I read many of the low star reviews before I started ordering from Pyramid Collection, just so I could form my own opinion at my own risk. Every single item I've order - and I've ordered many things - fit perfectly. Everything is beautifully made, top quality. I've never felt like I'm getting ripped off paying a little higher price than companies with lower quality clothing. I am hooked! Their clothing and jewelry make me feel beautiful and sexy. I've only needed to contact customer service once to resolve an issue. Other than that, I've had absolutely no problems. I usually wait until they advertise a free shipping day. Everything usually is delivered within 1 1/2 to 2 weeks from order date.
In mid-May I ordered earrings, a pendant and chain for the pendant for a life long friend for her birthday on June 1st. The first two items arrived in about 2 weeks. The pendant was now showing as on back order. I finally received what was supposed to have been the pendant two weeks ago. It was not the pendant, it was a ring. I returned it with the paperwork completed to have the pendant, that was originally ordered, re-ordered. Two weeks in, no word, I called customer service and was told they did not enter a replacement order that I would have to place another order and pay upfront, before receiving the credit for the item never purchased. My friend's birthday is now going on two months ago and I still do not have her gift. I have never experienced a problem in the past with Pyramid Collection but apparently that is how business is conducted now. And no one is the least bit concerned that a long time customer is now a NO TIME customer.
Be aware that they will charge you the full S & H fee for whole order on the first shipment even if there are backordered items. Also, I was told that I would have to wait until the
"Warehouse" receives the items to issue the refund and that could take 5 - 6 weeks! Never heard of this. Putting in a formal complaint to the Attorney General's office of Massachusetts. I suggest everyone do the same. This company is a farce.
I ordered some perfume and before I ordered it I called and asked if the price included both bottles as clearly pictured on the website. He said yes he does and I ordered the item, expecting both bottles. When only one bottle arrived, I called again and was told that it was a mistake by the representative and that the picture on the website was inaccurate. I asked that they make it right by sending me the second bottle and they refused! It is not a big deal but it is the principle of the experience -- clearly an error on their part and they refused to make good on it.
Do not order from this company. The quality of the merchandise is only so-so. I ordered a costume and only kept it because I was able to make alterations and "make it work". Then started getting charged a $14.95 monthly charge on my credit card. I protested the charge with my bank and they removed it. When I emailed Pyramid Collection to inquire about the charge they stated that I signed up for "VIP Membership" when I placed my order. I did NOT sign up for anything! Apparently there is some "box" in the fine print that is already checked. If you don't know it is there and don't uncheck the box you are automatically signed up and charged $14.95 monthly!
Bought 14.95$US item and was charged 75.47$CAD on my credit card, Customer service e-mailed me to say they were adding 35$US surcharge for Canadian shipping. It was a gift otherwise I would have returned item. Only buying from Amazon.ca from now on.
--They charge a lot for shipping ($10.95 and it's not shipped expedited, or in a box, or with insurance, clearly they're just trying to make money on the shipping).
--It's kind of cheaply made. The stitching was already coming out in half a dozen places when I got my vest. The only reason I didn't return it is because the return process looks kind of skeevy. They charge you almost $8 for a return and it doesn't look like you get your shipping money back. So that's a $19 loss for a return that takes 4-6 weeks to process.
--It's really, really wide. It's a one size fits all but I'm a size 18 so I didn't think it would be quite as big on me as it is. I swim in it so I can't imagine what it's like for someone significantly smaller than I am.
--I tried to leave a review on their website and got an error message. As all the other reviews for this item were positive I strongly suspect that their website is set to give an error message for reviews two stars or lower.
In conclusion: I don't exactly regret getting the vest but I feel kind of cheated on the shipping amount and the qualify of the item. I won't be purchasing from Pyramid again.
