I send my sold Chloe bag to get authentication from poshmark. They told me they can't identify it. And I have to send 20 bucks to them to get it ship back to me or they will get Rid of for me. I am like wtf I feel so stranded with my bag with them when these dumb $#*! can't even Authenticated a real bag.
Very Frustrating when You ASK Questions from a Seller--ONLY To be IGNORED----Items are NOT RETURNABLE--Most Sellers Give very Vague or NO INFO At all--NO Measurements--Often Just using the Word "USED" Inseams are Important--Meas. Of a Handbag Etc---If there Ignoring Your Questions --Most Likely they wont Ship either--So Your Money is Tied UP--I Tell everyone to SHOP Poshmark--They will SAVE MONEY Because they Cant Buy Anything! I ALWAYS End Up Looking for Same Item on a Diff. Site Because of this!
They allow a lister to misrepresent measurements (3" off!) and then refuse to refund the money. I have used
Other resales such as Thread Up and Ebay and this is not in their league. I posted an honest assessment of
Seller and they removed it. I am out purchase price for an item I cannot wear.
If you aren't looking to make a profit and have all the time in the world to continually share your listings, then POSHMARK might be the place for you. First off. They take a whopping 20%. If you don't spend every day sharing your items it's not likely that, you will make many sales. Buyers take advantage of the Poshmark's honor system. Nine out of 10 times Poshmark will side with the buyer... no matter what. It's an energy draining sales podium with little rewards. Save your time as well as, your money.
Customer service sucks, miss posting by sellers with sizes two time no support and will not buy from these idiots again!
Poshmark is a fraudulent, scamming sight I purchase a jacket that I never received. When you contact them you Get an email that returns the same message. Every-time an automated text. No customer service representative. The sellers never return your text. I don't know how they've haven't charged with any crime or how they are still in business. I had one experience. One to many. I lost $258.68. Do not deal with this company. They should have 0 up there one is way to kind
After multiple communications with Poshmark customer service department alerting them of counterfeit/replica/bootleg items for sale on their platform, as well as their users violating copyright infringements (these scammers are dumb enough use the same photos from the Chinese knockoff off site!) they disabled my account! Suspended all listings and sales for me during the holiday season too.
The user selling the reported replica/bootleg/counterfeit items is not only STILL selling them, but she is listed as a "Poshmark Ambassador" which creates a false sense of trust.
If you're curious, I did provide Poshmark with with concrete evidence of the replica and counterfeit items being sold.
Selling replica/counterfeit products is dangerous. Poshmark does make 20% of each sale made by the seller, but at some point the safety of their customers should more important than their profits.
These replica/counterfeit items are sold and shipped directly from companies in countries with little to no safety guidelines who don't follow stringent American regulations. These items are non-returnable and non-refundable within three days of being delivered. Which, is most likely not a long enough time for buyers to realize they've been duped. But don't tell that to customer service, or they'll disable your account.
Not sure why this is acceptable...
However I did give it one star because I have sold a few authentic things on there in the past. They have flat rate shipping up to 5lbs for $6.75 (but totally overpriced if just shipping just jewelry, a shirt, or something Small).
I made a purchase on this site, and it has not been sent to me. There is no phone number to call. You can only e-mail. And then they don't respond/
Meanwhile I am out almost $300, with no way to contact the seller and ask them why they haven't sent my item. Maybe they never had it to begin with.
Do not shop here items misrepresented, trick photography and items are never as good as they appear online. For instance this jacket below was marketed as blue by Kelly W and it's anything but blue. I've held it in several different lights and it's not blue. Also, they don't take returns and the resolution center always sided with seller so if you buy the wrong size you're stuck with that product. I'm going back to Ebay where I know they stand behind their products
I bought a pair of flats off Poshmark from *******@tstokeli and when i received them they were not as appealing to me. I wanted to return them (never wore the shoes) they asked me to send pics of shoes, i did then they claimed they "looked" worned. I never put the shoes on. They said they will not give me refund, never will i shop there again.
