Poshmark's return/refund policy is a complete SCAM! I purchased a dress that was advertised as a size small and I received a large. When I submitted my request to return the item for a refund, I was told that I should have questioned the seller as to the fit of the item. This is a brand that I wear often and know the fit/sizing well. I wrote them back, explaining again that this was not an issue of fit, but rather a misrepresentation of the size of the item being sold. Return/refund still refused! I will be deleting the app and discontinuing doing business with Poshmark. Not to be trusted.

I have been using Poshmark for selling some VERY fine designer items for about 2 1/2 months now - during which time I am disappointed that I've not sold more, particularly because my items are quite reasonably priced, given the high-end items that they are - many of which are NEW! The website is easy to use, and I like their easy shipping policy. But I think that Poshmark's clientele (potential buyers) are NOT very sophisticated in that they have little knowledge of fine merchandise, including jewelry - and those who do, they all seem to want to buy such items for next-to-nothing! And Poshmark encourages this behavior by hounding sellers to DROP their prices! Heck on that routine, since my items are ALREADY rock bottom in price - but the buyers don't seen know a good deal if it landed in their laps! I am IRRITATED by all the notations that I get about "likes" and "shares" - because these folks do their "likes" all day long, but they NEVER purchase anything! I think that they're all young girls just fooling around, entertaining themselves on the platform with their friends. Just a game, but they DON'T have ANY MONEY to buy anything! I have noticed that the MEN don't do this silly stuff. No "likes" or "shares" from them. They just go to the platform, look for something they want - and then, they BUY IT! GOOD JOB, GUYS! Love ya!

Fraud!
May 14, 2020

I purchased a purse and a wallet. My bank account was charged three times for the wallet! The purse was to be charged to paypal credit and it was charged to my paypal balance so that money is now gone. Paypal said it takes 30 days to dispute this transaction. I reported to Poshmark by their help page since they DON'T have a telephone number! Their canned responses are ludicrous. I never got a real response. To make matters worse, the Poshmark seller has now closed their store and are not active. I am sick about this. I bought these for a graduation gift since there will be no ceremony this year and have had my money stolen! Now I have no gift and no money to purchase something else. Thanks Poshmark for doing absolutely nothing to help me or help the other honest buyers that have just been scammed. I am reporting this to the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and my bank. Never again!

Wrong sized boots
May 14, 2020

After ordering one size of shoes from Poshmark that were a true 10W I was ready to buy another pair from a different seller. I did so. The second pair of shoes wasn't a true 10W but more like a 11-11.5W. After countless attempts to reach the seller and Poshmark I'm stuck with a pair of boots that do not fit. I even asked the seller if they were really a 10W. I would not advise buying from Poshmark. Unlike eBay the return process is complicated and you are at the mercy of the company and it's sellers with no possibility of reviews for experience with a seller. Awful business plan for everyone involved. Thanks Poshmark for nothing!

THEY HAVE DESPICABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Allow me to explain.
I recently bought a piece of lingerie on Poshmark. The item said NWT (New With Tags) on it. When I received the item and tried it on, I was extremely disappointed to discover that the top of the cups were stretched out and gaping horribly. I filed a complaint with Poshmark under "item was not as described" sent them a picture and explained the situation. I then received an email from customer support stating "I'm sorry but we don't do refunds if it doesn't fit you or you just don't like it" I'm sorry, but what do you do refunds for? If I buy something online and it doesn't fit me, I should be able to return it, no questions asked. You obviously care nothing about your customers. Your service is a joke and it's no wonder your ratings are horrible
I started using Poshmark with every intention of buying and selling peacefully, but rest assured I will NEVER be using your services again and I will leave a negative review about you on every social platform I can find. Have a nice day.

I had a person order $265 worth of clothes. Rock Revival jeans were damaged and they sent them back. They stunk so bad of Cigar smoke I threw them in my garage. I still have not received a dime of the sale. They do not respond to anyone but the scammer buyer. Both him and his girlfriend work together to scam people then sell you clothes. Posh mark did nothing for me. Stay away from the *******@brandigrayson *******@tomsmi I will be reporting posh mark to the BBB.

I ordered and paid for an item but sellers didn't ship it. I emailed customer service and their answer was, " because of this covid-19 situation seller can ship the item within 7 to 10 days". I understand that with this pandemic going on, it's hard for the seller to go outside and ship the item but after 11 days I contacted customer service again and their reply is you can cancel the order and i will get a full refund. Poshmark doesn't take care of their members unlike Mercari and even EBay that the seller gets a reprimand.

