trash not in dumpster. "I don't know what to tell you".
I have never had this from any trash co. HORRIBLE!
This place is a joke! First took them 2 months to get me a can then they missed 3 weeks in a row so then I cancel they don't get their can again for 2 and a half months this time and now 5 months later just got a $162 bill from a creditor bc republic services never sent me anything at all and today I just spoke to them and them have nothing to say other then $#*! me! So no $#*! them they will pay in the end karmas a $#*! watch your trucks gonna start breaking down now you slime balls!…. It's making me give them 1 star but I don't give them $#*! DONT USE REPUBLIC SERVICES! FRS "Let's Go Republic Services"!
As a result of my invoices steadily jumping $$ without any warning, I called to cancel this service 2 months ago. Eight weeks and five phone calls later (several on hold for nearly 30 minutes), my service still hasn't been cancelled and I keep getting bills and now I have several late fees added on. I'm getting sick of this. Horrible customer service.
Horrible service and prices. They wanted to charged me 700 dollars just to transfer chabge my service's address and I órdenes 2 special pick up for my container paid Almost 40 dllrs each time when ordered and one week later they charged me Almonte 500 dlls more. Rateros!
I tried to cancel on the 5th and was told I had to pay for July, even though they haven't picked up yet this month. Then was told i had to pay $72 to pick up 2 garbage cans. They asked before all this if they could do anything to keep my service. Now I will never do business with them again! Stay away from this company
Terrible company to have service you. They refuse to empty my recycling bin because someone else dumped a ton of their nasty trash into my bin. They want me to empty it myself. I live in a not so good area and lord knows what could be in the trash. I will not stick my hands into nasty rotten maggot filled trash that could possible have needles in it.
So apparently in our neighborhood if it doesn't fit in the bin the garbage guys can't get out of the truck walk two feet and toss it in the truck. People are getting lazier on the job everyday. It doesn't even 10 seconds. All the drivers do is sit in their truck on their asses and get fat.
I just want the service I'm paying for. My trash has been left several times, and Im told they'll come tomorrow. They pick up across the street? Like WTH?

Republic bought out Gallegos Sanitation. I have tried to reach a person at republic to cancel service due to a move and no one ever answers the phone or messages left on the web site. Worst of the worst in customer service. I am paying for trash collection because there is no way to cancel it. Next step, stop payment on cc. So frustrating.
Never answers phone. Waited over 30 minutes. This is not my first rodeo with them not answering. They want you to work with them online but then their program doesn't work they don't give you a whole lot of choices and options I do not recommend them.
Ever since we moved to our new home, we been dealing with our bins being damaged by drivers... trash on the street that we had to pick up ourselves... we been waiting since wed for our green bin to be empty out but nothing... seriously disappointed and how expensive things are right now they seriously need to get there **** together before more customers cancel their services
For the last 8 months I have been trying to end service with Republic Services because we tore down our house. Returned our container and have not have garbage picked up for 8 months.
They actually owed me credit back since we prepaid with auto deduct, and therefore needed 2 months refunded. Customer service agreed they see we stopped service, they noticed we returned cart, but would not stop billing. It is still an ongoing situation that is very frustrating and I still need help to bring and end this somehow.
I talk to multiple people when I call every 2-3 weeks and each one has said they took care of my billing issue, they end the call giving me "confirmation number" that means absolutely nothing when I do my follow up call.
Please never use let Republic Service!
If you call be prepared to wait on the phone for at least 30 minutes for someone to answer! When they do they will lie to you about when they will pickup and still expect you to pay for no service rendered called 3 times this week got 3 different lies!
I had republic waste services for many years, but come to find out today we are paying double compared to our neighbors. Today I called to cancel the service and they are charging 30 dollars/ can for can removal after the service is canceled. For home service, please call around and talk to your neighbors before signing up with republic service. My first clue should have been that everyone else in the neighborhood has a black container with a red lid, except us.
I would not refer this company to anybody,. They use my driveway to turn those big trucks around,. ( For over year) then when I needed to buy material to fix the ruts,. They wouldn't reimburse me,. All they did was start using someone else's property to damage,. I guess being in the trash business, I shouldn't have expected any morals
It is prime time for yard clean up and they missed 2x in June 2022 already? Claiming they sent an e-mail at 9:00. We are supposed to have yard waste out the night before? So it rained and the bags got soggy- their recycling truck stabbed one of the bags tipping over another causing a mess. Next week they picked up. The following week no service again? What is the schedule on their website for and it says every week they pick up. We called customer service and they were rude. No return phone calls and no truck to come and get the bags that we pay for every month.
We just bought a house here in Marion and when I got my first bill of 345.00 I almost hit the floor. When I called to ask about my bill for these insane charges that they put on my bill, which one of them in the amount of 122.00 for total fuel / environmental recovery fee, I asked what this was and in a rude manner I was told that I'm to pay for the fuel of the trucks along with any tires or mechanical problems. I lost my ever loving mind. I asked why my neighbor was paying a different amount and I got NO answer. All I was told is it can either go up or down. Mind you they also never picked up our recycling twice. I was on hold for over 40 min and all I was told was that's the way it is. Needless to say I will be trying to find another provider. How can they get away with charging people different prices for the same fee. DO NOT USE THEM. Oh and I will be dropping the cans off myself. They want to charge me another 120.00 to pick them back up
Well, now today's Wednesday at 4:10 pm. Since Monday I've made 5 phone calls (each with a wait time of over 30 minutes) because of the inefficiency of this company, their reps, and drivers! And my green waste container is STILL sitting at the curb in front of my house! I absolutely HATE this company and their incompetent employees. Oh, and I DO pay my bill regularly and on time!
This crappy company bought out the locally owned company we used for over 15 years and the service and customer service are now absolutely horrible. If you call you're on hold for hours with no answer, and they don't even have a voicemail option. They constantly miss pick-ups and cancel all the time. Charging us monthly for a service that is super unreliable and spotty. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. If you even manage to get someone on the phone, they are rude and hardly helpful. I have been calling for over a week and still not been able to reach anyone.
Answer: Only company that offered recycling in our area but obviously an over priced scam since both bins were emptied into same truck.
