I'm really surprised that this is how someone does business in 2019. I placed an order for 2 pair of shoes, one to be picked up and the other to be shipped. I never received a confirmation email and my order was no where to be found when I logged in. However, my credit card was charged. I did eventually get an email that my pick-up was ready but the order still doesn't show up in my account on the website. I ordered in time for Christmas but it isn't looking good for the 2nd pair of shoes. Here I am 3 days later and I still don't have an order number for the 2nd pair of shoes so they will probably not get here by Christmas. I tried calling Room Rack Shoes on 2 separate occasions and I was on hold with no end in sight for over 20 minutes! That's crazy. I can't recommend this business. It's VERY unorganized and is causing lots of frustration.

Do not buy online!

I had ordered some boots and I ordered the boots based on measurements not size because every shoe is different, unfortunately the shoe did not fit and I told them I wanted to exchange, they said I have to return the item back, I went to fed ex and usps and they were going to charge me 50 dollars to ship item back and that's half of what I paid for the shoes, I called and told them this and they said that the only thing is I can exchange it in the store but the closest store to me is 2 1/2 hours away, I decided I was going to re order and then if I get the chance to go to the closest store I will return them there, I called and the lady had told me that I'll lose out on my 15% off if I reorder, so after some time I decided that was not going to be efficient so I just decided to not make it complicated and ship the shoes back, so I did I called I told the girl I wanted an exchange for a size 8 and gave her the tracking number, she said they won't process the exchange until they receive the boots, but today I receive a call and they told me that they processed a refund when I specifically asked for an exchange, I went through the trouble and spent lots of money to ship the item in hopes for an exchange and get a refund instead, if I knew that would've been the case I would've waited to exchange the shoes at the store instead of having spent so much shipping the item back

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes from Rack Room about a week and half ago. FEDEX said they had delivered the package on Thursday 9/26/19 and it was not delivered to my house. I waited 2 days before calling Rack Room about this issue. They told me I needed to contact FEDEX, I did and and FEDEX told me that since they had sent it via Smart Post, that Rack Room was the entity that had to make the claim. I have called Rack Room twice and sent two inquiry's, all of which have not been responded to as of today 10/4. Very disappointing and will not order or shop at Rack Room again.

Had to get work shoes. Went a couple of days in a row because I couldn't make up my mind. So I asked a girl who is always putting up shoes whenever I went if she could recommend something, she's tall, with glasses. I didn't remember her name. She was quite helpful and friendly. I had asked the manager the day before but she seemed busy so I just came back the next day and the young girl helped me. And they have pokemon stops in the shopping center too. So if you go get shoes maybe don't ask the young manager ask the tall girl with glasses. She will be happy to help you.

On-line Buyer Beware

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes on-line which I had to eventually go to the Post Office to pick up because Rack Room Shoes does not use UPS or FedEx. They sent me 2 pairs of shoes that was not what I ordered and not in the size ordered. I could not find a number for customer service so I tried their Live Chat option. No on ever responded. I then emailed customer service. I received an automated email that someone would respond within 24 hours. 48 hours went by with no response. But atleast there was a phone number to call on the automated response which I called. I was frustrated but the lady was nice and said she would expedite the shipping of my order by FedEx. After another week, I called customer service. My order was never sent. I returned the shoes as they requested. And my credit card has yet to be refunded. Use Amazon.

I ordered 2 pair of shoes online, received email confirmation and shipping email. However I received someone else's package, with only one pair of shoes! I called them and they can't do anything for me until they receive these shoes back! So not only do I not get my shoes but now I have to go print a return label and find time to send these back before I can get my correct order or a refund! And the second lady I spoke to hung up on me! DO NOT order online from them!

I would advise potential customers to consider whether they have a retail location nearby. While Rack Room Shoes has great pricing, their online return policy leaves something to be desired in the modern marketplace. In a day and age when return shipping at no charge is offered by many clothing and shoe companies on the internet, you will have to pay return shipping out of your own pocket plus be liable for any shipping charges taken out of your refund with Rack Room Shoes should the shoes not fit/work out for you. In the end, you might spend between $12 and $25 for the round trip shipping... and have nothing to show for it. After making 3 phone calls, and a week waiting for a return phone call that never happened, I spoke with Lisa, supervisor of customer service *******692, about this policy. She was polite and offered to refund only the original shipping charge. Internet pricing and no charge return policies being what they are at major online retailers like Amazon and Zappos, I suggested that their shipping policy being on the customer should be pointed out on each product page of their website. I am sure this will not happen, since it would certainly lower their sales to customers who don't live close enough to a retail store for returns. BE AWARE. I am still out $11.92... don't let this happen to you!

Disappointed

Received my order of two pairs of sneakers and I could tell they were previous returns. They were slightly dirty, laces undone, and the boxes they were in were a mess. One had holes in the top of it. I will never order online from them ever again. Shopping in-store was a very different experience and so much better. I really appreciate the BOGO promotion. And the shoes are high quality.

BoGo - total scam

First pair $39.99
Second pair $19.99

Went to refund first pair (too big) and the fave me $19.99.

Said I could refund the already used shoes to get the remaining balance as in store credit.

This is the most rediculous thing I have ever heard. Rather than give me at least half my total back they prefer used shoes.

Go out of business already.

I save a lot, loved the style, and have been telling my coworkers, friends and family.my children, their friends have been shopping at rackroom shoe as well. We always get style for every season, and occasion.

Great variation in shoes & some really good deals... doesnt mean I always find my size or style I'm looking for, but better than any other shoe store or shoe department within a store that I gave ever shopped.

There is so much to choose from. The employees are helpful and so courteous. The buy one get one half off helped too. Bought three pairs of shoes. Definitely going to continue to shop here.
