This site is a scam. Advertised $2.95 for 7 days of unlimited access and then went on to charge me $24.95 after the 7 days. Initially, there was no mention of those 7 days being a trial period. They snuck that in with small print during the checkout hoping to slide by unnoticed and collect their $24.95. I cancelled immediately after the charge (being unaware I had signed up for a trial), and wrote in requesting a refund, as I will not be using this service. Their customer service was demeaning and unhelpful.

Nice quick and easy.
One thing I didn't like is the monthly subscription. Should have an option for a one off purchase option. I know you can pay for one time purchase but it automatically sets up a reoccurring monthly payment.

I had a great experience with RecordsFinder customer service. I called because I was charged for a subscription although I thought that I was paying a one time fee, and I had entered the incorrect email where I was unable to see that I was subscribing for a service. I noticed the charge after a few days, and my customer service agent, Heshie, walked me through where there may have been confusion. I quickly realized that the mistake may have been on my end, and I was ready to accept that I had to give up the subscription fee lost. Heshie informed me that they were willing to refund me due to the unfortunate events that took place. I experienced some of the best customer service with this company.

Please allow me to explain why you have been charged, after taking a look at your account, it appears we have not received an email in regards to cancellation. Also, on the checkout page, it's the customer that must agree to billing terms. These terms clearly state that if the customer chooses to cancel their account within the trial period, the trial fee will be the only amount billed. If the account is not canceled after the trial period, the customer will be charged the monthly billing fee.
