The overall reputation of the company is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived censorship and biased moderation practices. Many users express frustration over account management issues, such as difficulties in deleting accounts and unjust bans, which contribute to a sense of being silenced. While some appreciate the platform's diverse content and sense of community, the overwhelming sentiment is one of disillusionment with the site's environment, described as toxic and unwelcoming. This dichotomy highlights a pressing need for improved moderation transparency and user support to enhance the overall user experience.

There is nothing of value on this site other than the photo catalogs. All other catalogs are almost curated by a group of people. Any disagreement results in immediate downvoting. Which is interesting. If you look at the negative downvoted comments, you will find they are closer to the truth. Its a weird world to step into. Like everyone is robots.
Reddit used to be a site to see conversations outside the norm or pushing boundaries. Now since taken over the site is nothing more than propaganda pushing a single message. When r/pol was infiltrated, and people claimed hurt feelings were enough to censor and doctors message Reddit as a progressive platform changed; the powers that be realized that allowing people to spread information freely is dangerous, and the appeal is Reddit changed. Go to Reddit if you're trying to figure out what they say you should think.
Anything remotely non liberal, even if it isn't conservative, is heavily censored. They have an automated moderator that runs the site and immediately removes anything that contains certain words or phrases. It's also a huge alt left depraved circlejerk. There are even TONS of bots and paid shills that go around and pretend like they're ordinary people to try to sway the opinion of the people who browse such a dumb site. It's literally the degenerate leftist version of North Korea of the internet. No entertainment, just propaganda. But go figure, the (((evil ones))) are always the ones to push propaganda. Good people, good services, etc., don't push propaganda.
Great page if you want cat pictures and feel good stuff, terrible if you don't want propaganda and social agendas
Reddit pretends to be both the front page of the internet, and a proponent of free speech. You are allowed to speak freely if you are hard left leaning. They allow left wing subreddits to brigade, but refuse to all The_Donald to be on Reddit All.
Are you a normal person who wants to have your normal opinions constantly shifted to the left by an endless stream of peer pressure from faceless users who are likely bots or paid viral advertisers? Do you want your normal opinions quietly snuffed out without notification because they dont fit the left wing agenda of the sites moderators? Then Reddit is the place for you!
Reddit is owned by Advance Publications, a Jewish owned 8 billion dollar mass media corporation. True to Jewish Bolshevik Communist ideals, mass censorship, pushing agenda's, virtue signaling, manipulation of votes and ideas. It's brainwashing on a level not scene since the Jewish Bolsheviks Communists starved 20 million white men, women and children to death and then fabricated a story regarding the death of prisoners of war as some sort of worse tragedy, then created laws sending people to prison who questioned it. A story so heavily pushed in Jewish media that almost no one even knows about the true tragedy of those times, the Holodomor.
Reddit was once a bastion of free speech and refreshing debate. Then like everything that was once good, it became popular, and with that popularity came parasites who sought to control the narrative, paid for shills, corrupt moderators, no oversight to keep the default forums fair to even give the illusion of propriety. No, Reddit has become everything wrong with the internet. It's a microcosm of everything wrong with the world today, and like the world at large, they will experience the repercussions they deserve. Also the site redesign is horrible.
If you think there are infinite genders and that blowing yourself up in the name of Allah has nothing to do with Islam, this is the site for you. Literally everyone here will agree with you and pat you on the back for your virtue signaling. If you think for yourself and recognize that sometimes the truth isn't all rainbows and flowers, this isn't the place for you.
Biased towards the left and full of censorship. U/spez has openly admitted as much. Voat is a better (censorship wise) alternative for non-libtards.
They will post any depraved act you can think of and some you can't but if you disagree with them you comments will be downvoted and deleted.
Honestly, I don't understand all this hate against Reddit. It enforces communication & discussion among member, just post your thought to the right channel and follow the rules: you'll enjoy it!
Have deleted Reddit after 1 week. If you don't agree with the sheep then you get bullied and ridiculed. Horrible horrible site.
To any full grown adult out there interested in using the Reddit site please save yourself the trouble and check out other more useful sites like Quora, and even Y/A (which I know is outdated), but is so much more user friendly. Reddit like many have mentioned is an online interface filled with social rejects, harsh but true. These people, or in other words trolls will tear you down at any chance they get. Ask a serious question and they all come hounding you down and completely dismiss the question to simply make their point. I have also been in contact with those managing the sub-sections on Reddit and they could careless about your post/s.
I just started with Reddit a little over a day ago, as a newbie I am treated unfairly, everything I post gets removed. Everything I say gets removed. This is the worst app for newbies ever. The mods do not respond to anything I say to them.
My first contribiution, that met all the Reddit rules--an offering in 'Books' about the challenge for writers to get published--was blocked by the 'house bot' as spam. Contesting this, I offered my website as proof of being a person, not spam. The troll/moderator, going by a pseudonym (of course), then claimed that this was self promotion, whereas it was only my proof of not being spam. My website was not mentioned in the offering. No attempt to apply reason or logic penetrated this pernicious behavior by the troll'moderator.
For better insights, the March article in The New Yorker provides a clear picture, as verified by other reviews, of a cruel and intellectually violent medium that has a long and unpleasant history of crude trolling of the most unpleasant kind. In retrospect, I wish I had never attempted to engage with them.
I can't even freaking post for 6 minutes after having to redo my question twice already for not meeting it's specific af criteria of a question. I just want some freaking help with my problem and reddit won't let me ASK.
Simply love reddit, is one of the easiest ways to get reliable information and quickly.
If you want to look for a job, it also serves that purpose. Just join, do not ask.
I ran one ad using reddit and only authorized a charge of $20.00. After two weeks, I saw another charge for $18 and some change, I did not authorize this charge so I was confused. I went onto ads.reddit.com and tried to remove my card number from the website, the only option I saw was update, so to remove my card I was being forced to add another card, which I do not want to do because I do not wish to continue services with this company. I tried to find a number to call Reddit and was unable to do so on the website and on google. I tried to email customer support and received no guidance on how to remove my card. I called my card issuer Capital One and we three way called Reddit to get help in removing my card. Not only did Reddit customer service hang up on me once, they did it twice. Each representative gave the same phone number to call, which was the same number that we were speaking to. They yelled at me and continued to say they do not have another phone number and they will call back. All I was asking to do was remove my card. This is fraud, what company makes it impossible to remove a credit card from?
DO NOT USE THEM.
Just started to post on reddit.com. A bit scary and shocked. First this website gives you the impression to be very correct. It is not. Moderators run this website like a junta. They block post for whatever reason. The overall attitude is very bad. Bashing, trashing and trolling. Only negative posts gets all the karma. Most members imo are college students or youngster in their early twenties/thirties. Not the most social group. Very nasty and picky. Scary
Answer: Absolutely cancer. Unless you're an NPC without a brain of your own.
Answer: Use sitejabber, much better. Since they don't make you jump through hoops to post a review and they don't censor negative reviews. TONS of bad sites online. TONS of corrupt sites. Clean up the internet. Break up these monopolistic companies.
Answer: Don't trust reviews from reddit because the site is censored to get rid of negative reviews. Censored by corrupt moderators and admins.