So I bought something about a year ago. When I bought it I didn't sign up for anything but buying my stuff. That's why you got to read the fine print. There was a box checked off for VIP. Didn't realize it. You get a category monthly that has pretty much the same thing in it as the month before. It cost 14.95. I have cancelled it time and time again. Only 1 time did I get a response but he didn't do anything. It shouldn't be this difficult to cancel this. I hate calling. I have super bad social anxiety which resorts me in barely leaving my house except to work. So I haven't called, BUT I shouldn't have to for something like this. So yes. No I am never buying from there company. And yes. I think there a horrible company.
Loved this magazine for over a decade. Will charge you for same item more than once, two months after purchased. Customer service are clueless. Love their products but ill never buy from them again. Recommended to friends but after this experience I instantly warned them against buying from them.
I have been a fan of Pyramid Collection for almost 15 years- never bought until now though. Sadly I already wish I hadn't. Insanely slow shipping, sorta useless customer service (they continue to read a script no matter what you say- they don't have the ability to fix anything really) and CHEAP clothes! Not the quality I thought I was paying for considering the insane prices. I bought a dress, top and pants, all XS and all three of them were HUGE with so much extra fabric! I'm 5'3" and I looked like I was playing dress up in my big sister's clothes :( Also I bought a pair of ankle strap gladiator sandals in my size- but the strap around the ankle part is huge and tightening the buckles just makes it pull weird. Also they are incredibly cheap material. I call customer service and find out I have to pay to return it all. After speaking with 3 different levels of management they finally tell me they will reimburse the shipping I have to pay, after I send everything back and they receive it. Such a hassle- just stay away!
I viewed a few items on the web site several days ago. This was as a result of a Google search which led me there as well as to a bunch of other sites. I did not sign up for anything. Yet somehow they tracked down my email and began spamming me several times a day. I finally clicked on one in order to try to unsubscribe and they warned that it could take up to 14 days to go into effect. Rest assured I would never do *any* business with a site like this.
Paid 17.95 to get something in a few days, still don't have it, will be refusing it when it arrives as I needed it TODAY! Have purchased before and returned almost everything - I think I kept a tee shirt. Products are also Meh but I had I hopes for this item I needed for a major event that now I will be wearing jeans to apparently. Some foreigner in customer service couldn't have cared less but DID want to argue with me.
I've been a customer for ten years now. At first I had no problems. Last Christmas I was sent a wrinkled torn obviously returned dress. I asked for an exchange, but instead they reimbursed the card of the man who sent the gift, I then ordered successfully pants and a top during their slow season... This time, and it will be the last time. I didn't receive my 250$ order. Weeks later I received a letter that they needed more money ( my states tax laws changed). So I was told my order was shipped. Well today received a bunchof cheap old lady night gowns that were supposed to have shipped to Minnesota... I live in Chicago. Who knows where my order went. Pyramids tracker said my order was delivered today... NEVER, NEVER will this extremely incompetent company receive an order from me!
I ordered two tops that did not fill well so I returned them. The quality of the clothing was fine, just not a good fit. I got the order quickly and I got my refund quickly. Customer Service could be a bit nicer but they were not rude. The reason I did not give 5 stars is because of their VIP thing - it is a bit deceiving and who shops enough to want to pay $14.95/month?!? I cancelled it right away (my point of contact w/ customer service) and so far so good. My other peeve with them is that you have to pay to return clothes. But, if you know your size and like the clothes I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from this company. They have some interesting clothes at a fair price.
While their merchandise is nice. The shipping and delivery system belongs back in the stone age. You get no notification if something is wrong even though you provide an address, phone number and email! Shoddy and costly! Steer clear!
I ordered a number of items on June 18,2018. They were too large so I exchanged them right away through my office. I called them to follow up on this return. They received it and I waited for the exchange. They confirmed receipt of the items. Today on August 13th, I called and asked where the exchanged items were. They told me they were never sent, instead, they said the gave me a refund. They said it was the fault of the warehouse who ignored the exchange request. I was outraged because I wanted them for a trip. It is now at the end of the summer. The customer service rep sounded like he had the IQ of a child and could not comprehend my upset. I told him that they could have followed up and told me that they refunded my card. I now have to follow up with the bank because they didn't bother to tell me, rather keep me waiting for items that were never coming.
