I ordered tonight from little ceasers not only did my food never come after the site stated it was delivered there was no number to call the driver to find out were my food is now lets see if I get my refund

Placed an order that was originally priced at $27 (with a hold of $34). I wake up this morning and find my card was charged $57 for this same order, apparently because it was a non-Partner venue that I ordered from. Seriously? Who in their right mind would go ahead with the order knowing they would be charged DOUBLE the original price? Postmates are crooks!

I ordered food for my disabled father from a restaurant near his house. It was confusing when ordering through google; I didnt realize I marked "pick up" instead of "delivery"... which I thought Postmate is picking up the item right... wrong? An hour later my father called to advise the food had not arrived... I checked the "tracker" and it stated picked up! When I called the restaurant... the order had not been picked up, cold and I reordered. I was charged twice! Postmates refuses to refund me the money for the first order! I paid directly to the restaurant on the second order... they scammed my father! This service is so dishonest... it should explain the difference

Horrible service

This service is a joke, especially the Unlimited service. Total scam. Placed an order for pick up and delivery 6 hours ahead of time for a medium-sized group at a public event. The order didn't arrive until 2 hours after the agreed upon delivery time and so, of course, the guests gave up. Customer support was nonexistent and designed so that you can't contact them more than once - brilliant strategy bros. We're working hard to spread the word here... do not use this service.

I guess they threw our meals away? Was our first time trying Postmates. Is the last time. Going back to Uber Eats and Grub Hub. (Would post pictures as "proof" but what do I post? A picture of an empty plate?) Oh. And they put a $50 "hold" on our bank account.

1st and LAST time to use this service! Husband ordered from Hooters website for delivery and Postmates was the chosen service. Order was supposed to be delivered in 37 min. Order was placed at 4:25PM. Postmates sent a text to him at 5:24PM that the order had just been picked up and delivered within 1 min (not sure how that is possible because it was a 20 min drive to the restaurant). Finally, the driver called him at 5:45 PM and stated that she couldn't find the apartment and was leaving. He told her to turn around and he would come to the office to pick it up. Food was cold, and missing two wings(ordered 10, got 8... I am sure that there were 10 in the box when it left Hooters). I called Hooters and talked to the manager, who apologized profusely for the issue and refunded the entire order without question. Manager also told me that she would suggest using Uber Eats instead next time. She said that they have had many complaints with Postmates delivery.

I cancelled my postmates unlimited membership in October 2016. Fast forward to July 2019 and this company is still somehow charging my credit card $9.99 a month for an unlimited delivery service. Every month I have to contact American Express and dispute this charge. I even logged into my postmates account and it shows my membership to unlimited is inactive. There is no way to contact them. I won't even get into the reason I cancelled my account years ago... shame on Postmates!

My dad's debit card was used fraudulently at this and other food sites. Postmates did a quick investigation and determined it was fraud and refunded his money. (Grubhub refused to provide a refund after they determined it was fraud)

Why is service fee $1-2 with one order and then $10 or more on next order? Same with delivery fees. Why can't there be just be one price that is clearly published?

Their website is so screwed up that in order to advance to another page, you have to pay a tip (again) to the last driver, thereby costing you double costs. Postmates customer service will not rectify this problem. STAY AWAY! Door Dash is better.

Waited hours to receive my food and then got a message that my food was here and had been dropped off! I went in the app to check where my driver was and the only thing it would let me do is tip... so I did! Sure enough the lady dropped my food off at the wrong place and I tried to call her and see where see was or what place she dropped it off at and there is absolutely no way to contact you driver or Postmates so I just got to starve

I received a promo code offer to try out Postmates which, I made the biggest mistake of doing! I placed my order which, totaled $53 not including the promo code. First I received a notice they cancelled my order due to an item being unavailable so I resubmitted the order and took of the item. I received my order 20 minutes late and the app. Asked me to tip on the $143.00 bill? WAIT WHAT?! I checked my bank account and sure enough they put a hold on the original order plus a little more totaling $63 and then charged my account for another $123.00. I looked all over the app for a phone number to call and of course it is email only. I received canned responses the first one was we are sorry you had issues with your promo code. Um that is not what my email said so I replied "READ MY EMAIL" My order was 100% double the cost it showed when I ordered. I received another canned response "Prices are estimated and we will only pay the restaurant what they charged us". This is not acceptable and if you list prices on your site it should be honored I would not have ordered from you at the prices you are charging me and you added a $22 service fee and to top matters off the "new customer" promo code you said was applied to my order and showed -$15 no longer was applied to the order. I have emailed many times and asked for a call back which, has never happened. I will be fighting the charge through my bank.

