I encourage everyone else to report them if you have the same issue. When you create the free QR code there is nothing shown about paying or limited access without paying. I generated the QR code and put it on over 1000 business cards that I now have to reorder. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!

They want $60/year for a single image. It's free elsewhere. The fact that they give it for free and then take it away is such bad business practice. There's no notification this will happen either. I hate this company

As a freelance job and I need to create a QR code for a client, after printing and distributing all the friers my clients told me their customers could not open the QR code because it was expired. In order to reactivate a stupid QR code which is not required any tough technology to develop, I have to pay a fee, AND ANNUAL FEE ONLY?! They know you will regret using it so they only provide a yearly fee - the $#*!test company. This just an expensive scam masquerading as free software. You can totally find a free one online, even Google.com provides it. I wished I saw any of the other reviews earlier!

Besides trying to get me to register for the some advanced features, it's great! It has a lot of built-in tools to help you, like for vCards, etc. Very nice, and useful site!

I love these simple, free-to-use, feature-rich, and user-friendly web apps (in this case, not for everything).

I created several QR codes and had them printed on hundreds of flyers to be given out. Unfortunately, they deactivated the QR codes and my only option is to pay $150 to reactivate them. Very predatory business practices going on here.

Everything about this site makes you feel like the QR codes you create on it will still work after the trial period, you just won't be able to look at the statistics from your QR code, but it will work and you can sign up any time after that if you are happy with their product. Sadly, they lead you into using a dynamic QR code which stops working after your 14 day trial. If you've printed up sticker, flyers or anything of that nature and have them out in the world you're screwed unless you pay their ransom of a year subscription.

Qr-code-generator.com is the worst, you're limited to only a few scans before you have to pay, and when I did they said it would be $60 but instead charged over $75, adding small <$2 charges later with no explanation and their customer service is the worst. Basically told me they have my money now and aren't giving it back even though they're clearly overcharging. Now I'm trying to work with my bank to fix it but it's a huge pain. Use literally anyone else.

I notified them to cancel my account the day before my renewal but was told I am too late because they're in Europe and it's already the next day. Then they bill you for an entire year in advance (no month to month). They then threaten you with bill collection and fees. I paid them to keep my credit rating intact.

Next comes their canned "I'm sorry you had a bad experience..." reply. Keep it Dreschler and Engelking, I don't want to hear it.

I feel as though I was swindled into subscribing for this bogus service, and I am unhappy with the methods utilized in order to charge my card ridiculous fees to generate QR Codes. I am completely dissatisfied with this company.

This company takes no aim in helping its customers. I used their service for a year with no issues, but I've never seen such a money hungry company that has strict rules on cancellation periods for such a simple service that isn't hard to come by. You are better off getting QR codes elsewhere.

Other services with subscriptions don't fight you on the same day cancellation and refund unless their services are something you can't take back. QR codes are not that big a deal, seems crazy how fast you turn off QR codes when a free trial ends, but when a paying customer asks for some support. Nope.

60 Euros per year to create a QR code. That is bad enough if you know what you are getting into, but they let you create a free account under the guise of creating free QR codes, then once you distribute them, bang. You gotta pay or your code leads nowhere. Then, they autorenew without permission. They also want you to wire money to them? Fishy.
Seriously. Stay away. Even better, if you have adobe creative cloud, create one for FREE in indesign and never pay any extra fees.

Try cancelling it. I mean, actually try to find the link to cancel. There isn't one. Shocker. If you read this, don't for a minute ever consider about signing up. You probably know someone with indesign, they can buy you a coffee for the 5 seconds it takes to create one.
