So I picked out a chair and loveseat in Sept. My card was charged and the charge went through the items were custom and expensive. The charge then dropped off. I have had the delivery date moved three times for the loveseat. No issue I understand. The part that is so frustrating is there is no delivery date in the future an estimate is "around" March but they have now charged my card. So I am paying for a piece of furniture that may not come for who knows how long. I don't mind paying 4-6 weeks prior to delivery but Pottery Barn doesn't need to have my money with an open ended delivery date. I have spoken to two very pleasant unhelpful people. This needs to be addressed. I also wish my furniture was in my living room and all was well, but Pottery Barn doesn't need my money until I have a delivery date.
Thanks
Cheryl
If ordering furniture, be aware they use a separate delivery company and there's no communication. If there's an issue, good luck. Customer service sends you on a merry-go-round of calls. Every time you talk to a new agent and they have to read the notes and usually say the last agent did something wrong. I ordered the Soma Brady sectional back in June and was charged in July. They attempted delivery in Aug but clearly one of the sections of the couch was missing and they tried to deliver a different couch that didn't even match. Their customer service attempted at least 5 different replacement but by Dec, still no couch and no eta. And good luck getting a refund - they can't seem to figure it out. I'll probably have to call my credit card company. All in all, I've spent countless hours on the phone with pottery barn and still no refund, no apology, no one trying to make it right. Absolutely terrible experience.
DON'T BUY! I purchased settings for eight, after two months of wear plates and bowls show scratches from silverware. According to PB this is 'normal wear and tear' and they won't provide a refund or replacement. They look worse than the set I replaced that I had for over 10 years! I expected more from PB - Save your money!
Never got mt refund for a returned items despite extensive email communication wuth costumer service, that assures the refund was issued via merch card...
Scam!
Don't even think about buying anything from them, you can say good buy to you $$ once they charge your credit card.
Pottery Barn does not have military discounts and free shipping. Not good. Terrible. Horrible customer service
So I bought a duvet cover Nov. 28. I waited two weeks and it still hasn't moved or they didn't provide any tracking. I called customer service. I spoke to a sweet man. He said the hub that was close to me wasn't doing their job so their manager was going to get that taken care of and add rush shipping to my order. He told me I would get a follow up call and I never got it. I called again last week and she said they would call me in the business days. Still haven't received the call. I guess I'll never get it. Thanks pottery barn. First time customer and you ruined it. Don't waste your time with them.
I purchased 2 sets of pottery barn teen sheets. The colors are great and they stay bright with washng... but unless you want to seep on wrinkled burlap. Never buy these. They were 75 bucks apiece and customer service would do nothing about my complaint except give m 10 percent off on another purchase... haha... no way!
I ordered a gift of 9 candle holders and a personalized tray all at full retail price and they charged shipping on top of that. Before receiving merchandise it went on sale and I called for a price adjustment. They will not honor any price adjustments. Since it was shipped as a gift out of state I could not return.
I would give it a minus number but not able too. Order was messed up so i had to call back. Asked for a supervisor which meant a 50 minute wait on hold. Supervisor promised to correct the problem and call me back in an hour and a good discount on my expensive order. 3 hours later no call back yet so called again and was told that the lady i talked to was having lunch and could not be reached. Next supervisor promised to correct the problem which she finally did after an hour and a half of being on the line with her. She promised a call back from another supervisor with an explanation and discount. 2 weeks later and still waiting for the call back and discount. The 4 headboards we were going to order are going to another business.
I ordered a rug online 3 weeks ago and Pottery Barn sent me the wrong one. After dealing with them for half an hour on the phone they agreed to have UPS pick up the rug. However, UPS showed up and refused to take the rug because it had been opened. I had to pay to repackage it and re-schedule UPS to come back to pick it up. Meanwhile, Pottery Barn did not send me a replacement rug even though they promised to do so. After two weeks of waiting I called them, and found that they had canceled my order without refunding my credit card. Pottery Barn is completely incompetent. I will never shop there again.
Trying to buy something online. First I click on a piece advertised via email, and it is out of stock. When I finally find something suitable, I spend an hour trying to get the order placed. My fault in wasting the time, their fault in not designing a system that makes a purchase easy. There are too many other options. They don't get it.
