HORRIBLE. STAY AWAY.

This is an update on a previous review I had written. I normally use other photobook companies, but this time, I ordered a photobook through Groupon with Printerpix because the prices were tempting. Seriously, you get what you pay for - especially the customer service. To start off, the site is not user friendly AT ALL. Not only that, I contacted Printerpix through their chat twice and received no help whatsoever. The second time, they even logged out of the chat before even helping me!

Fast forward a couple weeks, and my item is STILL in the status, "Preparing order for production." I called numerous times to receive the same mindless answer from their so called customer service representatives - "Oh, your item should be shipped out in a few days." "Your item is in the final stage of production." "I assure you, your item will be shipped out soon you won't regret it." Are you kidding me?! 3 weeks of calling and I get the same answer?! I demanded to speak with a manager, but they told me they were in a "meeting" and then changed their answer by saying "they are not on premises." Today, after more than a MONTH that my item has not even shipped yet, I call once again to hear the same load of lies and that there is no managers on premises and that they cannot do anything to help me. Then they assure me they will "escalate" my order (which they've told me since day 1). IT'S BEEN MORE THAN A MONTH! PLEASE, do yourself a favor and listen to all of these reviews! STAY AWAY.

Don't fall for their cheap vouchers for anything! I ordered 6 vouchers for wooden puzzle pictures and found out that the online ordering process is a nightmare. The vouchers all have to be redeemed separately, and on top of it, they charge a significant shipping fee on each order, effectively doubling the cost. And, they automatically add items to your order and you have to manually remove them. Calling customer service simply does not work because you cannot get past the automated menu at the beginning. Live online chat is useless because they just tell you to call customer service. Horrible company.

I used them before (and after) for canvas and books, and to be fair those came out ok, but the 20X30 metal prints I ordered were a huge waste of time (and money). I got 2 groupon coupons, each for 2 20x30 metal prints (so all in all 4 prints). Both packages (with 4 prints) came in damaged due to bad packaging or handling. Metal prints are very delicate and if not packed correctly, will show signs very easily (see pictures attached). One of the orders was also missing the hanging kit (but that's not a big deal). After contacting Printpix, they actually said they were sorry and will resend the prints. Which they did, but only 2 out of the 4. The prints this time came in better shape but far from perfect. And as far as the other 2 prints, I never got those, and none of the rest of my emails got any response. I get it when there are issues with any place of business, the question is how they take care of things. And I was sorry to see Printpix drop the ball like that. Printpix, if you want to set this right, here are my order numbers, ******* and *******. Need new prints, with no dents, and the hanging kits to all 4 images.

I have now been waiting for 25 days for a basic 4 photo format photobook. Seriously! How the heck does it take that long?

If you cant keep up with your orders in the first place dont advertise on Groupon. You are pretty much digging yourself a hole, and from what Ive read its getting deeper and deeper, soon an infanent ebyss.

I was one who fell into the Groupon sells. I have a particular photobook company I use, but I figured why not try something new. Well I did and it was a BIG mistake. I would have rather paid regular price then deal with this bs.

I have called, emailed, and live chatted with no success.

This company will soon go under and you dont want to be the person that looses their money because they do. Avoid this company, there are so many companies that offer this service, and trust me the extra $20 is worth it.

PrinterPix SUCKS!

I feel bad for all their employees that drag themselves to work everyday to deal with complaints.

Such a disappointment

I ordered 4 canvases and they were so poorly packed that when I took them out they were all damaged. The canvas was stretched with lines in it. I have ordered these many times from various places and have never seen one wrapped so loosely and poorly. I emailed them immediately and they said they get back to me in 48 hours. I had to email them four times and give them a 24 hour deadline before I Call the credit card company for my money back. They THEN responded and asked me what they could do to help after I had already emailed them three times! I never heard from them again. Terrible customer service. Unsatisfactory product

They RUINED my surprise

Don't buy from this vendor. I ordered 2 canvases for my boyfriend. It's hard enough to be in a long distance relationship, but it's even harder to buy for a guy like my boyfriend. I finally found something I could get him for his birthday that is thoughtful and I know he'd like. Not only did I not get what I ordered, I couldn't access my order online due to errors and their site being down and I attempted to contact them through their chat feature online and they couldn't help me. They referred me to EMAIL them so that someone could contact me in 1 business day. Now I have NOTHING for my boyfriend and he is only in town this weekend as he travels. Printerpix has ruined EVERYTHING!

