Scared me off
October 14, 2017

Customer complaint above says 8x11 size out of stock and you answered that the 8x11 is being discontinued. Today I just bought a Groupon deal for an 8x11. I'm going to forfeit my Groupon cost just to not have to deal with issues I see listed above. How have you stayed in business so long? I will be talking to Groupon about them listing your company with so many issues.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL
October 11, 2017

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL - AVOID! Shocking quality and shocking customer service.

Ordered a print using one of their precedent borders a month ago - when it arrived the wording was wrapped around the frame. Have sent numerous emails and received no response. This breaches their own complaints procedure on their own website!

Completely fed up and will now escalate.

Terrible service
October 11, 2017

I never got my blanket. I read that another reviewer got the wrong product... it was probably my lost blanket. No customer service. I have to dispute the charge.

TERRIBLE SOFTWARE
October 8, 2017

Absolute garbage. Bought a deal and could not complete the book. The software is disastrous. Half the heads get cut off. You have no control of your album despite a hundred features. What's the point of it? STAY AWAY AS FAR AS POSSIBLE

Amazing Job!
October 5, 2017

I purchased a Groupon for two medium photo blankets to make matching big/little day blankets for my sorority little and me. I didn't read all of the terrible reviews for the company and the products until after I had purchased the blankets and paid for shipping. I anxiously watched the delivery tracker to see how awful the products would actually be. I received the two blankets today and LOVE them! I cannot wait to give my little her blanket! The blankets feel good, the pictures are printed well, and they were delivered in a timely manner!

Wrong Blanket
October 4, 2017

I am sure they have great products. BUT the quality doesn't matter if you get someone else's order. How does that happen? I didn't read the reviews until AFTER I bought the Groupon. I was scared when other people were telling their nightmares. Well apparently it happens frequently. I received someone else's blanket. I needed this for this week and now they said it cannot get here in time. I am sick about it. If anyone gets my blanket (cute redhead girl), please let me know. I have someone's else's blanket. Photos are included.

Beautiful Photo Books
September 27, 2017

We purchased a Groupon for three 8 1/2 x 1" 40-page photo books. We paid $14.95 for that deal, plus $15 for the premium paper option ($5 per book), and $14.95 for shipping. For under $45, we received three absolutely gorgeous books of my mom's artwork/paintings! We took photos of all of her work and I used the "blank canvas" option to create the books. I cannot express how wonderfully they turned out. Once we saw how great they were, we purchased more Groupons and ordered more sets of the three books. A set for my mom to keep at home, a set for her sister, a set for her cousin, and a set for me! (The original set will be used at her art shows as a sort of portfolio/catalog.) Each set of three cost less than $45! All of the sets arrived at about the two week mark, except the last one. That one took about three and a half weeks. We will totally use printerpix.com again! The only drawback is that you have to keep saving your current/old projects every thirty days or they delete them. I just do it every time that I am over at my mom's house. It is a little inconvenient, but at this price, it is worth it!

I ordered a photo book for my Mother In Law's birthday party 6 weeks ago. I still haven't received it. They now say it's 75% done in production! I called, the language barrier is horrible. He couldn't help me from what I could understand but would have someone call me. Called a week later. Still no book, still couldn't understand and still they'd have someone call me. NOTHING!

First of all, their website is confusing to use. So there's that. But I had a bad experience with this company, and want to warn others to stay away.

When you upload photos to the site, it doesn't allow you to enter settings for whether the picture will be cropped or not. I didn't want my pictures to be cropped, since I had dates watermarked into the bottom corners, which would help me organize the photos into albums chronologically. The first order I got, all my pictures were zoomed in and cropped (even the ones that were originally the same ratio dimensions as the prints), which cut off the watermarks.

I contacted customer service. She said to re-upload the pictures (why didn't they keep the images in my account, by the way? 500 photos, a big pain to re-upload... but OK.) Then she told me that before placing the order again, to email her, and she would personally make sure the pictures were printed out correctly.

Well, I got the next shipment, and the issue was not corrected. Pictures were still cropped, my dates were missing. I don't want to order again, as that's a huge waste of ink... not to mention, my time. I'm going to suffer through organizing my photos without date watermarks, but I'm really ticked off, and do not recommend this company.

Best metal print quality!
September 25, 2017

I have used groupons and purchased metal prints from several stores: Printerpix,
Ramco Lifestyles, ImageCom.com and another company I forgot. The metal print quality is the BEST on Printerpix. The Ramco & the Image ones were printed on a thicker piece but it was not really metal. Because of the thickness of the photos the light did not shine through and aver these photos like it does on Printerpix photos. We also used the 4th company whose metal prints were thin like Printerpix but the inc they used did not deliver the vibrant quality Printerpix does. I mean the landscape photos we have printed are vibrant and the colors are rich and it is breathtaking! That is the best. The draw back is as follows: the other companies have thicker prints and ship them packed very well so the pics arrived without bending. Some of the metal prints from Printerpix arrived bent. We had to have 1 photo mailed to us 3 X b/c our aweful mailman was able to bend the package to get it in the mailbox and so he did and ruined the aluminum thin metal print. So the packaging from printerpix should be thicker and more sturdy to prevent shipping damage. However, again the quality of their prints is AWESOME!

