At first I had a few issues with getting my phone to work with the qlink sim card BUT it did finally work and is working great, I also got the free tablet and so far so good, it works great, it's not too of the line ofcourse but it does what it needs too. Thanks qlink I'm very grateful!

I applied for a free tablet through EBB and Q Link. I was sent a tablet that was a joke and couldn't even get on the internet with kept freezing up. When I called them I was told to send it back and they would send me an RMA number which they never did. I was also told that I have to pay $10.01 for defective tablet whether I sent it back or not. When I tried to cancel they wouldn't let me cancel unless I told them I had a job that paid more money and I couldn't qualify for the program anymore. This is been a horrible experience and I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through. I am still going through it. My account is not canceled and I still have this defective tablet and they keep sending me an invoice. Qlink is nothing but a scam stay away don't do it. They should lose their government contract. It's not fair that people who really need this have to get scammed by this company!

Frustrated

Paid for phone they said I had to get because my old one would no longer work. I never received the phone they said was delivered by Amazon even tho they kept sending texts saying it was being delivered by UPS. Sent these texts even after the date tbey said it was deliverd by Amazon. 3 days on the phone with Customer Service, no help at all kept telling me the phone was delivered even tho I kept telling them I never got it. Sent several emails and even wrote a letter to no avail. All I keep getting are emails about cutting my service off for non use when I use the phone every month. Today I get a tablet from Qlink I never ordered and an email saying I must pay for within 30 days and the government will pick up the rest of the cost. When I click on the pay now button a full page of terms come up for me to agree to. I came to these reviews of this company to see what kind of experiences other have had because frankly I'm skeptical of what is going on and afraid to agree to terms.

OMG, Q LINK IS THE WORST CELL PHONE SERVICE. I DID NOT USE Q LINK FOR 24 HOURS! I WENT BACK TO OLD CELL PHONE SERVICE. Q LINK HAD OUTRAGEOUS DROP CALLS, COULD NOT USE VIDEO CALL OR LOOK UP ITEMS ON LINKS. CUSTOMER SERVICE REP. WERE MIS INFORMED AND DID NOT WANT TO GIVE ME MY ACCOUNT NUMBER. WHAT A WASTE OF GOVERNMENT SPENDING. POOR, POOR SERVICE.

They sent me my new sim card the other day and the phone simply would not recognize it. Finally able to get ahold of a real person there and was informed my phone was outdated (it was from them) and I needed to purchase a new one from them. Of course their web site wouldn't let me as it said I needed to send in my eligibility documentation (I get several emails a month threatening to cancel my service if I do not supply it, which I do every single time. I have talked to customer service about the harassment of it and they said they do not know why that is happening and will take care of it. Nothing has happened and it still continues. I have sent the phone back to them (after the shotgun took care of it) and tellign everyone how bad of a company they really are. TOTALLY WORHTLESS AND JUST A SCAM AND FRAUD

The good, bad and worse!

I'll start with the good first; Free lifeline program unlimited talk and text that allows you to bring your own unlocked device to the network. The bad; switching to the 5g network, having to order a new sim card and waiting 3 weeks for it to arrive. The worse; qlink deactivates your current sim card and your out of phone service 2-3 days before tracking tells you the sim card is on the way!

I purchased a phone from Q Link wireless on November 1,2021 after receiving a letter stating my old phone would not work after December. I paid $19.99 for the phone and sims card. Upon receiving the phone, I noticed it wouldn't hold a charge for over 3-4 hours. I emailed them several times as the problem persisted, they never answered any of my emails. I contacted them by phone which is an awful experience in itself. The reps whom I spoke with told me I needed to buy a new battery for my phone. Obviously, every phone that this company sells comes complete with a battery that won't hold a charge. Instead of making this right with their customers and replacing the defective phone they send you or issuing you a refund, they tell you you're going to have to buy another battery for your phone. This company shouldn't even be allowed to be in business, they are taking advantage of people like myself who are on disability and low income. Why would I be responsible for purchasing a new battery for a phone I have had for just a few weeks unless Q Link knew all along the batteries in the phones they sell are defective. I ask for a replacement phone, they said no. I ask for a refund and told them I would send this worthless piece of equipment back, they said no again. Buyer beware……don't do business with this company, they are as crooked as they come. I also reported them to the Better Business Bureau. They know when they sell you these phones, they won't work. 10 weeks later and $19.99 short, I learned the hard way. It doesn't surprise me to learn the Feds raided their offices last summer. I would give them a ZERO rating if I could. They are awful to deal with and customers mean nothing to them.

I wanted to transfer my EBb to my internet provider. The rep said that would be fine, that I could keep my phone service. 2 or 3 days later, no service. Had to wait all weekend just to be told I had 'cancelled' my service, that I HAD LOST MY PHONE NUMBER OF 12 YEARS WITH NO WAY TO GET IT BACK, and I'd have to reapply and re-submit proof of eligibility. I was only inactive 2 days! I paid 300.00 for a phone with these scammers to be treated like this!
Looked up what company owns the number: T-Mobile. Couldn't buy my number back and their cheapest plan is $70.00. I can't afford that. Tried to sign up with another Lifeline provider, but I'm somehow in limbo with qlink. I really, really don't want to go back. For the time being, I've signed up with Straight Talk until I can straighten things out ( and I can barely afford that). Thanks a bunch, QLink. I have filed a report with BBB.

I did bring your own phone. I was sent the SIM card never worked they told me my phone was not compatible oh, so I ordered one of their phones! Come to find out, my phone was compatible we just had a horrible coverage in town where I lived. Everything worked other than me receiving and making phone calls. For some reason out in the country it work and in the nearby small town it work. So, after ordering their phone still couldn't get it activated. Customer service was horrible I finally had to tell them never mind I'm going to hang up because you are not even responding to me and I'm just going to cancel Q Link services and go back to Cricket and hung up! Now I'm stuck with one of their phones that I can't even use and I paid for

Qlink absolutely sucks every time I try to make a call it says no network no network everytime I try to get on the internet and let me on there for a minute and then it'll go out it's almost worth paying for a freaking phone so you can use it instead of having a phone that you can't use cuz you can't call out and you can't get no phone calls every time somebody calls me goes straight to voicemail

Like, way way way way better. Faster internet and the customer service is about the same, sooo. I'll never go back to paying what I don't have for something that that was here for me all along. Insane. I was struggling and stressing out of house and home for no reason. No reason.
