Why do we have to pay $1 for every property search since Volusia County public records should be available to everyone because we pay taxes for government services. I am a local realtor and access the public records CONSTANTLY to obtain property info and I think it is unreasonable now to implement a $1 fee for every inquiry. Just doesn't make sense for a government agency to make revenue from the public for "supposedly" being a resource to the public for maintaining property information. I think I will just use Zillow.