Our Travel photos
September 22, 2017

We took an extended vacation and I have made 3 60 page books (so far) and 2 20 x 24 wall photos. Our books are absolutely beautiful. I love the photo hard cover and the quality of the paper (I did pay the $5 extra for that). We had two large wall photos made and one came with ripples on the side. It took me two tries but I insisted on getting to a customer service rep and a new perfect copy of the wall photo was sent. I have learned that once you get an email, the product is at your house in two weeks. It took some time but it was well worth the wait. We love them.

I placed my order at the end of August for 3 copies of the same photobook. My order showed in production for 2 weeks. I finally emailed customer service and they never replied. My order was eventually shipped and I received it today. 2 of the photobooks seemed fine (with the exception of some of the photos being poor quality even though they were professionally taken, high resolution photos - and I had been assured it would be fine...). One of the photobooks was somebody else's cover bound to our photos. Doesn't seem like the order was reviewed by any sort of QA department before it was shipped. Emailed customer service, here's to hoping they will respond. Will never go through this company again - save your money.

TERRIBLE SERVICE
September 20, 2017

When I placed my order I entered a different shipping address, placed my order - got the confirmation and it said shipping to my billing address for $80 rather than the $15 it should have been. Called the next day, they said no problem, we'll fix it takes 7-14 days to be refunded. Couple weeks later, no refund. I email, told the same thing. It has now been TWENTY-TWO business days. No refund. I'll update should I receive a refund. At least the product has finally shipped.

UPDATE - After many emails, calls, online chats - I did receive my refund. My friend who received the blanked as a gift was very happy - the blanket was very cute. If I hadn't had such an issue with getting a refund for the incorrect shipping amount my star rating would be much higher.

Ripped Off!
September 14, 2017

Tried 8 different pictures and 6 different template. Could not get the website to accept photos. Auto layout was awful and cut heads off. Bought through a Living Social voucher and they have a no refund policy. Burned by both companies! Totally ripped off!

Message I sent them

I have recently tried to use an offer I bought from you and in buying the ONE offer you have given me FOUR different codes. I emailed customer service for a live chat and no one has got back to me so called customer service to be told I have to pay FOUR lots of postage? When I asked Rosanna my customer service agent to speak to a manager she told me I couldn't, he wasn't available. When I asked for his name she point blank refused to give it to me (as a business owner myself I believe to be astounding!) and she couldn't tell me when he was available ever. Point blank the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will never use this company again and will spread the story of your 'customer service' like wildfire!

My title says it all. After 30 minutes waiting to speak to a customer service rep, I was promised a refund, an email confirmation later that day. NO email received, no response to numerous emails sent, and on hold for over 50 minutes days later trying to speak to a human. I finally gave up waiting. And dont even get me started on how primitive and terrible their site is. Go to Shutterfly, night and day.

Slowly making progress...
September 13, 2017
Updated review

8/18/17 -
I sent an email (as company requested) with a photo of the blanket received (so they can prove I'm being truthful) and a description of what is wrong with it.
8/19/17 -
I received an email from a company representative with a photo of my correct blanket and to verify my home address.
8/21/17 - I received an email from the company rep informing me that my order has been 'redispatched.' The gentleman is extremely apologetic.
9/7/17 - I received a shipping confirmation from PrinterPix. I am hopeful that I will receive the correct blanket this time.

Date of experience: September 13, 2017

I called customer service and waited over 20 minutes on hold. I spoke to someone who told me that I had to email a photo of the incorrect blanket as proof that I wasn't trying to get another one for free and they would respond to that email within 24 hours. That was on 8/14/17 and it is now 8/17/17. I called back and was on hold for another lengthy amount of time, and was given the same instructions, even though I told him that I'd done that already. He apologized and said he would send a request through to the escalation team again and once I receive their reply via email (who knows when that will be), I have to send the photo of the incorrect blanket again and perhaps then they will reprint and send the correct blanket. So... I ordered on 7/16/17; maybe I will have it by Christmas? Valentine's Day? Hmmm...

Date of experience: August 17, 2017

I should have read these reviews before I bought a Groupon, which I typically do. My mistake!
The blanket I received belongs to someone else. It is supposed to have photos of a child and there are photos of someone with dogs. I waited 4 weeks to receive it and received the wrong one, so imagine my extreme disappointment when I received this one. It is a very thin blanket, poor quality. I have emailed the company today and am awaiting their response. I started this review so I can show everyone the timeline of their customer service reply.

Surprised
September 6, 2017

I was very surprised with how well and fast my pictures on the blanket turned out. I bought a groupon for it so the total price for everything was about $24. I didn't read the reviews until after I placed my order so I was worried until it was delivered. It only took about a week and a half for it to be made and delivered and it looks fantastic! I am very happy with my purchase.
