This whole company is set up to get as much money from customers, without their consent (changing prices of orders AFTER they've been delivered). Plus they make it almost impossible to actually get in touch with customer service. They send you through loops and loops of links to FAQ "articles" when you think you're clicking on an option to submit a claim. Totally backwards, and obviously on purpose. I will never use this service again.

Hassle and scam

I had the same promo experience where I signed up under the guise of a promo code that they then wouldnt honor. It took me several emails and proof if the code before they finally agreed to apply it. The order was all wrong. Comically wrong and they charge was still wrong. Several customer service people later and no result. They are clearly in a business where they dont care about their jobs or their customers. Buyer beware!

Too much $

Ordered food, $52.00 a lot for Chinese for two people right? Looked at credit card statement charged $67.54 OMG! Sent email asking why and got auto email back stating if food is ordered from a restaurant not on their list there are extra fees. Thats it? Really. Dont use this service!

They should be thrown out of business. I ordered dinner and after 45 minutes when it was supposed to be here, they sent me an email saying it wasn't coming. They were sorry and would use my 140 dollars for the next order. DO NOTUSE THEM

Worst service ever!

I was very sick so i decided to give a try to postmates. I ordered a soup and other food for me and my old mom to eat. Well I received half of the order for sure NO SOUP. They charged me for everything. We gave the tip to the driver. When I opened the packages I realized that we were missing half of the order and try to get in touch with the driver and the postmates company but impossible. I wrote many letters to the company but one week later and no one responded. I had to call a family member to bring us the food we wanted. I would never use it again and i will ask everyone to never try it. You will lose your money if they do not bring your complete order. The Postmates company do not care about you. We should have negative starts because Postmates deserves 10 negative stars!

Signed up for Postmates using a promo code created via an advertising deal they have with YouTuber Philip DeFranco that was supposed to get me $100 in free delivery credit to try the service. First order had the fees comped, 2nd and 3rd orders did not. Contacted the company, they told me the code was created by a 3rd party coupon site and was not approved by Postmates - total lie. Then a few days later they told me that the promo code expired 12/12/2017, which shouldn't have mattered since I signed up 2 months prior, and my orders were mostly prior to that date as well. But it's also another lie because that same YouTuber was using the promo code in their video posted on 12/18/2017. So this company baited & switched me through this advertising deal, definitely not the kind of business you should be giving your money to, no matter how good, and how convenient the service is. There are other options.

Ordered in advance because I was doing a early shift and didn't want to prep lunch. I've been waiting around for my food to arrive, usually when someone drops off food they would let someone know but no one said anything. The driver claimed he waited at least 5 mins before leaving. What the hell. I contacted support and they said I have to pay for the food and service. I was literally robbed because I didn't get my food and I get charged for it; so where's the food? The driver probably enjoying his free meals. This is a crooked company with dishonest people. NEVER USE POSTMATE!

They over charged me $5! I paid $28 for a $23 lunch PLUS I tipped her $3 so I really paid $31 for a simple lunch platter. And I cant contact anyone for my money back. This is a $#*!ing joke.

Do not use this service there is no way to call or chat to customer service. I order my food 2 hours ago. Soen the last hour trying to contact them I finaly cintacted them via twiter and they tokd me there was a probem with my order an they had to cancel. They also offer you credut abd never give it to you

App said there was a problem with my card, I check my statements, there was no problem with them taking $50 out of my account, only with actually delivering the food. Disputing through my bank now, might never get refunded. Thanks guys, real great service you're running...

Waited outside my apartment for 10 minutes for my food, but Postmates never came to my actual address. They sent me a text saying "Your postmate is here at the address. Please collect your order." I had filled out my exact address and wrote specific directions in the comment section in the order, but when I looked at the map, he was on the other side of the complex. Why couldn't he have called me?
So I submit a complaint, and then got a response with their delivery policy. I explain my story and gave them a suggestion on how to improve their service, but they still couldn't refund me. I kept explaining my story with four different custom service professionals and asked why they couldn't just refund me.

Postmates used to be like Amazon service reps, where even with the smallest issue, they would compensate or credit me somehow.
I was a regular Postmates customer, but after this incident, I'm done with them.

Worst app I saw in this lifetime, the discounts never worked for me. Today they did multiple transactions on my card for one order and the order not placed. The funny part is they don't have customer care number to contact them. I am deleting this app now.

My last 4 orders were changed without contacting me, the new order total forced 2 additional fees onto the total, not just the failure to get what you ordered. I know, 4 times, shame on me. Won't happen again.

When they cancel it tales 5 days to get your money back and they play stupid. You can go in and do a pre-authorization reversal. I will NEVER use Postmates again! Rip off. They got $150 of my money for 5 days. I am left with $5 in my account to get food for my 3 kids. Horrible customer service too! Any chance i get i will be writing this review on every site. RIP OFF!

To be honest, I have never use that a delivery company was existing before. Never heard of them. I never use them for food or anything. My girlfriend is the one who has been using the postmate app for her need. Just yesterday, November 10th she did order some chicken ( for a total of 19 dollar) online using my Navy Federal debit card. First of all, the delivery was expensive, the deliver was rude, mean and unprofessional at all. I was shocked but I let it go because I want you please her and there is nothing I could do about it. Second, it was not the drink she ordered. Later, I checked my account I found that I was missing money. I checked my recent transaction, I was charged 4 times by POSTmate. 29 box for each transaction. My bank let me know I have to press charge because that was a fraud. Be careful people, do not use this app at all. They are going to robbed y'all.

BRUTAL

Almost every time they get my order wrong, or if my food is no longer available at the store they are picking up from I AM STILL CHARGED. When I talk to the driver on the phone they will tell me that I wont be charged... but Im still charged. When I e mail after the payment ACTUALLY POSTS to my account (no longer pending) they tell me I am outside of the 48 hour rule... even if I would rate and say that my food never arrived on the same frickin day! This company is BRUTAL and UNRELIABLE. Even if they were reliable, their prices are outrageous. UBER EATS ALL THE WAY!

I use to order from them and never had a problem now all of a sudden they pre authorize your card double what your spending and they say its to assure the money can cover the order. This is bs and then it takes damn near 5 days to get back on your card. Im not sure if they were being scammed or not but I wont be using this service anymore.
