The overall reputation of the company reveals significant dissatisfaction among customers, primarily due to issues with booking accuracy, hidden fees, and inadequate customer service. Many reviews highlight frustrations with non-refundable reservations and uncommunicated changes, leading to feelings of being misled. While some customers appreciated the initial pricing, the subsequent hidden costs and lack of support during disputes overshadowed these positives. A recurring sentiment is a lack of accountability from the company, prompting numerous customers to vow never to use the service again. This feedback indicates a critical need for improved transparency and customer support practices.

Worst website to purchase trips. Used them for first time. Ran into a few issues and they Do not help guests trying to change flights or even try to accommodate the guest. Very rude staff and refuse to help the client to the best of their abilities. Do not book through them! If you run into any issues they won't help you and you'll loose your money!
Booked a hotel room and rental car, noting 100% refundable! The NEXT day, 10 days prior to trip, I decided I didn't need the rental car and really wanted a downtown hotel. I was told I could cancel the hotel but not the rental car. I have booked many rental cars directly through companies and always have been able to cancel/make changes. I feel that I was deceived by the 100% REFUNDABLE on the website. I will never book through PRICELINE again. My advice is to book directly through vendors. It's usually much cheaper anyway.
I rented and paid for a hot tub room through Priceline. The hotel informs me there are no whirlpool rooms available and that Priceline should not have listed them as available. I have a room that could not be canceled. I call Priceline and had to wait hours for a call back as they were too busy. They finally called me back and said they spoke to the hotel and I would be refunded the next business day. Mind you, I made the reservation and the money was taken instantly. It's been six days and I'm still waiting for my refund. I will NEVER book thru them again. This is the second time I've been burned. There won't be a third.
I thought if you went through Priceline you would get the best price. Boy was I wrong. I was overcharged by $43.40 Per night because I booked through Priceline. The hotel price no discounts no honors program nothing...
Price was $96.00. Priceline charged 139.40
They booked me a flight on Frontier don't fly Frontier don't ever fly Frontier. The app is a joke impossible to download boarding passes please print
I booked a round trip to Vegas 3 months in advance. While I was on my trip they changed my flight so I had a 21 hour layover at JFK. I tried calling Priceline and waited 2 hours for a call back and when they called back, they redirected my call to the flights department which was another 3 hour wait. Once they called me back, 5 minutes into the call I was disconnected (with no call back) and had to start the whole process again. In all, it took me 10 hours to talk to someone, and once I did, they were rude and would not help me and wanted me to pay for the difference to change my flight. This was not my doing and should not of been treated like this or been charged extra. I called JetBlue and explained the situation and within 20 minutes I had another flight with no extra cost. Thank you JetBlue! I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH PRICELINE AGAIN! There are many other companies I can book online trips with.
Every time I use them the aggravation level is unbelievable never again the savings is not there call directly if you go through priceline all you're doing is creating a third party you have nobody to blame but yourself call the hotel called the car rental call the reservation office but do not go through priceline pay extra if you had to the deal they offer never exist
I wouldn't even give it a 1. I have been using them for years and whenever I had an issue they were NO help. This time, I am LIVID! My flight home was cancelled the night prior, I waited ALLLL night for a call. When I finally got to speak to TWO people, they both had different stories, how do neither of you know the full details? Pathetic. Left me on hold for another 30 minutes just because they wanted to! I will pay the $1000 it's going to take me to get home with Delta today but NEVER AGAIN! I will do whatever it takes to expose the unprofessionalism (even though this email itself is unprofessional IDC)! Also, how much do you pay for those 4-5 star reviews on google? Every other site seems to have you at a 1-2 stars.
We booked a rental car through Priceline and had to cancel our trip because our daughter ended up getting Covid. We called Priceline twice and they didn't care. They said they would not refund our money. The car was through Budget car rental and we called them as well and they said they did not receive a penny of the money, they said Priceline had all of the money. After a 3rd time talking to Priceline, They put me on hold for over an hour. Had to call back and they put me on hold again knowing that I would not wait and hung up. This place is an absolute joke. We will never ever book anything through them again and we have told all of our family and Facebook friends as well
First and last time! I called 11 days in advance to move my car reservation 2 days ahead and they denied the change!
What a bunch of crooks!
I will never, ever use Priceline or recommended!
I work for the tourist industry and I will make sure we will never use them again and our clients as well!
I rented a car and needed and extension of two days. Was not able to get a clear answer on how to get the extension or purchase insurance plan from Allianz or Priceline and waited on the phone for 1 hour and a half for resolution. Unethical terms on extensions as they are unclear and logistics between the companies is nonexistent. Each placates blame on the other "party".
Zero stars! I booked with Priceline in August for flight and travel. Both Priceline and fox rental car charged me for the booking. Fox rental said they would return my deposit and kept it as well as The double charge from Priceline. In September, I booked with Priceline and dollar rental car and Priceline charged me twice for the rental again! I didnt notice the august mishap until I started looking at my transactions in September.
This is crazy thievery! Class action lawsuit needed! I've contacted the BBB and then some. DO NOT USE PRICELINE and if you do check tour transactions!
They allowed me to pay for a reservation for my sister. I put it in her name but paid with my card. The rental car company wouldn't allow us to take out the car because it was in her name but my card (also bogus). Priceline said they can't change my reservation and if I cancel I will not get a refund.
Prices for hotel rooms are competitive but be careful booking an Express Deal, you may get a hotel that is not displayed on the map. When you deal with customer service, they are trained to say only one thing "sorry there's nothing we can do for you"... they are quick to take your booking and your $$$ but try to make changes and you S. O. L. ONLY an on-line business could getaway with that.
Priceline is a scam and their Customer Service Reps are greedy, useless, lairs. I booked my room and paid fully. The hotel overbooked. I have an email from the GM stating they refunded Priceline and Priceline owes me a refund. Priceline is now claiming I was a no-show and they're not going to refund my fully paid room. You see good reviews and bad on various sites, is it worth the risk to be one of the 2/5 people they rip off? All they need is a few good (or fake) reviews to keep the scam going.
If you are Canadian I just booked a hotel thinking it was I'm Canadian funds and after booking was charged I'm US funds. WT? If I try and cancel I am subject to cancellation fees even after 10 minutes if booking.
PRICELINE SUCKS!
DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!
I found out if I would have came to hotel, it would have been $278.00 instead of $378.98 that Priceline charged.
I pulled up a RT flight I wanted to book and the price was right, I proceeded to check out and pay, by the time I got there, all the sudden I get this message " sorry we have sold out of those flights " I have had this happen numerous times. They dangle a carrot in front of you. No more, this website is just a teaser.
I booked a room in Liberty Mo for 9/5 and the next day found out that we would get to keep our 3 grand-kids with us. I called Priceline and was told all I needed to do was call the motel and pay the difference for a room with a pull out which I was happy to do, I called the motel and was told Priceline would have make the switch. I called Priceline back and was told they could do nothing. I know there was no cancellation, I was just needing to upgrade but they wouldn't help me even though "Holly" said it wouldn't be a problem. Well the only problem now is who I will start using for the 10/15 times a year I need a room or a rental car because it sure as heck wont be Priceline
I had a flight booking using Priceline last year and it was booked 2 months in advance and it was such a good deal. Everything went smoothly and for that price, I was amazed so I say they are good for flights. The site was easy to use and they sent everything to my email.
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