I've been buying and selling on PM for over a year, it is very easy to use and has lots of variety. The best part is it's safe.
Hi even if u are careful. U can get scammed. Seller shipped two items both permanently stained. Was not familiar with a damaged package returned it to Scammer lost value full could not reach poshmark
Despite proof of scams. Poshmark responds with form letters. In ordered 2 watches that have not been shipped (bundle deal) and they refuse to refund my money. The above bundle (2 watches), now says 1 watch for the same price as 2. See proof below.
If you are looking to set up an online business for clothing and shoes (new or used) or household items don't start with Poshmark. Poshmark is not set up for business purposes, they are set up to be an on-line garage sell for fashion. They do not have the tools to support someone who wants to grow their online presence into a real business and it is not worth the time sharing your stuff and creating followers. You are better off going to a site like eBay, taking the time to learn the shipping game and build a real business that will scale. Poshmark is not set up to scale. Poshmark is also petty deleting your listings without giving you the opportunity to correct when they think you have violated one of their rules. Poshmark is run by people who are inexperienced and more concerned about being right. Poshmark makes it very easy to ship, but that one benefit is not worth investing your time in when eventually your business needs will out grow the platform.
But they pay you in a reasonable amount of time. Customer service is a bit slow in responding to your questions and their bundle process is a bit confusing and clumsy. I lowered the score because since Jan 2020, they have increased shipping. This is crazy especially for some items selling for $10 or less, doesn't make sense to pay $7.11 to ship. Also, as a seller if you want to help and pay some portion of shipping for the customer, they will not let you do it unless you also decrease your price. They are greedy and silly with his policy. My sales have really slowed and I refuse to buy a t-shirt for example, for $5, then have to pay $7 for shipping.
Impossible to get more than repeated stock responses by email. Would not allow a return of a damaged item. Stick with eBay. Poshmark has really poor customer service.
I ordered three pairs of Cole Haan men's shoes. Only one pair was the real thing. The other two pairs had only insole to the halfway mark and both of those were so tight that they were either fakes or re-soled by an inexperienced cobbler. The two "fakes" should have been listed as a half or full size smaller. Seller tried to tell me they were "outlet" shoes and that is why they were made in Mexico instead of India, where the Cole Haan factory is located. Taking my name off of their email list and deleting the app.
Have FEAR when ordering from here. No matter what, they don't except returns. Or you can ask 50 questions to the seller before making purchase. Make sure the measure tape is in picture. I've bought 5 jeans and sold boots from this app. One Pair of jeans was not the correct size as mentioned. It should be a 26. I ordered a 29. $40 They are so small I can't even zipper them. So I have to keep them, says Poshmark. Poshmark says it's my responsibility to ask them to measure it before buying. There are pictures of the jeans that clearly says 29 R. Why else would I need to ask questions? The seller should have to except them back. Poshmark is treating me like I'm a problem. Even though the seller has had bad remarks on her. I have pictures to prove it.
In picture the first pair (29) are my complaints. They should be a 26. They should be wider than my 28 behind them... can't send picture. It's not small enough;(
I had high hopes in the beginning selling on Poshmark. I was able list items that were new with tags but not used and sell them. I even sold some gently used items. But if you're looking for a fast turn around this is not the place. You get tons of followers but no buyers. You get loads of likes and shares but not sales. For all that you put into creating the listing, photographing and posting then letting it sit for months with one look. Not worth it. Looking for another outlet for reselling.
Te waste of time to post pictures and add descriptions of your items. Then they constantly delete these items saying not authentic when they are 100% authentic items! The pictures and description are CLEARLY AUTHENTIC and NOT REPLICAS! You email them and they say they will fix but they dont! Do not trust their authentication service! They have NO BUISNESS saying what is and is not authentic! Morons!
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
