I purchased a purse that was advertised as "NWT Leather White Purse" from a so called Posher called plussizegirl... It was smaller than described, tan instead of white and new without tag. It also had a folding defect. You would think Poshmark took my side, they did not. This business is FULL of scammers. DO NOT USE. They are not guaranteeing anything and your purchasing is not safe. I closed my account and will never return. Will do business only with Ebay and Amazon instead!
I have been trying to log in for 3 days to see where my order is,,, i have the correct password and email but my sign in keeps being rejected. I will never order from them again.
Awesome site! I've been buying and selling on Poshmark for a year now, and never had any problems.
You buy clothes from PEOPLE... not businesses. So prices are great and you can communicate any questions before any purchase.
Exact measurements are typically listed on each item so there is no guessing about shrinkage. And if measurements are not listed... you can ask the seller!
The app is super easy to use... for buying and selling.
There are some old listings and stagnant sellers that stop using the app, so you should be sure what you are buying is newly listed (it is real easy to see when the item was listed/edited).
This is where ALL the complaints from people not getting their item come from. It's because they do not check if the listing is old or not. It's like trying to buy an item from a catalogue printed years ago.
Also... it is not like eBay where you "rent" clothing and then return it. You should only buy something if you want to keep it. Returns are allowed however only if there are problems... not because you wanted to wear it once only, or have buyers remorse.
Lastly... it's not amazon and your item won't arrive tomorrow. Sellers are given up to 7 days to ship your order (however most ship within 2 days). If your item does not ship in 7 days Poshmark automatically refunds your $.
Once shipped all items travel via Priority Mail... 2-3 days shipping time MAX!
Overall... GREAT deals! GREAT app!
Bought a pair of new sandals. When I tried them on they hurt the bottoms of my feet. I tried to return them and their customer service said they would not that I should not have purchased the wrong size! I did not purchase the wrong size! The quality of the sandals is so poor that they hurt the bottoms of both feet. Then they asked me to resell them! Really! Poor customer service. Any company that will not accept returns is not a company I want to purchase from. I have put a dispute in with my credit card company.
This website is very, very nasty.
I've never heard of them. I've never initiated any contact with them of any kind.
And yet they send me email after email after email.
Where the hell did they get my email address?
I certainly never gave it to them. I don't even know who they are.
They must have bought it from someone.
Stay away from this nasty website, everyone! They have no respect for people.
Bought a pair of AirPods and the seller sends me a pair that are completely awful! Not as described and in horrible condition! I open a case, get Poshmark to approve my case and sent them back. Now the seller says I didn't return all the parts when I did! Luckily I took a video of putting all the pieces back in the box and into the shipping package and emailed Poshmark with this. We shall see what happens but their customer service is AWFUL and taking FOREVER on an expensive purchase!
This is an online garage sale where everyone is looking for a bargain and many of the users are resellers. It also attracts con artists. You take time and effort to post your goods at reasonable prices and then people make offers off half of what you are selling it for and most likely will turn around and resell it. You get a lot of requests for more info and additional pictures from people who have no intention of buying the product anyway. Poshmark takes 20% of every sale and in return provides you a free shipping label. That's great for things under $40 but you are selling high end merchandise or jewelry you are better of on EBay. PM doesn't even filter out the con artists even though they give you a place to report them.
I am talking about the new Poshmark Canada site. I really have to filter to find something reasonable. Pretty pathetic because I know that poshMark in the states is more reasonable. Canadians you need to lower your prices in because they are comparable to brand new and if that's the case everybody will just go onto eBay.
I am a Poshmark Buyer & Seller. I've had great transactions every time. After reading all the negative reviews regarding disappointed buyers, I decided to post my review. In order to buy online, you must make sure you know your measurements very well and read listings all the way through. Not all size XL's or size 12's are the same. Also when purchasing shoes, ask the seller for the measurements! Length & width, request pictures of the item with the ruler verifying the measurement. All of my listings include measurements and pictures. As a seller, I am more than happy to answer any questions and I also ask sellers questions to ensure that I am happy with my purchase. If the seller is not responsive, it is best to move on. There are a lot of reputable sellers and there are a lot of scam sellers. Please protect yourself when purchasing from any online site. Hope this helps someone. I know it can be frustrating to receive an item that you can not use and enjoy
Do not give them any high end items.