I ordered two pieces from Pottery Barn and one arrived the other didn't. The order suggested that both were delivered! I followed up everyday for 7 days and was told the other piece would arrive yesterday. The truck arrived for a pick up! I called customer service again and was then given another phone number. I tried calling and left three messages. I then emailed and finally got a response. I then was told they could only deliver now after Dec 18th! Ridiculous! And they gave me three dates but could not confirm a time. Are you kidding me.
Also I ordered another piece that said it was in stock and I would receive it Dec 7th. I got an email two days ago saying it wouldn't be here until Dec 29th! Are you frigging kidding me? I would not have ordered this carpet had I known it was going to be so late. I am done with Pottery Barn.
Received a Vintners Wine Opener as a gift. It looks nice, but it came broken. I'm pretty sure its a clone of a major brand with replacement parts. They can't provide parts, so the second time it breaks, I'm out of luck and parts of it are designed to wear out.
The replacement got "lost" in their system. They are nice every time, but its a pain to work with them.
I went to their store and ordered this bed I was told will take couple of weeks, this was sep21,2021 still waiting, I called customer service just bunch of excuses I will be happy if they're honest than lying to me and give me the run around, getting emails from them telling me it's on it's way BUT of course it's another lie! Why bother sending these emails? Almost 4months and no bed! But lesson learned never Again will I shop with them
I placed an order and did not receive a confirmation. I phoned two times (on hold for a while). They did charge my cc. Pottery Barn has gone down hill, too bad.
Ordered bulk fresh flowers for an event. They delivered the fresh flowers ordered 2 weeks before the event! Called them & returned the 5/6 boxes flowers & they said they would refund me since it was not my fault the third party delivered much TOO EARLY for the event. They only refunded me $188.80 of the $389.40 they charged to my card. I have filed a dispute for the missing $200.60 to no avail. They will give you the run around. Transfer you from one person to another & hung up. I have ordered from Costco & from Sam's for my events & they are just amazing!
DO NOT BUY FROM POTTERY BARNS! They are HORRIBLE, FRAUDULENT, UNETHICAL!
I have had a dreadful experience with Pottery Barn. Ordered table in February, paid in full, long lead time and we waited patiently. Supposed to be delivered in early summer. Never came. Started communicating with them and they said we need to re-order from the "vendor". By October still no delivery. Refund requested. They asked for ten days to work it out with the vendor. Didn't hear back from them. Every time I ask for an update they apologies profusely and blame the "vendor". Today was my deadline and they again said they need a few days. They have had over $1,000 since February and I can't get the item or my money back. I will never order from Pottery Barn again and recommend that you think twice before ordering from them.
After waiting nearly a month for two pricey curtain panels, I learned that not only did Pottery Barn mail an empty box to me, but they took it upon themselves to return one of the two panels I ordered for no reason whatsoever. So, even if I can get them to re-send what I ordered, I'd have to wait for a gift card (which may or may not arrive), and use it to order again. They are doing nothing to compensate me for their screw-up or the time I've spent with multiple calls and emails trying to straighten this mess out.
Was having major health problems and saw where Pottery Barn would help design a room was part of their advertising. I tried with three different so called designers an got no help after sending pictures of things I was trying to match. I got no help from Pottery Barn at all. I finally called a business in my town and person actually came to my home and has worked with me for three months creating a space for me. I would never buy anything from Pottery Barn after the way I was treated. It was very depressing with all I was going through.
If I could give zero stars I would. I place a $2,000+ order for dining chairs on November 18th. I logged into my account this date to check the status and noted my order was canceled. I placed call to customer service and was told the order was canceled because Pottery Barn left a voicemail for me requesting call back on November 20th by 5pm or order would be canceled. They stated I would need to re-order myself online. I NEVER received a voicemail stating this information nor did they attempt to reach me by other methods of communication. Very disappointed in this company and will not be purchasing from them again.
Answer: Same, was told we would have a light first week of October, now December also. I hope they do go under. Don't get me started on the last thing I bought for $999, then the price changed to $499. So angry, will NEVER shop there again.
Answer: We have the same problem. Our couch is two years old and we will need to replace it this year. Back Cushions are rumpled and seat cushions have a ton of little piling.
