I purchased a monogram backpack for my daughter. After receiving the item the monogram was not done correctly and looked like $#*!. I emailed customer service and after a few days nothing. Called customer service after being on hold waiting to speak with someone for an hour was told to send the messed up backpack back and they would automatically ship out a new replacement once that was done. I sent it back. Days went by and nothing. Called customer service again to be told it was delivered. Nothing was outside checked with all my neighbors nothing. Called customer service again to be told no it was never delivered the order was still pending and never got reordered and told me she has no idea why the last person I spoke to said it was delivered. So she pushed the order through for me. Finally received the order and everything was great accept that I also got delivered someone else's backpack on accident. This company is a joke and they have no idea what they are doing. Stay away!
We recently moved and I changed my address in their system; however when I placed the order it went to the old house. There was no way for UPS help get it the couple of blocks it needed to go. When I found out I was not going to get it, I tried to order another set, but they were out of stock. Pottery Barn would not shipped what was return and told me that "I was out of luck!" I have a very disappointed Granddaughter and will likely never shop there again. Big disappointment.
I don't recommend shopping there. They aren't able to deliver the order. We were expecting a newborn and I ordered bunch of baby things and it took them to weeks to ship but shipment 1 of 2 was a box with blankets that only had two instead of three and shipment 2 of 2 had only one thing out of over a dozen things but their system somehow shows as everything delivered It took two attempts by email and failed attempt by phone to start a refund since everything that I ordered went out of stock! What a pain! I lost so much valuable time and got nothing in return. Definitely won't ever shop at pottery barn!
I purchased a kids small backpack, lunchbox and water bottle in the glow in the dark unicorn pattern. My order arrived a couple of days ago. My granddaughter was so excited to open the box as it was her birthday present. The lunchbox was as ordered (I had all three items monogrammed). The backpack's (not inexpensive) monogrammed name was not correct. The D in the name had been monogrammed below part of the D and was way off and the Y was completely missing. Very disappointed. It would seem quality control would have caught this and wondering if anyone else has had this happen? Since monogrammed items cannot be returned, I called the main number on the packing slip to as what to do to make this right. First I waited around 35 minutes. Second around 15 min and finally gave up. However, I then called a local store and the kind lady will refund me and I will buy another in the store and have it monogrammed there. Last time I'm ordering online. What happened to Pottery Barn? Employees not being trained to the standard one expects from this business. I ordered online to save gas and traffic as am 74 years old and do not like driving in the traffic in another town.
Ordered a bed 1 month ago. Have been given 4 different delivery dates. Have called customer service at least 5 times, and have waited up to a hour each time. Most recent call today; after waiting, transferred to get another department, and put on hold again. Still do not know when bed will be delivered, even though I've been charged already. Will not deal will rhis company again.
I purchased a crib from pottery barn in February and just received it now! JULY 5th! This crib was a shower gift to my son and daughter-in-law for their shower which came and went on June 26th! And was told after a million phone calls and hours on the phone different promise delivery dates! It actually took me 3 hours on the phone when I demanded for a supervisor to go to the hub and look for it since they told me they don't know where it is! Huh! Really?!?!? You're going to tell me that after I waited 5 MONTHS of waiting?!? I told her I was NOT getting off this phone until they found it! 3 hours later they found it and scheduled delivery FINALLY! If I didn't do that I would still be waiting! I told them I wanted to be compensated for the embarrassment of not having my shower gift on time and millions of phone calls, hours, aggravation it caused me! They said after my delivery you can call back we put it in our notes! I called back, I emailed several times the supervisor Carolina lady and she ignores my messages! I AM FED UP!
Very poor customer service,, I bought from the dubai mall branch and they only delivered my kids bed without the mattresses that I bought it with it,, there was 2 weeks delay in delivering the mattresses how can I use a bed without a mattress (which I purchased from them but they didn't deliver)! Then after the 2 weeks when they finally delivered the mattresses no proper compensation! Stay away from them
Pottery Barn Kids website is so bad for the baby registry that when and itwm is fulfilled, the quantity needed doesn't update right away and sonyour friends and family get duped into buying an item someone else has already bought for you! Because it s a gift item the store only offers store credit and so you're basically stuck with buying more from them even when you don't need it. I'm currently complaining to customer service and waiting on hold for over an hour now... ridiculous and appalling that a company of this size and stature can commit such sneaky consumer fraud. I will report it to the Federal Trade Commission in hopes they are forced into correcting it because no one in customer service seems to care to try to fix it.
