Avoid this company at all costs. Worst customer service. Everything i call customer service i can barely here them. Plus everyone's accent is so thick i can barely understand them. I got an email in February telling me I qualify for an upgraded 5G phone free. All I had to do is update my address. I did that and more than four months later I'm still waiting on my new phone. I've called several times and noone can tell me when I will get my new phone. I'm beginning to think its a scam. What company tells their customers they will get a new phone and then leaves them hanging for months? This might be a free phone and free service but it should still be run like AT&T or T mobile.

So I saw the ad and like any other person I was like"Wow! That's a great deal, but what's the catch" so of course I signed up. At first it was so simple no prob. Waited for my sim kit never arrived so got back online and man I had to do the national verification again, all I had to do was initial the boxed statements and my signature,"that was it!?!" And I had did all that first time, so anyways I'm just waiting. My partner received their without a problem and before me. He had the byop and as I helped him set it up we got completely stuck on the network reset section. We both took turns to figure it out nada so we contact customer support, first thing put on hold 45 min. Finally spoke to a rude agent who couldn't get this fixed so she says we have to talk to someone at tech support. Been on hold for them over 6 hours. We also tried calling from 2 other phones, online and email. All phones were kept on hold for a long time, did get a request for call back, but did they call back, heck NO, no email nothing! So at this point he's stuck, phone but no service. All darn day waiting on hold when he coulve been out taking care of more important things and he even missed a phone interview that he had waited patiently and was looking forward the call! So as upset as he was hopefully the manager the called him will understand and give him a second shot. For this gov't phone company big as big and known I would think they'd be very much more professional. Many people who truly can't afford phone service becausre of finances, the virus, and no employment could really use a service that they thought was legit and could've helped them, but it was all false hope which isn't right especially if it's from the government, you'd think they'd put the people first and look out for us all as a country, very sad and it angers me because We still didn't get a call back and yup still on hold. What a shame. I don't recommended this company, false advertising!

Customer service is terrible. On rare occasion you can get a live online chat with them, but I have yet to find out how to purposely access it. So far it's only randomly popped up when I've been scouring the generic help section on their website (which isn't actually helpful for troubleshooting anything as far as I've seen). When it does activate the online chat session you're given a number of people waiting before you to get help and an estimated wait time. No way to tell if the wait information is fabricated or factual. Every person that answers support calls is either based in India or they only hire people from India to answer calls. The names they give are recycled ( I've talked to several different people that have me the same few very American names). It would be nice not to be lied to. I want to know their actual names so I can show proper respect to the person helping me. Nothing seems honest with this company. The first time I used this company everything was easy and smooth. Had to re-apply and get an upgraded SIM card and this time nothing was easy or smooth. I've had no access to my UNLIMITED DATA for several months. I can't make calls or texts anymore. I can't even call customer support. My emails NEVER receive responses outside of the automated 'we got your message and someone will eventually contact you' response. The "free" tablet included with the new 5G SIM card upgrade is an outright lie and still costs you a co-payment of $10.01 (as listed in the fine print). They offer paid service plans as well as the free ones. I can't imagine paying for this with such terrible customer and technical support. I'm so very disappointed.

QlinkWireless lies more than my ex.

It's a shame that qlink has lied about everything. I've been using their services for about a year now. They were just as expected at first. Then they told me that when I upgraded my sim card to the 5g network that's would get a free tablet and by enrolling in the EBB Program I would get unlimited data until they end the EBB Program. Every month I was supposedly getting "unlimited" Data and that's what my bill says but believe me it's not unlimited at all. First of all the first days of data that I do get will only load regular web pages sorta slow but after you've us d a few gigabytes of data it gets throttled to the point that you can't even make a googl search. This has happened every month and even after calling about the data the representative claimed my data was unlimited but I'm very aware of how my data gets throttled and suddenly on the 1st it starts working again every time. I've also been told multiple times that my tablet was ready to ship and I would get an email with a tracking number as soon as it ships. They been telling me that for 3 months now. I don't know how they benefit from doing this to me but it is stupid. I never asked for any of it to begin with. They offered and I just don't like acting like I'm getting something that I'm not. Qlink sucks, I'm gonna go to a different provider. Hope this helps someone.

Go elsewhere - horrible everything from customer service to getting vital new SIM for your phone to work. Talking to someone is impossible and then you are stuck without a phone.

At first, the service was acceptable- even though the ZTE phone they gave me was the crappiest phone on the market. But about 1 month ago got an email to bring my own phone and get unlimited free data as well as a free tablet. Okay -FREE is good, right?
Not with QLink! I received the sim card and followed the instructions to a T - no service. This was a Thursday. I kept repeating everything and finally got calling service, but no text, no data. Called on Friday on hold for over an hour. Fixed text- no calls and still no data. Called several times on Saturday- on hold for over 4 hours total. Left my home number several times - no one called me to resolve the issue! Called again on Sunday- the call had so much static I couldn't understand the girl. I thought it was my old phone, but I immediately called someone else after hanging up with QLink and my phone was crystal clear. It was their awful service! So I finally just went back to my old carrier. BUT would qlink. Release my number back to them- NOT without several more phone calls taking several hours over the course of 2 days! But finally - my phone is working quite well again! End of story? NOT! I started thinking of getting a different phone to use with QLink ( FREE tablet) and started - but did not even complete- a new application. I even erased all the info and closed it. Guess what? Got a new sim card, new account and phone number!
So I'm on the phone again for about an hour trying to cancel and close my account and everything associated with it! Again the service faded in and out and I couldn't understand half of what the CSR was saying. But I was on my good cell phone this time so this was just more proof that it's their service that's so bad. Was put on hold about 10 times during call, but finally got confirmation that my account would be closed - in 3 business days! Since this is a Friday, that means I won't be released from QLink until -possibly - next Wednesday. What a nightmare! But I guess I should've expected it considering it was screwed up Obama that started this program!
Just a note: I NEVER received a call back, text or email response to the numerous requests for help.

