Anyone interested in switching to qlink please read this comment and take hed to my warning. There customer service is absolutely useless they dont no how to answer the simpelest of questions and thatd if you call or use the chat. Good luck getting a phone in the next 4 to 5 months. Absolute lies. They promise a free phone, tablet, and sim card. Have yet to recieve anything. I understand this service isn free however, even if you choose too pay for an upgrade you dont recieve it. I truly think this company is a Scam. Choose any other life line services trust me.
I just got the phone not even a whole month ago and its already off can't contact anyone and I was approved had service and number they need to do better
Ive been a Qlink customer for about 7 or 8 years. And ive loved there service all the way thru. But ever since tmobile took over the service has been nothing but garbage. The customer service use to be awesome, but now there is no customer service. Just a bunch of automated crap that doesnt help at all. The wait time is forever long. 2-4 hours wait time. And when you do decide to wait it thru on someone elses phone, itll start bugging you about doing a call back which i always ignore. I actually choose to wait it thru. For 3 months ive been doing this constantly. Only to always have the automated machine come on abrutly and tell me someone will call back when i never selected it, and it hangs up on me. I purchased a new phone that was $130 and when i tried to install the sim card it said the phone isnt compatible with the provider. Qlink left me a message saying i should buy another phone. Then they sent me a "free tablet" only to have them demand $10.01. Which okay i guess its fair even thought that is not considered free. So i go to meijer, and guess what they dont sell $10.00 gift cards unless you buy the ones you have to activate and pay on every month. The next option is $25. Im on ssi i cant afford to waste money on crap like this. So to anyone reading this. Choose a different provider. Like i said they use to be awesome. I loved the service. Ever since they tried to switch company providers and up our crap to 5G the phones r useless, the service is useless and the customer service is useless. Thank you for your time.
I have been with Qlink for 4 years now and I never had a problem when I brought my own phone to my plan. But every since they did the ebb program my phone have not been working they sent me the new 4g 5g sim card and I have been trouble since. The only problem I have is my data working I cannot use my internet without wifi and I cannot receive any picture messages. When I call customer support they are rude, and impatient. I have followed all the steps to try to get my data working and I told technical support it still wasn't working for them to catch an attitude and hang up on me after I waited patiently almost 2 hours just to get through to talk to someone it is ridiculous
DO NOT USE QLINK! I have been waiting for 3 months to get my new phone and SIM card. I have my phone order confirmation email and confirmation number from March 24th it is now the end of June! Everyday that I have tried to contact qlink wishing these last 3 months about my order they all say the same thing "your order will be shipped in 1 or 2 days" and STILL nothing has arrived I contact them at least once a week why has my phone and SIM card not arrived yet. Do not use qlink it's you will never get your order. You will get the same response with no resolution, it will never get shipped out they just tell you it will while you wait for months and keep having to contact and not get your order. Find a better trustworthy company that cares to actually ship out your items dealing with qlink you will have no phone and no service. The worst phone company experience I have EVER encountered. I do not understand why they are still in business the low rating on the reviews speaks for itself.
Been sitting waiting for my phone since april have called them 3 times to get the same run around going on 4 months don't waste your time or money here they are ripping people off
This is the worst service and i do mean the worst ive ever had they said i would get unlimited talk text and data plus free hotspot they said i was approved for the EBB program which is a government program that allows you to connect other devices to your hotspot and it hasnt worked since i got this service my kids cant connect their Chromebooks or anything to this hotspot i would rate them a zero but i dont think its allowed
I have Lifeline with Qlink. They enrolled me to the EBB program without my permission. Now, they refuse to cancel that enrollment. I applied to have EBB with my internet provider but was blocked because of the issue caused by Qlink. Now, I am losing $50 monthly.
At first this company was great. Then they told me i had to pay for new phone. Ok I did the $19.99 one. Ok so it states wait 24 to 48 hours to go from processing to shipping. It's been a week. And you can't get an answer on how long just to wait. I really hope they don't let me down. If it take this long what about the tablet. I hope more people will make reviews this company gets millions of USDollars and my 19.99 where's my phone and the tablet you promised?
This company has been promising me a free phone and tablet for over 3 months and still haven't received either. Keep saying the label has printed and it will be shipped within a week. It's been three months and to no avail. Please do not use this company as they are just getting paid by the government, but not following up on what they promised in providing the service and equipment as advertised.
The Customer service is not ok. Audamated voice said 5 min. An hour later I was still waiting. The sub par phone is really having problems on the 5g network though for 3 months all I hear is please wait 7-10 days to get your updated phone.
Q link is and bad service and liers they was post to send me an new phone and a new tablet but i never got it. It been months they lie what are they waiting for? The program to be over with so they don't have to send it there phone break easy an they are on investigation when i can i am. shuting my service down
The data is on the very low end. Compared to my friends post paid T-Mobile. His is always faster than mine. Sometimes it's too slow to use. Since it's free I expect to be low priority. Overall it works okay.
Qlink is constantly asking me to verify my documents. I sent my documents in at least over 10 times. I'm so frustrated and angry because I don't believe they've truly want to help. I qualify for the free tablet but they are prolonging my qualifications so much and it's very frustrating.
This company just does no care about its customers! I have been without a phone for over 4 weeks and was told I would receive a replacement and it would take 24-48 hours and here I am four weeks later without service! You can't reach customer service there is nobody to speak with! No emails as promised no calls as promised no emails as promised! Worst company ever!
Q Link sent me a new sim supposedly to upgrade to a 5G. In the process they lost my original phone number said I wasn't a customer. Finally get a new number which I didn't want. And the service absolutely will not work the SIM is a joke the company is a joke you can't get a hold of anybody they send you in circles I can't stand what they have done to my situation. And what they've done to many others I have friends who have had the same problems. And I know they'll never do nothing to reimburse what it has done to many of us.
This truly is the worst cell phone company there is! Well, let us face it, there is an old adage that reads: you get what you pay for! When you call customer servive they tell you the wait time is 5 minutes... well, those 5 minutes turn into somewhere between 35 and 55 minutes! They claim you have call forwarding for your phone, not true. They do not have train staff to tell you what is the problem. Also, they claim your cell phone will auto connect to wifi when you enter certain establishments... not true! They claim 4g speeds... NOT TRUE!

