Can't contact
March 4, 2020

I don't remember joining a Poshmark club. $107.90 was deducted from my Pay Pal account from Poshmark. I could not contact Poshmark no way, no how. I contacted Pay Pal and they told me Poshmark withdrew the payment for some membership or something. I immediately blocked Poshmark from my Pay Pal. If they are a good outfit, they should have a much better communication method with their customers. It looks like I was victimized out of $107.90

Not honest
March 3, 2020

I ordered a top which was shown as a RED color. The top came in and was a mauve color. Two other items came which I did not order. I made 10 attempts to resolve to return the top including the unordered items, Poshmark kept emailing that they are looking into the matter.
I returned ALL of the items and they refused to credit my account.
They will not have a phone conversation. The packaging was sloppy and I lost $80.90 plus the return postage, plus the insurance. I have proof that my return package was received by Poshmark.
Dishonest company.

Do not buy from Poshmark. I bought from xoxoklowe Posher. The seller copied a Dress from the Free People website & Listed it for almost 6 times higher than 10 other sites who sell it. It is/was a knockoff & the fit was a joke.
I contacted Customer Setvice & wrote that their seller was posting copyright photos & fraudulent information. Poshmark would not refund my money. I spent $84. I felt sick because for me that's a lot to loose. Also the seller sent me like 20 emails arguing with me. Don't waste
Your time or money.
Very Sketchy.
I'm very upset about how it all turned out. A total joke & the most pitiful customer service. They will screw you over on a heartbeat. Again stay away from xoxoklowe

I am a Poshmark Ambassador with more than 700 listings. I have been active since Jan 2019 and in that year they have increased their shipping fees TWICE! Most of my items weigh under 10 ounces and do not warrant the absurd $7.11 shipping fee. Customer service is non existent and yet they collect a whopping 20 percent commission, twice what their competitors charge. Seriously, they have no telephone number. The only way to contact support when there is an issue, is via email. Ridiculous! They do everything within their power to make communication difficult so that they give up and not ask for help. They also have the rudest customer base who think nothing to offer you a fraction of your asking price. Everyone wants a bargain but to offer $7 on an item listed for $25 is just rude. Lowballing is now the norm since the shipping went up to $7.11. Needless to say, I am moving my business to Mercari.

Two PM members myself and someone else purchased items from seller kbfluvs2shop on the same day. After a week we noticed our items had not shipped. I had reached out first to inquire about my item and the other buyer noticed my note and reached out to me and that is when we found out the extent of the lies coming from kbfluvs2shop. The list of excuses why she had not shipped our items: Oh wow I did not notice this sale, I will ship tomorrow (4 days later still not shipped), I am moving, I am out of town, I cannot find the item. Then I get a message that she spoke to PM and they advised her to ship me an alternate item without advising me of the switch and without my consent or permission. First this is illegal and known as bait & switch. Second the seller never spoke to PM about this issue. Third, as a Director of CS and Sales in the luxury fashion industry for over 50 yrs NO COMPANY WOULD EVER SWITCH YOUR ITEM WITHOUT ADVISING YOU AND GETTING YOUR PERMISSION TO DO SO. Not only is their proof of all the dialog between this seller, myself and the other buyer all over this sellers listing but PM insults further by advising me to simply block the member. Oh so this seller can pull this stunt on yet other unsuspecting buyers. She already pulled her nonsense on 2 buyers whats to stop her from doing it again?! PM is useless and cannot even adhere to THEIR OWN POLICY GUIDELINES. Then they allow sellers to lie so gregariously it is nauseating and they allow them to continue their bad behavior. WOW! Well if anything this review will help others NOT TO PURCHASE from kbfluvs2shop as your funds will be held hostage for 8 days and you will NEVER receive your items and will just get lie after lie. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SELLER - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

SCAMMERS!
March 1, 2020

Don't trust Poshmark, they are NOT HONEST and do not trade with fair practices. They allow their sellers to misrepresent their listings. You get stuck with an item you don't want. They are in the business to make money and that's why they refuse to take returns for legitimate reasons. My item was grossly MISREPRESENTED, and I brought it to their attention and they didn't care. Please take a look at all the reviews and you will see a pattern. A lot of unhappy buyers and Poshmark refusing to allow returns time and time again. They are filled with FRAUDULENT listings and you are NOT protected! BUYER BEWARE!

Poshmark is useless
March 1, 2020

That's not very good business that poshmark let sellers cancel orders with no problem but I can't ever wear a top, it's still has the tags but they won't let me return the item. It made me regret ever buying anything from Poshmark.

Ordered purse
February 28, 2020

I ordered a purse and it did not come based on what the picture showed. It was misrepresented. That's a dishonest sales tactic. I ask to return but they would not allow me to return after sending a pic showing what the product should have looked like. It was missing the emblem when I received purse. Do not purchase from this site. They do not stand behind their guarantee for return if product is misrepresented. When received purse was missing emblem as shown in pic by seller.

I am appalled that I will not get a refund on a piece of useless junk. The Fitbit Alta sold to me for $99 and advertised as "new" will not hold a charge. I set it up on my Fitbit account and everything was fine, until I UNPLUGGED IT FROM THE CABLE and IT DIED. You cannot replace the battery.
The rule is that if the customer has a problem with the order, that she has to reject the order within 3 days.
I missed the rejection deadline by 6 HOURS! I am offered $40 in Posh Credits; this is an insult and I will NEVER buy anything from them again.) These people are thieves!