I would have gave them a zero if it was an option you could hold online for 2 hours waiting to talk to somebody about an internet speed that is 03% of a megabit I finally got to talk to somebody she put me on hold again for another 2 hours and then it hung up on me I called tech support directly and after 30 minutes it kicks you out and gives you a new set of options

I have been without a phone since march 2021. I called there help desk 3x and gave them a call back # I purchased a phone 2 diffrent times. Sent the first one back. Did not get any response so I paid for another one 25 bucks. Recived the 2nd one same thing sim card did not match my account. So Im done with them. Hope you have better luck than I did. I have not had a phone now since march. And kind of feel unique. Check it out. I DONT HAVE TO HAVE A PHONE. How many people can say thia?

Im am currently on hold again and have been since this morning. After about an hour of hold the call just ends. But I have to talk to someone to get this resolved so I am stuck. The second I can afford to get away from this garbage I will. Data doesnt work. They keep trying to blame my phone but it worked fine on their network until the forced this 5G "upgrade" now I have no data connection using the "New Simcard" they mailed to me and forced me to use. I have tried the simcard in two other unlocked phones and its the same result. Customer service is just outsourced to people who barely speak or understand any english and reguradles of what I say they just keep reading a script becase they dont have the competencey to listen to the issue and have zero problem solving skills. This is not based on a single call to them. This has been a struggle of mine for weeks. Do not get QLink if you in anyway depend on your phone for anything important.

As someone mentioned, the phone they give you should be immediately replaced. It barely was used. I truly believe they are just trying to get government money because they are shady and shoddy. I ordered a phone a few months ago and am making payments through Qlink.
Last night my service was disconnected. Calls went directly to a message saying I was out of minutes and to make a payment. The gag is I HAVE UNLIMITED service. After holding for over an hour, I hung up. I called again this morning and was advised that my service was disconnected because a NEW PHONE was being sent because my phone would no longer work on the network.
I told them I never got a notification and I am still paying on the new phone. This is unacceptable considering it's supposed to be a LIFELINE. It's my primary phone. In any case, I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told there were no supervisors and to call back.
I called back, and immediately asked to escalate the call. I spoke with a "supervisor" who insulted my intelligence by repeating what the other person said. I advised that I wish to have my phone restored. She said she was sorry they weren't telling me what I wanted to hear, but if I could verify my address, they could create a shipping label.
SOOOO that means my phone hasn't been sent and they just turned my service off and forwarded all calls to QLink. I made an FCC complaint, and sent and email to the CEO.
They are trying to poorly treat their low income customers because the service is "free". How is this a lifeline?

Slowest damned internet I've ever had less than 2mbps download and forget an upload speed. Mint mobile flies on by this junk by a mile at very little cost and is also a T-Mobile carrier.

Unlimited data speed is. 04 Mbps after using 10GB's of data. It's to slow to even load most web pages. The data connection is pretty much good for nothing. Unlimited talk and text are OK they seem to work most of the time. Sometimes texts take forever to send and receive. If you want a good affordable phone service with True unlimited unthrottled data with speeds between 30 - 200mbps pay the $25 a month for Visible Wireless. It starts at 40 per month but with party pay it is only $25 per month. Have been with them for 3 regrettable years. My last call for support was told it would take 241 minutes. Gave my call back number 3 times but no return call. When I finally got someone I couldn't understand their broken English accent and called back. 53 minutes on hold this time. Called on phone problem and was told to go to Walmart and they would fix. I went to Walmart and they died laughing since they don't do repairs. When I called back they said I was canceled because I used too much data. I never use data and only about 6 hours a month of use. Finally got a supervisor from the Philippines who I could hardly understand and she said I have to re-apply and would be given a new number. WHAT... they can't reactivate my application. Now I have to inform all my 50 friends and relatives I have a new number... NO, I have to start all over. NO WONDER THEY HAVE THE LOWEST RATING OF ANY PHONE COMPANY. ALAS... GOING TO FIND A COMPANY THAT WORKS. PS. Just heard that they are losing their government contract... YEAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Worst wireless ever!

Q link lost the contract with Sprint snd never honestly announced it and inform their customers. They left me for months without communications.
They stalled and waited to port my phone number for over two years and when they tried it was too late. My account was closed. I lost my number and all my business contacts, all my clients. All of their customer service don't listen to me, don't cooperate with me, don't do as i ask, refuse and change the subject, lie to me, give me false misleading answers, gave false excuses, false answers, false facts, false information, false claims, false promises to do as they tell me. AND HANG UP ON ME. They refuse to admit they from New Deli INDIA. AND THEN THEY CUT MY DATA. THEY CUT MY MINUTES. THEY CUT MY TEXT MESSAGING. THEY FINALLY CUT MY LINE!

I been trying to get hold of Qlink for over a week now today i been on hold for 6 hours waiting to talk to them about a sim card that don't work in my phone? Just an update i got a phone from my local Dollar general paid $30 for 6 months to get it unlocked switched it to quick link service and now I cannot send pictures through texting.