I have contacted these MFers multiple times by phone and email and they NEVER get back to you. I haven't even activated a phone and tried to cancel service immediately to go to another company and now I'm stuck with a worthless company with terrible customer service, a terrible customer service voice prompts with bad connections and a website that's useless.
I am going to attach photos to shows the amount of times I've emailed them. For every email I received from them I replied how much I didn't want to work with QLINK and that I needed to return a sims card immediately!

Answer: I mean they provide cell service not internet that's two different animals all together. LOL you can turn your phone into a hotspot, which then allows you to tether your tablet to the phone and use its cell data but I think actually the only cost is $5 a month that's unlimited everything so I think just about anyone can afford that. But they actually send a SIM card which I believe was for the tablet and I never put it in so it could be it already came with cell service I haven't paid anything in months except for one time $5 and for all I know that was for shipping and receiving. As far as the $30 phone bill the government you already getting free service so you could apply that $30 towards the internet service if you have a provider in the area that's cheap but reliable. Good luck on that. If you need to know how to set your phone up as a hotspot you turn on Bluetooth for one but the best thing to do is just Google it say turn phone into hotspot and connect tablet for Android it will give you full directions.

Answer: To my experience with this company since 2018 i never had to pay a dime if your being asked for money RUN run very fast they are trying to scam you because this program is 100 % free --phone --sim card --activation--only money out of pocket maybe for 2nd time go around if you loose your phone drop the sim card in the garbage disposal or belter yet the toilet but no $$$$ ALL FREE

Answer: If it is a real Qlink email and not someone phishing for info when the package comes don't open it, Write on it "Return to Sender" your singing the song in your head, huh. Depending on your age that was an Elvis Presley song in the 50's or 60's. If it asks for any kind of information do not answer. I get one that say my (department store) order is on the way. If you get a text message and says to send "Stop" to a phone number don't do it. Most likely it is testing to see if you have an active, valid number. Anything internet, phone or text that you don't know who or what it is "Spam it" and delete. Even if you know the person there's a chance when you open it. My address book got hijacked on Facebook and sent everyone on it a virus. I don't FB anymore. It's a pretty sorry person that sends a virus to people they don't know.
Answer: I agree with the previous answer I had SafeLink years ago it takes forever to get it's not as good a service I couldn't get calls inside of my residence. It was terrible I would definitely go with QLink it's so much better in so many ways I don't think there's a question here really. They even sent me a free tablet or I think it was $5 although it's older and it's slow it's free and it does work. You have to make sure you connect it to LTE or 4G rather than 5G it is not a 5G tablet nor I don't believe the phone is either it's 4G also.
Answer: Mine got limited data but still can use calls and text if you run out of data. And it's almost June of 2024 and I am still using my free government service. Maybe however you got this program ei. In WA state you have to be TANF or SNAP and sometimes you have to renew you benefits like my food stamps I have to do that every 6 Months in WA state. So maybe you need to check if that's what your state program works!
