I ordered a 50 dolars Michael kors shoulder bag, pay with PayPal. Never got it. Forget about calling them. Never answer or reply to your messages. SCAMS!
I ordered shoes on this website, in there terms and conditions it says if the item doesn't match the description I can return it and get the money back, I received a fake item and they just refused the return without any explanation just saying the item doesn't qualify for a return. I asked for a contact number and they don't even bother to reply.
I only sell authentic items. Everything I own is real, purchased straight from the store. Most items I have were way before the internet even was. All my James Avery jewelry was purchased at the James Avery Store here in Austin Texas. They keep records of all your purchases as well. Well Poshmark removed 2 of my listings of James Avery retired rings sighting they were counterfeit. Excuse me what?! When I asked for more details of what they were saying, Michelle at Poshmark came back and stated that James Avery contacted them directly. Oh really? He did? I had my personal attorney call the James Avery corporate store in Kerrville Texas. They did not go onto Poshmark and no one contacted them. Poshmark has some shady practices and I was advised from my attorney to not use this business as it is not reputable. Removed all my items and profile. Will not be doing any business with a company like this. Crooks and liars.
I was excited at first to list all my items to sell, then suddenly my whole profile disappeared! I had an authentic purse listed and it sold, well after I shipped the item posh said that it was fake. I bought this purse from the actual store and no way was it fake. Then my sale was cancelled by posh and now I have to send $20 to them to send me my item back! Or they said my purse would be "destroyed" if I did not pay.
Good idea for a site but the customer service is so lacking. For the high commission they take from a sale, it is extremely frustrating to not have a contact number to call, emails take 48 hrs plus to get responses. I would use this more as a selling forum if the customer service existed, but it provides too much distance between seller and buyer. Comments made to me do not even get to me by email so I have to go to the site all the time. As a seller, I have made sales (good) but it is a very time consuming & frustrating when there is an issue needing a response & email is the only resource, then wait.
Ive been on Poshmark for over two years. I started as a buyer and then decided to sell. I was able to make sales every month that helped with groceries, etc. I always had people following my closet, liking and sharing my pieces. Poshmark decided to roll out a new program called Posh Ambassador and everything went to hell. Sales completely dried up. People werent getting shares of their closets. Shares werent showing in the feed. Its a total nightmare. It seems like new Posh members are the only ones getting exposure and those that built the brand from the beginning are getting the shaft. Many, many members are closing their closets and moving to other platforms. Many of us have reached out to Posh headquarters only to get canned responses that dont address the issues at all. Its actually disgraceful. Its no longer worth my effort and time to sell on Posh. Im going to put my closet on vacation for an indefinite period of time and look for alternative solutions to this travesty.
I sold a pricey coat, that was existing! I packed it up nicely a mailed right away. There was no way to simply track the package. Poshmark tell you it is on the way... and then when it is delivered. Next thing I see the person that bought the coat gives me a one star rating a note that they did not get the coat! So now I have a bad rating and have no idea where the coat is.
This is the second time I have had a bad experience on poshmark... I will be starting away!
I bought an item that was, obviously, sized very wrong but when I tried to return it, they said they don't accept returns. I was shocked and will never shop here again!
I ordered a pair of True Religion Jeans from Poshmark. The seller told me they were in excellent used condition. They were disgusting and had fresh skidmarks on them. I contacted the seller and asked for a refund and she immediately blocked me. I opened three cases with Poshmark and they ignored me until the grace period had expired. They told me they couldn't do anything because the grace period had ended. They don't seem to care that they have people who wear jeans with no underwear, crust the jeans all up and then ship them out! Absolutely disgusting and unhygienic!
The site is great, as long as you don't need customer support. If you do, good luck with that. Not sure if they're short staffed or if they need to retrain staff. Either way it's extremely frustrating.
Stick with EBay! Customer service stinks I ordered jeans from Their site. The jeans described were a 32 inseam were really a 33 inseam and wouldnt let me return them. Would never recommend this site!
Stick with Ebay, Poshmark has screwed me multiple times in that I have purchased several things and only ever received about half. Most sellers give very little info on their listings, and wont answer questions when you ask.
Purchased 3 items within a few months. First item seller cancelled it, second item never sent, and 3 item sent an empty box! What the heck! I found some cute things not available on ebay but hesitant to make another purchase.
I made a Poshmark account and I always thought it was a little TOO easy and kinda sketch but I finally decided to buy a Vera Bradley wallet bc it was in great condition... sure enough, less than an hour after putting in my credit card info, my info was stolen and purchases were being made in California (where the seller lives). Guys, it's really not a safe app to be putting your credit card info and based on lots of other reviews here scams are pretty frequent. DO NOT USE.
I purchased new shoes from a seller on Poshmark. When arrived, they ran VERY small for 8.5. Requested a return, Poshmark denied request, said the ad specified sizing may vary. Total rip off.
I've had a great experience using this app! It's fun, interesting, educational and provides a great opportunity to shop and sell. PM continues to make updates for its users. I've made WAY more on here with excellent feedback than I could make reselling at a thrift store! It's beneficial that u, a buyer and seller, have complete control regarding pricing. It's seldom I've had to return items due to misrepresentation. But if that's the fact, PM sees that I r reimbursed. I've found this app 2 be a complete joy. But, as always. Buyer beware of items that r replicas! PM can't screen EVERYTHING. They do a superb job running this business while providing one with privacy as well.
I've been using poshmark for a while as a seller (never have bought anything), and after realizing how easy it is for a customer to scam a seller, I'm done with them. I've given them a lot of business through selling multiple items and they refuse to help me. I sold a tee shirt that I got at a Beyonce concert that isn't for sale anymore for a generous $10 even though I've only worn it twice. I sent it out the very next day and they received it 2 days later. Then they reported there was a problem, so the funds were put on hold. I asked the buyer what the issue was and they said they weren't able to receive the package because I used the wrong packaging. Okay, that was my bad. But the solution told to them by poshmark AND the post office was to refuse the package. It would be sent back to me and then me and the buyer agreed I would repackage it and resend it to them. But they never sent it back. And the buyer will no longer respond to me on the matter, totally ignoring me. So obviously, they scammed me. They've kept their money and they probably have the shirt. I've messaged Poshmark multiple times over the course of 2 weeks about the issue and I've received NOTHING. Complete silence. They won't respond at all. So if it's this easy for a buyer to scam a seller out of the money and the item, I'd warn everyone to stay away from selling, and probably buying too. Go to a consignment shop to sell your stuff, this app isn't worth it. That shirt was purchased by me for $45. $#*!ing ridiculous.
I order a turtleneck sweater and the seller drop the ball on this one it's been more than seven days and no product. I should have read the reviews first. They won't get my business EVER AGAIN.
I have sent Poshmark 2 emails inquiring how I block my "closet" from all the clutter that they send me in the form of emails and how I block the items that I have for sale from offers, which I am not interested in. I have received no answer to either email. The offers that I have received are insulting and ridiculous. $20 for a brand new pair of $800 Manolo Blahniks? Really? ( I had them priced at $90) $30 for a Fendi Cashmere jacket that is perfect and retailed for about $800? ( I had it priced at $95) And then I get to give Poshmark 20% right off of the top? My impression is that potential buyers on Poshmark want something really high end and want to pay nothing for it. And the Poshmark fees? I thought eBay was bad. Poshmark gets 20% right off of the top. And then when someone puts one of my items in their cart Poshmark emails me and wants me to send them a discounted offer? Poshmark doesn't care what I get for my items--they just want the sale to get a commission. All of my items will be canceled and I will close my account forever and never return
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
