I took the photo because I order two pairs of shoes when I see the products, and I pretty sure it was just one pair. This shoe company is the worst company I had ever see. They shipped wrong shoes to me, and I understand it was happened. You know what they even know what wrong shoes I received after I provided just the last four digit of the wrong order label without any further information. And ask me to go fedex to return it. That's okay! But, what make me really angry is they did not say anything about where is my shoes. Even I asked, they just see they do not have the shoes. The representative just say they will give me the refund once they receive the wrong shoes, and required in that way saying they only refund me if they receipted the wrong shoes as great condition and so many other requirements. I was so angry as I purchased for happiness not for trouble, and you know you send me the wrong shoes why don't you just refund me? This shoes is not my style not my size, I have no need to keep it. And if your system has already know it is wrong, why do not try to find my shoes before I phone you. I pay for the shoes, but the shoes company make mistake. It is not my fault, but I Have to do so many things as you company required to get my money back. Could you company do that way only if your customers received the right products, then getting the money from customers pocket? No. They get the money from you pocket even they know they shipped the wrong shoes. However, they refund will be if you returned it property, we will issue you refund in 7-14 business day. And they do not care their customer and ask customers to do every to get they thing back and treat customer as free labor. And even say if you do not work as free labor we will not refund
You. They shipping is awful. They never use box, they only wrap the shoes in bag and shipped them out. But when you return they will say you have to warped in good condition. It was the worst shopping experience, and I am not shopping for trouble and upsets and return.
If you look at their return by mail section they make it sound so easy for you to return your shoes. Instead of just saying YOU pay for return shipping they play word games to make you think you will just attach the shipping label you receive with your shoes. I tried to find Out if I have to pay for return shipping before I made my purchase and nowhere does it specify that the customer will be paying for return shipping until you actually call customer service and find out you will be paying for shipping. In this case since I got buy one get one 50% off I'm returning the 50% off shoe which is only worth the value of the shipping so it's not worth my time or money to return it. Hate shady companies who's policies aren't transparent. Won't be doing business with you again. Just say customers will
Be paying for packaging and shipping if they have to return something.
I'm always happy with my rack room purchases. Great value. The stores can be a bit messy but no worse than TJX. I recommend you give them a try.
They have very poor customer service. I ordered 5 pairs of shoes for my kids and for my 8 toddler shoes they sent me a size 8 womens. I have been trying to get them to fix it for over 2 weeks and my son still doesn't have his shoes. They did at least send me a label to return the one they messed up for free, but it's ridiculous trying to get his shoes! It's one excuse after another. They supposedly are shipping today. We will see. I was told that last week also.
Boots don't fit but will cost 1/4 of the boot purchase to return.

My BF bought 2 pairs of boots for me. Needless to say RR shoes has NO 1/ 2 sizes. ( First red flag THAT THEY AREN'T A REAL SHOE STORE)So I take them back for a refund... oops sorry they say" No refund" but we'll give you an online credit and you can shop on-line" They deduct $20 from the original money spent... not sure why but give me a card. Guess what, there are NO 11s in their entire stock. I wear 10 1/2... so no shoes and wasted $100. Never again. CRAP STORE. Go elsewhere.
The Pickup Service for Rack Room Shoes in Pineville, NC is terrible. My order was not ready for pickup after being notified by email. The Associate circled the store 3 or more times trying to find the shoes in my order. After waiting for all the time to gather my order then the associate pulls out each pair from the boxes and my 8 year old daughter sees one of the shoes and realizes she is seeing her christmas gift before christmas. Its 12/23/20 what else are purchases for? I purchased these online so my kids do not see what I am buying for them. After talking with the Store Manager about this terrible experience I was told there was nothing that could be done.
I ordered a pair of white shoes size 7 1/2M and received a pair of tan shoes size 7 1/2W that were dirty! I was told that they didn't come in white, so basically they advertised them incorrectly, and I'm not ok with paying $100 for shoes that are not what I ordered! I emailed them at least 6 times and finally called only to be put on hold and left for 30 minutes never to be picked back up.
I decided to buy my dad some shoes for his birthday. I bought them Thursday and it said it would be delivered Saturday. Great! They send me a tracking number (FedEx) and I was like, I'm not going to miss this! I don't want my dad to see the package! So I hang outside with my mom and sister and I got a notification that the package was delivered.? I try to contact FedEx, but of course, just a virtual assistant. I move on to RackRoomShoes and I'm on hold for about 2 hours. I finally get to someone all they asked was "Name, Order Number, Address." Your package was delivered. Go contact FedEx or go make a case with PayPal. So I try again with FedEx and no luck. I go back and try to contact RackRoom and when I finally got to someone, they disconnected me. I tried opening a case with Paypal, but they gave Paypal the tracking number about 3 times until Paypal closed my case. Now I have no shoes or money. I've tried contacting them multiple times but no real luck. Now I have to try to contact my bank and see if I can make a case with them.
I broke down and bought an 85$ pair of boots at rack room shoes. I take an ee width so it's hard to find shoes anywhere. These boots at RR shoes only lasted a couple of months. The toe separated from the soul,(poor glue). I bought a 20$ at Wal-Mart that lasted longer, but they don't sell anymore. RR shoes CRAP.