$#*!ty customer service
February 27, 2020

If you are buying items from Poshmark, you are on your own as there is no customer service to look into if you received a damaged item. Your money is gone if you failed to report the damaged item in 2 days. This policy is beyond horrible and it is put in place so sellers can sell flawed items and if the buyer is not quick enough to report, poshmark will make money out of it. They charge $7.11 for shipping? This should go down, poorly run business

Terrible company
February 27, 2020

I am a seller on Poshmark and when I tell you about what they did you will be SHOCKED. I provided them with my banking information so that can wire me my money. I have done this many times before with other companies and have NEVER had an issue. Turns out they routed the money to someone else's account then claimed that I provided them with that account. I called my bank and they verified that the other account does not belong to me. My bank isn't able to do anything because the other account is active and the person obviously isn't going to claim that the money isn't theirs. Poshmark responded to me by saying that there isn't anything they can do so I should contact my bank. Basically no one wants to take responsibility for what has occurred and it is so unfortunate that I can't hold anyone liable for this mistake. I've decided to put this out into the internet and I'll be posting this everywhere I can because this is the only way I can let other people know to be careful with them! Their customer service is terrible, they take days to respond and are not helpful whatsoever!

Well I just joined and made my first purchase. I couldn't help but buy these shoes, it was love at first sight. I'm so excited they shipped today. Just look at them and tell me they don't look awesome! Ok enough showing off.
I had watched many videos and read bad and good reviews after I made my purchase so I'm a bit weary they may not be perfect but hey its not a bad way to clean out your closet and just like Ebay make sure the seller is legit!

Poshmark has not been worth my time and effort, as a seller. They think they can run a market site like a social media platform, and the idea fails miserably. It's a high-school like atmosphere where sellers sabotage each other by stalking their rivals' listings and falsely reporting them as counterfeit. Poshmark doesn't even review items reported as counterfeit themselves. They send pictures out to random people on the app and ask them if they think it's counterfeit. How are random people supposed to know what a counterfeit luxury item looks like? Meanwhile, actual counterfeits run rampant and are not reported because counterfeiters know how to make professional looking listings that will fool most users. When you send an item over $500 to Poshmark to be authenticated by employees, you may still have a problem, as they have been known to claim that genuine items, with receipts and documentation, are counterfeit. Then they refuse to send them back to you; essentially stealing your genuine items. I sold luxury items on Poshmark and I think the luxury market is where their biggest problem is. The site is absolutely overrun by people reselling used makeup and cheap clothes from thrift store bins, who mistag their items with expensive brand names. So if you search a certain item, chances are it will be buried under a mountain of things you have absolutely no interest in. If you do find a listing for the item you want, good luck, it's likely a counterfeit that flew under the radar with minimal effort. For sellers, I would recommend extreme caution. Poshmark buyers have been known to buy an item, wear it for one event, and then stain or even destroy it so they can file a return. In many cases they will send you back a counterfeit dupe of the item you sold them. Scammers gravitate to Poshmark over other platforms because they don't face any consequences. Poshmark will take their side regardless of the evidence presented, hanging honest sellers out to dry. I have never had issues like these on any other luxury resale platform.

Lack of sales
February 22, 2020

I was a seller & purchaser on Poshmark. Unless you have coveted, trendy or designer items don't expect to make much. Originally $65 VSX never worn knockout tights & sports bras with tags listed for $15... lots of likes no sales. Alex & Ani bracelets listed for $5/ no sales. Many of items like that. Only made 3 sales in almost a year & I was lowballed on 2. By the time posh took their commission I barely made anything. And Poshmark kept sending me a barrage of emails to lower prices! Geez I'm practically giving the stuff away now. Just not worth the time. The few sales I did make there were no problems.
As a buyer I had two sellers just never ship or respond to inquiries & order just cancelled. You'd think Poshmark would keep Sellers to standards. A few things I bought were shipped promptly & had no issues. Shipping Cost was way to high for some items. I passed over the items cause shipping jacked up the price.

Followed all the rules for my Louis Vuitton Pallas BB. It was selling for about a week before I had a purchase. Went straight to the Post Office to wrap it and send it for the buyer to receive quickly.
A few hours after the buyer said they hit buy accidentally (which is impossible because you have to hit buy on two different screens and enter your payment info)
Then she said she would keep the purse if I would give to her for 1200 instead of the sale price of 1600, which is already below the 2300 I paid.
I said no, and then she said well the zipper is messed up (which it was not) and that she would be returning the purse.
Eight days later I have no money and no purse and posh customer support has not responded to any of my ten messages.
I'm going to take this to arbitration to get my money back.
Horrible don't use it

I order 3 hand bags totalling $1300, seller sent them to Poshmark for authentication and then they sent them regular mail! This lead the postal carrier to leave them on my door step! Poshmark has hasn't replied to my countless emails and that is the only way to contact them! They are HORRIBLE! Three weeks in and no bags, a $1300 credit card charge and not a single reply from customer service!

The short story is that I rarely use a credit card online. Just don't like it. I needed to purchase some clothes and so had to give Poshmark my credit card. I remember thinking that this site probably doesn't have the security necessary to keep card info secure. I was right. Just had 6 charges on my credit card -- a card that I haven't used for some time.

Also, I ordered some shoes from a seller. Shoes looked new. I literally put the shoes on in my car and walked across a parking lot and they were destroyed and coming apart -- totally unwearable. BUYERS BEWARE.

Imagine this, you're trying to find a nice slightly used or new version of a Chanel clutch/wallet for your special someone. But every time you try to buy it on Poshmark, the seller refuses to complete the sale or they try to sell you a fake. Then on top of it, customer service does nothing about it and offers you a laughable $5 credit for your troubles that you actually never receive! Welcome to Poshmark. Happy shopping in Hell!