PBK has no longer makes price adjustments. I bought a duvet and 2 pillow shams Monday evening and received an email after midnight saying it was on sale. I called for a price adjustment and was told PBK no longer does that. I can return it and buy again but I will lose the shipping fees. I was told 2 different stories about this but am very disappointed. My PBK on line shopping is over.
Horrible and worst customer service EVER! They charged my credit card twice for one item ( almost $400 each time) and instead of refunding it back to my credit card- gave me gift card which I have never asked for! Not only I will Never Ever buy anything from this company again but I will make sure people definitely know about my experience! They steal from people- what a shame!
I ordered a European pillowcase and matching comforter for my daughter in February, pillowcase arrived in March, it is now May and still no comforter. Always same reply to emails, can't say when it will be shipped. Have just requested a refund for product and $25 delivery fee. 12+ weeks is an absolute joke. Get your act together.

I ordered a backpack from PB Teen (Gear-up drip Painting) & it tore less than 3 months. The recycled bags are cheap, DO NOT BUY and waste your money! The backpack only housed lunch box and folder for a 2nd grader. I will not shop here again.

This company is pathetic! I just tried to return an item and they told me it was "final sale" and could not be returned! Where was this mentioned when purchased? No where! I am hearing about this for the FIRST time that this was final sale. I would have NEVER bought this blanket had I known! If your companies has a ridiculous no return policy on version items then there needs to be a warning that comes up when purchasing somewhere…I should not have been able to completely miss it. Now I have an poor quality uncomfortable expensive blanket that NO ONE wants! No wonder the store closed near me, I will never buy from this company again.
New moms beware! Here is where the baby dresser should be. As you can see I do not have this product so my changing pad sits on the floor. We have been waiting since last year and our baby is now over a month old with still no delivery in sight. We have called numerous times with no resolution. This item cost over $900 with out shipping included! And shipping cost is over another $100+ and is pointless to pay because you will never actually receive this item. Customer services was pointless. We spoke with the "manger of leadership" and apparently there is no higher ups to speak to after that. They offered no resolution discount or shipping discount for the time and aggravation spent being lied to and trying to track this product down for months! Yikes, save your money! Hopefully this saves another mom from going throw what we just experienced. Worst company to try and work with! I would take it off of your registry now!
After waiting through repeated delays for nearly 11 months, a call was placed. I was offered another order that could be made starting a month later. It was a quagmire of repeated phone calls to obtain a refund for my card that had been billed for the entire amount, now for 8 months.
I spent the big bucks on the Chelsea play kitchen for my grandkids thinking it would last and be passed down in the family. Well it lasted only a year before the front of the sink broke off. Turns out it's made of cheap mdf board tacked together with tiny nails. We tried glueing it but it didn't hold up to a 2 year olds play. Customer service was useless calling it normal wear and tear. Save your money and buy a kidcraft. This company doesn't back their overpriced kids toys.
Terrible customer service claiming a warehouse transition is the reason my 5 year old doesn't have her bunks. They say they will call you back they don't - I have been advised several times we will get the bunks before xmas 2021 - and no, we didn't and still don't.
The last call they thought the bunks were sent months ago... how hard is it to be a retailer and keep track of what you have and haven't delivered. The USA staff are nothing but rude - worst service ever
Beware, pottery Barn has removed item reviews from their website. Most likely because there are a lot of negative reviews online about their products being low quality or falling apart. I purchased a glow in the dark space themed sheet set, and after it arrived I realized the print is upside down on the flat sheet. I pulled up the item online to see if mine was defective, and I can totally tell that the stylist for the product photo shoot has the sheet wrong side up (print is very faded from the back) with the top flipped down over it to make the print look like it is the right side up. What in the actual hell. So they know it's messed up and they don't care and choose to sell it like that anyway…. Not shopping here anymore.
