Wish I could've given no stars anyway this website is terrible won't ever do business with this company ever again rip-off sellers and fake advertising you may NEVER get what you pay for: I paid for several items and never received them then was given a hard time through PayPal trying to get my money back, Do yourselves a favor and never ever shop here: I'll rather pay full price that way I know I'm getting Quality and not the painful HASSLE of BS on both ends: boost you up with "Buyer protection" How fraudulent and fake!
Poshmark is absolutely horrible! They don't care one bit about buyers being ripped off. They will not help you! They will only help the seller that's making them money. Do not buy in this site!
This site has zero support for buyers. Seller can sell you dirty smelly items with no penalties. They can also deiced to just change their mind and not sell what you have bought. The "customer service" is a joke. I filed a case because I bought something with an awful smell ( cigarettes) they kept asking me to provide a picture of the damage. Another dress I bought came dirty and they continued to ask me for pictures. I have sent them several. They advised me to resell my dirt dress and my smelly dress to someone else. Don't wast your time or money on this site.
They do not care about whether products are depicted accurately, nor do they provide support. The gave an inadequate description that was misleading.
Ordered a pair of sneakers. Seller did not reply or ship. That's the bad. However Poshmark sent me an immediate refund and that was good.
For the item you have received, we suggest listing it in your own closet for sale, donating it, or gifting
The language above is what I received from customer service at Poshmark. Very customer unfriendly. Have ordered from eBay and amazon and returns are welcomed but not Poshmark
Poshmark does not allow you to return your purchased clothing items if they do not fit, a fact I was not made aware of until it was too late. Instead, they encourage you to become a seller. Pease do not waste your time and money on them.
My order was perfectly straightforward: ordered a pair of size 9 men's shoes. What I received was size 8, or maybe even smaller. No chance of squeezing into these shoes. They'll be donated. Poshmark: "All sales are final." I won't be returning to this site.
I spent nearly 3 weeks adding people sharing posts and all the things that they encourage you to do... I ended up following 18k people. I bought 1 thing it was hassle free... but I don't have the time to put in all that this app requires to be successful. Much better to use your local market place on FB or VarageSale. Plus they don't have all their ducks in a row for shipping between the US and Canada... in this case I'll stick to eBay.
I use this platform all the time and have had a few issues regarding orders. Every time I write an email I get ZERO response. It's incredibly annoying that a website that takes 20% of EVERY sale does not have actual customer service. Very close to leaving the platform all together.
There are so many better sites! Poshmark doesn't even have a phone number to call if you need help. Even when they want you to contact them! They charge so much to sell (10% Of each sale) and they rip off the buyer with shipping costs ($6.95 even if it were a trading card). I tried to get a hold of them because they had technical problems after they asked me to contact THEM- no contact information offered. I couldn't sell or buy because of this issue. I tried for weeks without getting one human, email, or anything that showed someone was listening. That is fine though. It got me out of there and I've found several better sites for less with customer service I can chat or call.
So what do they do with the10% of ALL sales an zero employees to worry about? You've been warned.
Being that it was my first purchase ever, I was confused about the receiving process of the purchase. I read their email directions and was under the impression that you were to click on the delivered box so that Poshmark and the seller would know you received the item. I then thought you had 72 hours to decide if the item was "acceptable." I waited until the following day to look at the Coach handbag I purchased and noticed that the bag had no price tag. I went back to the ad on the Poshmark website and it said NWT (new with tags). I then tried to mark the purchase as "unaccepted" but the site wouldn't let me. I sent a email message to Poshmark customer service which automatically sent me a email that said they would get back to me in 24 hours. Two days later I received an email asking for more information. I sent an email back and now it is 5-6 days later with no response. I also sent another email after not hearing back after 2 days. So, basically Poshmark does check into their sellers and does not back or guarantee their sellers. Lesson learned. Will be deleting my account.
I sold a pair of boots and was told to ship in 48 hours. I did. The buyer said it was damaged. Poshmark approves their return AND then doesn't demand that I get a shipping number or nothing! Now if you don't want something then send it back! They won't do ANYTHING for 8 days after they authorize!
Literally THE worst experience I've had with an online company in my entire life. I made a purchase 24 days ago and still have yet to receive anything. I even was in contact with the seller and first she said " I don't know why it's not tracking I took it to UPS " - clearly a lie - then she said she sent the wrong package to me - also a lie - then 22 days later when I requested a refund all of her postings are " randomly " taken down and she's inactive and poshmark now won't return any emails I've sent in days. And of course there is no phone number because they are a bunch of scam artists. This website is a complete scam and they are literally stealing money from people. How do you live with yourselves running a shady business like this. DO NOT support this company.
Unbelievable, no buyer protection and they NEVER call back no matter how many messages you leave! Hopefully somebody will get pissed enough to put them out of business.
I love this app. Now buy and sell regularly. I have already left a review before. But a new thought came to me and I thought I would share: there are people on this site HERE TO MAKE MONEY, and there are people on this site TO GET RID OF CLOTHES. Beware that the actual resale value of clothing is very low, so think before you splurge $20 on a tank top that is worn, mind you. Don'tfall for the "The item you like just dropped 12%!" It dropped on purpose. You are the target. Beware, before you buy something that you don't need, and shouldn't be spending the money on.
Knowing this, I highly encourage this app to fashion lovers! But be SMART. Don't give in to those ladies selling $3 dollar rings from WISH for $20. Don't give them the pleasure :)
If you sell stuff you probably will do fine but as a buyer stay away you have no chance to return your item is actually impossible to return the item even if doesn't fit you you must prove that the item is wrong or something else but if it doesn't fit you they will deduct the money from your bank or credit card and Poshmark will denied your return claim! Stay away terrible company and no customer service whatsoever!
Wish I had read the reviews prior to ordering. They stink! They don't stand behind their 'so-called' guarantees. They say if you contact them within 2 days, they will correct issue and refund. They don't. They don't GIVE A DARN! They don't provide refunds no matter what they indicate on their website! They advertised item as new with tags... it was clearly worn, had sweat marks, was even sagging under the arms from sweat! There is NO QUALITY CONTROL. NO REFUNDS. NO RETURNS. DON'T!
I got a genuine Dior Columbus avenue belt off of the posh mark site. The belt had been stored for years in the clothing drawer of the woman who sold the $300 belt for $25 dollars to me. When I received it was badly scuffed on the metal and body look a bit ashy from being thrown around the draw. This did not show in the pictures, but it was the real belt and I use it with my Columbus pouches that attach perfectly. I should have asked for more pictures. Heard you can get ripped off selling. Was going to sell my unused YSL and Baby Phat boots, but not sure after these reviews. I was lucky the belt was still worth the 25 dollars. My seller was fair in pricing that low.
My jean never came. Poshmark emailed me and told me they canceled my order. But they never reimbursed me. And of course they can't be telephoned. So I have no recourse. Beware
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
