Glasses NOTHING like the images, when I returned for a REFUND, they ILLEGALLY resent the item out, claiming I had selected a "replacement"!
AVOID THIS COMPANY, A DREADFUL SHODDY SELLER WHO I AM REFERRING TO UK TRADING STANDARDS!
Paid over £600 for some of the Ray Ban Meta smart glasses a year and half a go. A few weeks after getting them I went in the pool with them - as they said they were water proof - and they broke, but thankfully replaced them. A year after I had a similar situation and they are saying they wont fix them as they are not waterproof and their website now they they are only splash proof. Shocked they changed their website and don't even honor their '2 year warranty!' The customer service team is so poor, they admit they dont even have a complaints prosedure and the only was to make a complaint is to email them and they send on to their managers, no way to contact anyone but the random front line ages. I just don't know how this company has got so big and so famous when the aftercare is so poor. I certainly won't be buying again from them and thank God Meta have found a new supplier to make their smart glasses. I will go down the legal route to get my money back, bad ending to purchase I loved so much for months.
I bought a pair of sun glasses less than a year ago for around $250. They fell out of my shirt when I bent over and broke both lens and one popped out. I've never had a pair of glasses brake this easy. I have a pair a $20 glasses I bought 2 years ago still in great shape and better quality. Contacted Ray Ban and they wont even repair them. I will never buy another pair of Ray Bans again. They have an F grade on BBB.
Bought these as a gift from my dad about 5 years ago at Cabelas, only wear them in the car as I have Rx glasses. Contacted Rayban about the edges of the lenses coming off, offered a ridiculously low price for replace. Put them back in my car, and now the lens is totally messed up. Always had Raybans when I was younger, but never again.
Brent Cross Shopping Centre/ London uk Appalling Customer Service – Avoid at All Costs If you value your time and hard-earned money, do yourself a favour and steer clear of this store. The lack of staff is beyond unacceptable — employees are visibly torn between basic human needs and serving customers. On multiple occasions, I witnessed the manager quite literally running away from the ringing phone, clearly overwhelmed and ill-equipped to handle even routine customer queries. The brand's disregard for customers, especially those from modest backgrounds who work hard to afford quality products, is deeply disappointing. Ray-Ban's customer service — at least at this location — is chaotic, disorganised, and shockingly indifferent. I ordered a pair of glasses and was told they'd arrive within a reasonable time frame. Sixteen days later, not only had my order not arrived, but it had apparently been "lost" in the mess that this store calls an operation. There was no follow-up, no apology, and certainly no accountability. Having long been a loyal Oakley fan, I regret ever stepping away. Both brands may fall under the same parent company, but Ray-Ban failed spectacularly to deliver even basic service standards. Let this be a lesson: flashy logos mean nothing if they're backed by poor ethics and no care for the customer. Avoid this shop — and perhaps Ray-Ban altogether — unless you enjoy being ignored, delayed, and disappointed.
I placed a order and paid for express shipping. The site did not indicate the product was not in stock. Ray ban took my money and due to s technical issue it's gonna take a week to get reimbursed.
I had a terrible experience with Ray-Ban and Klarna after returning a product and being denied my rightful refund, despite full compliance with Norwegian consumer laws.
I returned my Ray-Ban Meta glasses on November 15,2024, with full UPS tracking documentation confirming the shipment. On January 7,2025, Ray-Ban acknowledged that the return was sent, but they now claim they "cannot find it." Despite this, Ray-Ban refuses to issue my refund, violating Norwegian law:
The Right of Withdrawal Act (§ 24 and § 42) – Refunds must be issued within 14 days of return or documented proof of return.
The Consumer Purchases Act (§ 30) – If the consumer has returned the item, the seller is legally obligated to issue a refund.
I have contacted Ray-Ban customer service multiple times, only to receive vague responses that they are "checking with UPS." This is not the consumer's responsibility—once the item is documented as returned, the refund must be processed immediately.
Klarna is equally responsible as the payment service provider. By failing to intervene and process the refund despite clear legal obligations, Klarna is complicit in fraudulent business practices. Instead of protecting consumers, they are enabling companies to violate refund policies.
I strongly advise against shopping at Ray-Ban's online store and using Klarna as a payment provider. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will escalate my complaint to:
Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet)
Financial Complaints Board (Finansklagenemnda)
Social media and consumer complaint platforms
I will continue to post updates on Trustpilot and other review sites daily until my refund is issued. Avoid Ray-Ban and Klarna if you value your consumer rights! 👎🏼👎🏼
Bad company. They sent me an email from 5 days ago stating "Since your product was unable to be returned to us, we will immediately begin to process your refund. Please properly dispose of your RB Smart Glasses and or charging case based upon your local guidelines."
Now they're saying they require the damaged item to be returned after I disposed it. Shameful. I will dispute with my bank.
I recently acquired a pair of Ray-Ban men's sunglasses, and I must say, I'm absolutely thrilled with my purchase. The quality of these sunglasses is top-notch, with durable frames and lenses that provide excellent UV protection. They are stylish and iconic, offering superb clarity and glare reduction. The fit is comfortable, and they stay securely on my face even during outdoor activities. Overall, these Ray-Ban sunglasses have exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in search of premium eyewear.