STAY AWAY NEVER USE!

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. This was a horrible, horrible experience. I worked extremely hard, for HOURS on my photobook after buying a groupon. The book was finally finished and saved in my projects and when i attempted to add it to the cart it did not work. Printerpix told me there was a glitch in the system and they promised it would be fixed in 24 hours. That was 3 weeks ago. They have now told me there is nothing they can do, and that even though i can SEE the project i put so much effort into that i have to recreate the ENTIRE thing from scratch because they cannot fix the glitch. They did not compensate me; offer to recreate the book for me; figure out a way to fix it; figure out a way to resize it. They told me there is nothing they can do. Horrible, unacceptable business.

"I just received my order- an 11x14 photo on metal. Everything about your service is entirely unsatisfactory and unacceptable. Here are my reasons:

1. The photo on metal is NOT the photo that I sent to you, so the order is wrong;

2. Your shipping packaging is terrible. It is very difficult to open without damaging the photo.

3 The metal is so thin that it was creased in 2 places on delivery. Were it the correct photo, it would be unusable.

4. I ordered the picture hanging device. However, there were no instructions on how to use it, and I believe a piece is missing.

5. I called your telephone number *******733) three times at 3:30PM on Thursday afternoon in order to complain about the above matters. Each time the phone kept ringing without a response- not even a recorded response.

All in all, I want a full refund of my purchase price.

I usually dont write bad reviews about stores/websites! But this is a must because this isnt normal at all! Ordered metal prints via groupon for printer pix. Was biggest mistake ever. 1) took me about 4 hours to load the pix on their silly slow site 2) got the metal prints in the mail and my eyes popped! I had never seen such hoorible prints in my life. The quality never looked so bad all my metals were black and making odd shadows! WORST quality you cannot imagine 3) i reached out callled numerous times no freaken answer they leave you waiting so long your phone will die so carry portable chargers additionally emailed them and of course no response!

I give up! The program they use just doesn't work. Took forever to upload photos and now nothing works. Groupon - lose these guys! Shutterfly never has any issues. Shoulda known better! Another $20 down the drain. I'm sure they'd never send you the product anyway, according to all the reviews I've read. Wish I'd done that first!

There website does nothing to make it easy on you. File picture sizes have to be converted from centemeters to pixel size. A novice has no idea how to do that. I just take pictures and cropping them on my phone, (but to pixel size)and enhancing has to be done in another place on another website. Pix Website is not user friendly, it should be able to have a drag and drop feature and fit to size. I mean damn our tv's stretch movies to size. But also give you options to to enhance. Walmart, walgreens, Cvs all make it easier for anyone to do. On top of everything else the tutorial is so general like it's teaching a professional photographer. Customers are'nt or we wouldnt need you to do it. If you want more customers make it easier and have someone that doesnt know the program do it as a novice. I was pissed off at the end I just had the same 12 pictures for both blankets not what I wanted at all. Un effing believable.

Dont let the bad reviews mislead you. They might have gone through a rough time at some point and Im sure maybe now theyve fixed a few things (lucky me) because I ordered 5 books through them and they were just delivered about ten minutes ago ON TIME. The quality / Value is great, its more than I expected. So if youre ordering photo albums I definitely recommend printer pix. I have never ordered blankets or other things so I cant say anything about those items. Oh, and the shipping from ordering to delivery takes about 2.5-3 weeks. So BE PATIENT. If you want it faster go to Walgreens or Wal-Mart and get it in an hour but it wont look as good as the ones from printer pix

Has taken over 7 weeks so far and I still haven't received 2 photo books. The support just replies with stock answers still with the quote marks round the copy and paste sections. We have used them a lot previously but they seem to have got worse over the last 6-12 months.

We will not be using them again and I advise anyone else not to either.

Pay attention to size

I ordered a medium sized blanket. I didn't take time to consider what size that would be. I was disappointed by how small it was, but the quality is very good and my pictures look good on it.

I tried two different ways to import my photos and it wasn't working. I called customer service, was on hold for forever, and the representative did not seem to care at all. He said it was my problem, he couldn't help me. The End. Awful waste of time! Thankfully Groupon refunded my purchase.
