Stay away from Ebates, rather go with Great Canadian Rebates or Shop.com. They're legit and get your cashbacks fast and automatic. Ebates customer service is HORRIBLE and cashback cheques always arrive late.
Don't know why all review is bad, I'm happy with Rakuten my all order was shipt Good price 5, my kids happy and I planing to order more and more!
I ordered a laptop on hp.com where ebates says 8% cash back. Waited for a week to get the amount added to ebates cash it is not added. When contacted they simply said order is not placed from ebates. I belive they pay only amount less then $10.
Expected amount is $104 but no response.
I joined Ebates a few months ago and I have since received over $15 in rewards checks. I shop online all of the time and although they are a bit slow to pay (not every month), I don't mind at all because it does come. I love that you just click a button and it automatically applies the discount. They have 'real' stores such as Walmart, Kohls and JC Penney, while also offering high end discounts for luxury purchases. They have a fantastic variety of shops and I just love it.
If you have been on the fence, jump off! You may not receive a BIG fat check, but even a few dollars here and there is rewarding.
I tried many of them, and Ebates is the best cash back portal for me personally.

Ebates provides great offers of cash back with SUPER satisfactory customer services and reliable customer support. For saving money as shopping, it is a must-know resource. Also, it performs a friendly-use interfaces in terms of online website and mobile app concerns. The archives of shopping transaction and cash back/bonus history are very clear and informative. Ebates is a no-brainer to use and will save you money each time you shop online at an "Ebates store." Their customer service is also outstanding, should there be any problems, which are few and far between!

I only had one issue about receiving cash back and when I called on a Sunday morning, a live person answered. My issue was resolved within minutes in my favor and this was not a small amount that was in question. I do all my shopping through Ebates. I only wish every company were run this way! A PLUS ALL AROUND!
I have done some purchases but they did not give me cash back without any reason and whenever I have a complaints, they asked me to give them bunch of nonsense questions and information
Twice I have had issues about receiving my cash back. No sooner did I reach out to Ebates customer service that they responded quickly and expeditiously corrected the issue. Love Ebates!
By the end of May when I didn't receive my rebate check, I contacted Ebates to inquire. The response was immediate and they reissued a new check.
I am now waiting to receive my payment and I was very impressed with the quick response to the situation.
I absolutely LOVE this company! They are true to their word with their cash back promo's; and if on the off chance there is a problem to be solved, they act on it almost immediately! I have never had such a good response from any customer service member ANYWHERE! I also love that they give you cash back for shopping at places where you would normally shop anyway, without jumping through hoops! I have referred friends and will continue to do so, this is a "too good to be true" that is just plain too good and absolutely true! I will be with them for life!
Ebates had all kinds of cash back bonus offers I love shopping thru Ebates and the customer service is wonderful if you ever have a question they get right back to you. I wish I knew about this site sooner. I will always use Ebates when shopping online
Had an issue where a check was lost and they sent a replacement, no questions asked with awesome customer service. You're already shopping online, you'd be an idiot to not get paid for it.
Ebates is terrific. You get a check for a portion of your shopping. It's so easy and such a wonderful concept. I love it and only shop via ebates. Highly recommend!
They're great about crediting you small amounts, but anything over a couple of dollars is likely to get lost ("the vendor didn't report your purchase" is the usual claim) and then you have to send them proof of purchase, and obtw it has to be exactly to their specifications. They have "special offers" where you're supposed to get larger-than-normal rebates but you better screen shot them otherwise when they DO end up crediting you it will be for the base amount.
I have had a very positive experience with Ebates. I used Ebates when I shopped for Christmas gifts.