They keep it under the guys of being not real
And ask you for 200$ to get it back
It's a total scam!
They only redo d to email which is a total scam! Do not use this website!
Awful service with awful customer service. There is no customer service at all. Sellers are rude and never return anything. Sellers name DianaGutanu blocked me two times. I paid $100 for sneakers that is awful color and too big for size 8.5. My daughter cannot use them and she denied my request for return. She keeps blocking me. My daughter uses 8.5 size sneakers but the sneakers we got fits me shoe size 9.5. I keep asking her to accept my request because I cannot afford to buy another pair of shoes for my daughter and she keeps blocking me.
My First and last time ordering off Poshmark. My package never came and no one responded to my email. No phone number nothing. Its sooo freaking irritating getting the run around
Poshmark online ordering is misleading! I went online to find sunglasses. I found one that I liked and ordered them. It was easy and fast.
Surprise! I was duped! I received the glasses but they were prescription 1.75 sun glasses. I don't want or need prescription glasses. It was NOT described in the ad line. They're just sunglasses. So I didn't read the details. They're just sunglasses. Now Poshmark will not take them back. Horrible service and extremely misleading!
Too many sellers never ship items that have been paid for. Thank goodness Poshmark offers refunds when that happens.
I was a new Poshmark buyer and purchased boots that were labeled in the listing as a size 7 and once received the tag said size 6.5 and obviously too small. In addition the buyer showed the tag with a price of $80 but on the flip side it showed they were purchased for $30. Emailed Poshmark twice as well as the buyer. No response. The site is a scam.
I purchased an item on Poshmark. I felt safe because they said they would not release my money until I received the item and I was satisfied.
Well I wasn't satisfied because it didn't fit. I asked for a return because it wasn't something I could wear.
After about 6 days Poshmark sends me an email:
We have reviewed the case you submitted for order "Home + Femme Coco Chanel Sweater". Unfortunately, this case does not qualify for a return because:
- Unfortunately, Poshmark does not support returns based on fit
- Moving forward, we suggest asking clarifying questions such as exact measurements before purchasing
- Welcome to relist in closet
IT IS CLOTHING. The only way to know if something will really fit YOU is to try it on! So no matter how many questions I could have asked the seller it still would have been an issue with will it FIT ME.
I wear s size medium to small in all other clothing. I purchased a medium. The way this runs I would have had to get a Large to Extra Large.
But regardless, they are in the gently worn/used clothing business. NOT having a way to return items based on fit is unacceptable.
Oh they did say I can resell it. WHY would I trust this website again? I would not.
I have filed a complaint with the BBB and I will be contacting my credit card company.
I placed 4 orders on Poshmark on 6/17. (New customer) 2 of them were charged to my debit card but have not shipped AND 1 of those 2 orders was double charged - seller cancelled order stating item no longer available after 1st payment received then exact same charge was again taken from my account the next day. The other order I was supposed to get a $10 credit for joining but that seller has also never shipped items. No refunds are pending for those 2 orders. I won't use or recommend Poshmark again. (My other 2 orders are ALREADY received and I was very happy with them, hence 2 stars instead of 1.)
I had a terrible experience buying expensive shoes on Poshmark that were misrepresented yet both the seller and the website do NOTHING to support the customer and I am stuck with these unwearable shoes. I will never shop there again and warn you against shopping there too. Shocked and dismayed by the treatment and judging from all the negative reviews, I'm not the only one.
I'm new to Poshmark and have made a few sales in the past couple months. What I don't understand is why Poshmark states "Most buyers accept their orders the same day" when I have had to wait the full 3 days for buyers to accept their purchases. 3 days is ENTIRELY TOO LONG for a buyer to hold merchandise to make up their mind if they want to keep it. I'm currently waiting on a buyer to accept a pair of shoes and hope they don't cancel the order based on other reviews I've read. Also, I've participated in a several Posh Parties and my items are never on display. What's with that? Might be switching to E-bay :(
I purchased a romper that I could not put my arms into the sleeves due to the way it was made total malfunction no buttons or zipper unless, I was a contortionist I wouldn't be able to wear it. They refuse to let me return it for a refund. They just lost a good customer over $36 bucks!
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