I shopped for the first time at Rak Room Begining of June, the 2nd to be exact. I was sooo excited that my sons & I all found shoes we liked for reasonable prices. THEN at checkout they were having computer issues & made me attempt to run my card 3 different times. Computer issues continued along with lack of communication of employees at the store. When we left I was promised all was fine. Not the case. I was charged for the shoes on 6/2 & then 2 days later my card got charged AGAIN! Mistakes happen BUT I have now spent HOURS waiting on hold with their completely useless customer service department on multiple occasions. I've gone back to the store to try to work out with a manager & basically it's now 6/25 I still have NOT received my money back! What bothers me almost more is that I've not received a single email or phone call saying sorry or let us try to make it up to you, NOTHING! With 2 growing boys I can't imagine how much I'd be spending there over the next 10 years but at this point they've lost a great customer. Note- I'm actually a very patient & understanding person. This is my fist ever bad review but I hope this prevents others from having to deal with this company.
Had to call multiple times after the company received my return to check on my refund, I also chatted in at one point because every time I called the company I was holding for over 30 minutes or longer. The agents that I did speak to on the phone were very short with me and couldn't really answer any question I had about my return / refund. Today after almost 2 weeks I was informed that I wouldn't get what I paid for the Nike's only 50% of my order total... I am so upset that I am also returning the Converse I bought and I will NEVER use this company again...
I've ordered 4 pairs of shoes and got inly two pairs and third pair ai got someone's else shoes, Toddler tennis shoes. I've tried to get in touch with customer service and have been out in hold forever. I never got in touch with anyone and now I never got my two other pairs of shoes and need to keep it wrong shoes otherwise I need to paily shipping back! Please stay away from this site!
I tired to order 2 pairs of shoes. Before I could review the order they charged my card and never got a email. I was on hold with customer service for over a hour. They refunded the amount but then charged my card again for a 2nd time after the money was back in the card.
Ordered on May 2nd received my order on May 6th, super fast shipping from Fed-Ex which I love because you can log in to Fed-Ex & change your address to a Fed-Ex pickup location. The shoes were the size I ordered & were Brand new No Problems. I would reorder from Room Rack Shoes again in a Heartbeat!

I'm n this time we are in today with the coronavirus rack rooms return policy really sucks. You need a new pair of shoes go somewhere that has an easy return policy. And that's not rack room. So many shoes doesn't fit the same so ordering on line is horrible anyway. But with rack room if you need to return for a different size you have to pay to ship the back to rack room then pay to ship the new shoes to you. You pickup your shoes at the store curbside then if they don't fit your in shoe hell! Rack room just really sucks.
I ordered shoes WELL OVER a week ago. Have emailed them 3 times, no reply. I never had a problem with them before but i track my package and it still has not shipped or anything. $80 spent almost two weeks ago and nothing.
Ordered two pairs of shoes online. One shoe was nice. Second one was damaged. Contacted customer service who was pretty nice. Sent them an email of photos showing the damage. Follow up phone call next day, when I didn't get a response, was with a curt representative. This very curt woman let me know there was nothing they would do for me. She told me customer service would follow up within 2 business days. I asked if you are telling me they won't help what am I getting a phone call about? Very rude, told me again to wait for a phone call. Recieved a voicemail telling me they won't do anything for me & it was my job to contact the brand whose shoe it was to see if they would help me. I sent an email follow up saying it isn't the customers job to do their work with their vendors; would they please contact the company for me. They sent a message back they saw no damage on the shoes. I sent them a reply asking if I had to circle the damages for their blind eyes to see. I shop online a lot. This is not worth another penny. I know that nothing is perfect but the customer service and quality of their products cannot be trusted to be good. If I can't trust that my products will be quality, I'm not trusting them again for another 50/50 chance.
I bought two pairs of shoes & a small sling backpack from there. The backpack was fine no complaints. I didn't like how everything shipped separately but the shipping was pretty fast so no complaints there. The first pair of shoes (mine) came with that plastic tag (it goes off if you walk of the store without taking it off) so that was an inconvenience and I had to go to a random sneaker store to ask them to take it off (which she was not supposed to do but was nice enough to do it anyway). My biggest complaint is that the second pair of shoes (my boyfriends Valentine's Day present) came in a tote up box, come on now that's ridiculous this is a GIFT & now I have to present this tacky piece of sh*t box and explain to him that I ordered from a company who could give a f*ck about the satisfaction of their customers. This rate only got 2 stars because I was surprised of the shipping especially after reading how so many people had messed up shipping or never got their shipments, etc. that was the ONLY plus or else this rating would have been 1 star.
Answer: I would advise potential customers to consider whether they have a retail location nearby. While Rack Room Shoes has great pricing, their online return policy leaves something to be desired in the modern marketplace. In a day and age when return shipping at no charge is offered by many clothing and shoe companies on the internet, you will have to pay return shipping out of your own pocket plus be liable for any shipping charges taken out of your refund with Rack Room Shoes should the shoes not fit/work out for you. In the end, you might spend between $12 and $25 for the round trip shipping... and have nothing to show for it. After making 3 phone calls, and a week waiting for a return phone call that never happened, I spoke with Lisa, supervisor of customer service (800)248-0692, about this policy. She was polite and offered to refund only the original shipping charge. Internet pricing and no charge return policies being what they are at major online retailers like Amazon and Zappos, I suggested that their shipping policy being on the customer should be pointed out on each product page of their website. I am sure this will not happen, since it would certainly lower their sales to customers who don't live close enough to a retail store for returns. BE AWARE. I am still out $11.92... don't let this happen to you!