Postmate is a scam

Honestly when i first started this seemed like a great way to make money. I referred it to a couple of friends and when they signed up and completed the 45th delivery, postmate refused to give me my bonus each time. Its slow and orders are hard to come by.

I ordered from Panera Bread directly today. Their website indicated my order would be delivered by Postmates with an estimated timeframe, 12:43-12:53pm. At 1:15pm, I called the restaurant to inquire about my order. I had just clicked the Track My Order button on my confirmation email, and the next page indicated: Delivery attempted 7/3/2019 at 12:13PM. Customer Not Available. I PLACED THE ORDER@ 12:13PM.

The store manager was very nice, pulled up my order immediately. After a brief hold, she came back to advise me they were not able to contact the driver, but if it was ok with me, she'd get my order prepared again, and she'd deliver personally. We are a large business location, and Panera Bread caters for us regularly so there's no trouble locating us and since the location is only 5-6 minutes from us, I agreed. Within 15 minutes she was there, with my order! She was very apologetic but I assured her this incident would not keep me away from Panera Bread. She left and we ate.

But what happened to the original order? Was it actually prepared and taken from the restaurant? We'll never know. All I know is that I'm going to email Panera Bread right now and plead with them to either use their own delivery service or get a much better one. They deserve better than this.

And fortunately, I did not download Postmates app, otherwise I'm sure I would have been charged the same exorbitant fees I've been reading about here. All I was charged was $4 and that is a small amount to keep me away from Postmates.

Scammers!

The app is very misleading... it doesn't give you the option to choose your choice of protein. It will automatically add a selection if you don't... but how can you choose not meat if it won't allow you to do so? Then it selects a protein for you! The app is rigged! They are a bunch of crooks! I ordered 5 eggs and cheese sandwiches (no bacon) and only received 4 and when I called after waiting on hold for 35 min the lady was rude and said I only ordered 4! They change your order! I know I'm not trippin! I know how to order food online... it's not rocket science! Please don't use this app! They will not refund my money because of technicalities! Not even a curtesy refund! Never never never again!

I have a restaurant, and was contacted numerous times by Postmates, until I relented and decided to give the program a try. Once the tablet was delivered to me, the customer service STOPPED. Many promises were made, but none were kept. I have attempted to return the tablet for THREE WEEKS, but good luck reaching someone. If you haven't signed up, do your homework. It is a totally unprofessional company.

First order was $75 in food + $46! In service fee + tip + delivery fee. When we complained about all the additional fees they charged us (after telling us the estimated fee was $5) they suggested we pay an additional $90 fee for their unlimited service. Last time for us, avoid postmates like the plague. (Food was late 2 hours by the way)

If you must use this app, be careful and document every step of your ordering process - this app is not to be trusted.

1. Prices shown on the app were different from what I was charged. I was not shown a subtotal. I thought I ordered $26 worth of food - instead I was charged a subtotal for the food of $51 - almost double!

2. Delivery fee is already high of $5.99 - I was shown that and accepted it.

3. After placing my order, maybe 10 minutes later, another SERVICE FEE of $10.23 was added. This was NOT shown to me before placing my order, otherwise I would never have accepted or ordered from this app.

4. Delivery was supposed to be at 9:20pm but my food did not arrive until 40 minutes later - at 10:00pm.

5. One item of my order was missing upon delivery.

To resolve all these issues, I went through a long, lengthy process. I was refunded immediately for the item not delivered. The rest of the process was much more of a headache.

I sent the app screenshots via email of my subtotal shown to me, which was $26, versus what the restaurant said. The Postmates customer service rep said that because the restaurant was "not a partner", prices varied. So I just gave up and paid the $51.

However, I was not ready to accept the exorbitant service fee. I was told that the app "always" shows the fee prior to checkout - which is apparently 19.99% of your total bill! I said I was DEFINITELY not shown this. After going back and forth emailing the app, and threatening to write all the negative reviews online, they finally agreed to refund the service fee as a "one-time courtesy".

I will never use this app again - would rather walk a mile and pick up my food. The headache and scam is not worth it.