I ordered clothes from Pyramid. They sent the jacket too small, and I wrote to them and they sent they would send the correct size regardless of whether or not I sent back the first jacket, so I put it on the shelf to package eventually. It never arrived. Finally I sent the first jacket back, but got no email reassurance of my return, not even a rejection letter. I like their clothes but unsubscribed from their mailing list because I will never purchase from them again.
Called customer service to make sure if I ordered from them, when would my order be shipped? I ordered on 4-7-2018. Pyramid said they would ship the following Monday 4-9-2018. I called on the 12th customer service said they had inventory and they were closed for one week. On the 7th customer service didn't say anything about being closed. Customer service said Fed Ex received my package the 12th (I didn't receive an e-mail with a shipping date). Guess what! Fed Ex just received my package and its the 16th... Now I have to wait a minimum of 10 days to receive my dress. This company's clothing line is nice! Thru the years I've ordered many times. Their customer service and shipping practices are the worst.
Negatives:
*Placing an order is a pain because they spam their VIP Club (paid membership; not worth it) through the entire checkout process.
*If you sign up for VIP Club not knowing there is a fee, you cannot back out; even if you do not click confirm, you WILL STILL begin getting charged for the "Service".
*Days after placing order, searching for your order will yield you a "Order Not Found" error.
*Return policy is archaic. They provide no return shipping label. You are required to provide for return shipping and they recommend you purchase shipping insurance for the item.
*You cannot leave product nor customer service reviews on their website.
*Items occasionally become a "backorder" item or gets cancelled (you do not get back any of the shipping costs back).
*Lastly, if you have kids in your home, NOTE: you WILL receive endless catalogs with adult items and images depicted in the center pages in your mailbox/mail slot!
Positives:
If you can deal with their practices, they do have some unique items difficult to find elsewhere (If you get them when ordered).
My final straw:
I have ordered from this PyramidCollection.com many times in the past few years for my wife due to the unique items they have. Overall, quality of the items purchased have been good; not great but decent. Recently I purchased a dress for my wife sized medium, which, when arrived was way too big (other dresses and tunics from this seller in medium have fit my wife). I told her to just give it to her mom whom wears XL clothing, and this Med dress fit her a bit baggy. So, I purchased another of the same dress in SMALL and it also fit my wife like a trash bag. First time needing to send something back, I find out that they supply no return shipping label; nothing but an return address supplied. They require you, the purchaser, to provide the return shipping and recommend you buy insurance on the product. Looking your order up their website will yield you a "Order Not Found" error. Calling customer support will yield you a friendly voice telling you that they cannot/will not help you.
I've finally had it. I have been a loyal customer for years despite frustrations over the years (mostly because my wife likes their unique items. No more. After many hundreds of dollars spent over the past few years, they cannot seem fit to cover return shipping of an improperly cut item, I will not purchase from again.
I ORDERED A DRESS AND CHOKER IN JANUARY THEY TOOK MY MONEY AND SENT SAID ITEMS BUT I RECEIVED NO TRACKING ADVICE AFTER MANY REPEATED REQUESTS FOR ONE. I RECEIVED ONE AFTER AUSTRALIA POST IN THEIR INFINITE WISDOM SENT IT BACK TO AMERICA SAYING THE ADDRESS WAS WRONG? I RECEIVED AN EMAIL 2 WEEKS AGO SAYING THEY WERE REFUNDING MY MONEY WITHIN 72 HOURS AND I STILL HAVE NOT GOT IT. QUESTION DOES AMERICA HAVE CUSTOMER CONSUMER LAWS TO PROTECT CUSTOMERS FROM GETTING RIPPED OFF. THE PYRAMID COLLECTION WOULD NOT EVEN RESEND MY ITEMS TO THE CORRECT ADDRESS GOD KNOWS I PAID ENOUGH MONEY IN POSTAGE FOR THEM TO DO SO. I AM NOW $350 AU OUT OF POCKET AND NO ITEMS
Answer: Did not like the quality of the dress. Very thin material