This frames are made in Italy, but they are coming to be one of the worst frames ever purchased in my life, $ 300 plus for a pice of junk, they will not stay on, the screws they get loose all the time. I had purchased other frames under $100 better quality, People should stay a way from getting any of Ray Ban glasses
My Order Was Supposed To Be A 2 Business Day Delivery, It Took A Week! I Ordered Them For My Trip & It Didnt Get Here In Time, So I Had To Do A Same Day Pickup Order From BEST BUY!
So I Had To Pay An Extra $349.00 For The Glasses At BEST BUY After I Had Already Ordered & Paid For Them On Ray-Ban For $318.00! When I Finally Received My Order From Ray-Ban They Was Not What I Ordered!
The Customer Service Representatives Was No Help At All! I Will Never Order From Ray-Ban Again Nor Will I Ever Recommend Ray-Ban To Anyone!
After shopping all over So Cal and could not find Aviator sunglasses in solid brown, 55mm, I opted to order them on line. I was concerned with the lack of protection Ray Ban cases offer so I paid an extra $25 to get the "leather" case. What I received was an even flimsier case that WAS NOT LEATHER! I contacted RB, who said I needed to return the whole thing to get a regular case that should have been free anyway with the glasses. I'M NOT HAPPY! Maui Jim just earned my business back!
Loyal customer for two decades, placed an order on January 21st as a gift for my fiancé, heard nothing but crickets since then so today (10 days later) I hit up chat, they said "For what I can see, the order was processed, and you should receive it in up to 7 business days. We usually send the order before this time frame." NOTHING should take 17 days to receive in today's delivery climate and they should communicate better updates, not leave customers wondering what's going on. And, now it's too late as a gift. Epic fail.
In 2019, I bought CE frames from Lenscrafters. Three years later, the earpieces cracked and disintegrated from the frame. I spoke with Lenscrafters and was told too bad and given no alternative. If Ray Ban wants to claim their frames last for many years, then they need to stand by their products. These frames are trash.
I was scammed out of$500 by Rayban. Ordered the meta glasses which got lost in the mail. DHL confirmed in writing that the package was lost. Rayban's customer service was just awful to deal with. I was told I would get a refund in 3 weeks on chat, which I didn't. After weeks of following up, I called them and found out that the refund request wasn't even submitted. They asked I submit a form online which I did but again, nothing happened. I called back a few weeks later to find out that my refund request was denied with reason "this doesn't fall within our parameters for a refund". Not sure what that means but after reviewing their Better Business Profile, it seems they have scammed quite a few people.
Order sunglasses worth 11,000 didn't like the fitting tried creating a return request website was not letting me create a return, contacted customer support sent them 20 photos of the product and created a return request. They come back after 3 days that the product is damaged, they are cheating customers very poor experience.
This is the first time I ever experienced sunglass lenses peeling
Ray-Ban will not do anything because they indicated past 2 years but saw other review where the same issue of peeling happened and it was under a year.
Previously owned Serengeti sunglasses for 15 years and had no issues, only had to replace them as they were stolen
I recently purchased another pair of Serengeti's and will never purchase Ray-Ban again
The parts that rest on the nose are very poor design. I will NEVER purchase anything with RAY-BAN. The nose piece has broken now countless times and it just broke again. Very poor design. The piece that attaches to the frame breaks off and the whole thing falls apart.
They broke within a week of my first purchase of the glasses
This part now breaks consistently every 2-3 weeks. Often when I go into get them fixed they do not have parts. I bought these thru a chain and must go to other stores to get the replacement nose pads. They broke on my trip to colorado. They broke on my recent trip to california and on my recent trip to las vegas. I now keep my spare pair (old) glasses with me at all times because of Ray Ban's poor design quality.
Worst customer service ever!
Last week I ordered a pair of wayfarer prescription sunglasses, and a lanyard sunglass holder, and they sent me someone else's prescription, and no lanyard sunglasses holder.
I discovered the switch when I saw the wrong frames, and put them on. My eyes hurt me so bad. I knew they were not mine when I discovered a prescription card in the box with a woman's name on it.
I called and a customer service rep by the name of Luis answered the phone.
I asked to speak to a service rep but he told me I couldn't speak to one if I didn't have an order number. I even asked for the name of his supervisor, and he refused to tell me.
I told him if he did not put a supervisor on the phone, I would file a dispute with my credit card company, and put a bad review but he still refused.
I have filed a dispute, and a stop payment. I will also be putting a youtube short of my experience for others to see and to educate them on what do with poor customer services like this one.
Supervisors must be held accountable for bad customer services.
I bought a pair of glasses online and they didn't work out. When I sent them back, I told the service rep that I spoke with that the credit card I used to purchase them was no longer active, so they said they would send me a check. I have since had to reach out to customer service over 6 times! Every time I talk to them they tell me they will mail me a refund check and then 3 days later I get an email saying that my refund has been resolved and they put the money back on the credit card that I have explained (numerous times) is no longer active. I have have still not received a refund and continue to go in circles with their service department. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.