Zero Stars for Poshmark - Bad Business
April 30, 2020

Too bad there isn't a 0 stars option...
My 2nd correspondence to them says it all:
"Your return policy stinks! I absolutely feel taken advantage of and will NEVER purchase from your site again. I feel like the seller HAD to know the shoes were not true to size, yet it was never addressed nor were there any indications of measurements which would lead a buyer to expect the sizing was anything but standard. I am disgusted by that and by the fact that I e-mailed support about this immediately and no-one has taken one minute to acknowledge or reply to me. I did a lot of research and now see that many buyers "Re-Posh" because size wasn't right - all sellers should be encouraged to offer measurements if they have experienced that what they are "Re-Poshing" is due to the fact that they expected a true fit and the item wasn't. Did I say I am disgusted? I will be making a public review to the negative for your site as a result of this experience. Of course, just like my other communication to Poshmark, I'm sure this one will be ignored/disregarded or plain not read. Bad business!"
In addition, as noted by my purchase screenshot below, it appears that Poshmark clearly WANTS a "re-Posh" - must make money each sale -- therefore that is probably why they do not encourage more accurate listings and why there are no returns. Lesson learned - not all sites are return friendly even with legitimate reasons.

A total nightmare. How can I give them no stars because they've earned it. You make a purchase and Seller doesn't ship after 11 days waiting. You're contacting Poshmark for help to get caught up in this loop that says "we'll get back to you". They never do. Had to contact PayPal to get charges reversed.
You'll get more satisfaction from burning your money than shopping here. At least you know where it went:)
Stay away unless you like terrible, horrible, non responsive service.

Buyer beware
April 24, 2020

If you like to gamble then this is your place. It is a guessing game if you will like your purchase. My very first order was perfect. I was hooked! Next order was a total let down. Next order I gave my honest review which was not hateful just truthful and I was blocked by the seller! What idiot says no to a sell? Over time some stuff is good but most is not. My husband who is clueless about clothes has made me throw out most things purchased because they look like something you would get at a garage sale he said. Use caution and go to Vegas if you like taking chances. At least you will have more fun there!

Let the Buyer Beware
April 22, 2020

Bought these shoes as womens size 8. While they are nice shoes, they are clearly men's shoes due to the length and width. Customer service refused a return because the tag says 8. I made two other purchases that were fine, but I deleted their app, because 2 out of 3 is too much of a gamble for me.

I hate this site
April 22, 2020

This site is nothing but garbage. My most recent experience Svitlana Holovko purchased a really nice almost brand new handbag that I was selling on the site, she continually messaged me trying to get a better deal than what I was selling it for. I sold it for much less than I wanted to. When she got it she claimed that it was not what she thought she was getting and wanted a refund. She had the audacity to scratch up all the metal on my brand new handbag, and poshmark Made the decision that she was allowed to return this. She basically destroyed a brand new handbag, and Poshmark despite me trying to get a refund for what happened, would not allow that to happen. Below is what this $#*! did to my hand bag. I have a few items for sale and then I am closing my account due to the fact that they take such a large portion and they are nothing but a bunch of $#*!s to deal with. The woman in the photo is the one who did this to my handbag. Her name is Svitlana Holovko of Brooklyn New York.

I purchased an item that was falsely advertised - a pair of jeans that were being sold as "very stretchy", when in fact they had no stretch in them at all. I question whether they were actually an authentic pair of designer jeans as all the jeans I have come across from this particular brand have always been a good quality and stretchy material, which was nothing like the pair I was sent. These particular jeans retail for $500 and I can assure you that the quality of the material in the jeans I was sent was nowhere near the quality of a pair of jeans that would be worth $500. I sent a request to Poshmark to return the item as their return policy specifically mentions that "A buyer may open a case with us if they don't receive their item or the item they receive is not as described within the listing." I felt that I had definitely been mislead by the seller's ad saying that the jeans were very stretchy. The seller repsonded and actually admitted that the fabric, in fact, didn't contain much stretch but she had added the description that they were 'very stretchy' because that is how the designer brand described this particular item on their website. I was then told by Poshmark that they wouldn't accept my dispute because I should have asked the seller more specific questions about the fabric before making my purchase. If the seller is describing the product as 'very stretchy' then I would assume if I asked her if the product was 'very stretchy' then she would have to say yes as that is how she described them. I will never purchase anything from Poshmark again as I believe they are allowing false advertising and possibly fake products to be sold on their site. If it seems to good to be true, it usually is! Very Sketchy - not very stretchy!

Horrible experience! There is no way to connect with anyone at Poshmark to correct the error. I ordered size 9 shoes received size 6! There is no way to track anyone down to correct the problem to return the shoes and obtain a credit.
Stay clear of Poshmark is my opinion!

No Thanks.
April 18, 2020

3 purchases on Poshmark. The first transaction was perfect. Item as described, super bargain, and shipped quickly. Was very happy. Second transaction the item, a dress, arrived dirty from hanging out of a thin, flimsy dog food box the Seller used for shipping. The dress was wadded up inside this small box. Third transaction, another dress, was never shipped by the Seller. I cancelled after the 10 days Poshmark gives Seller to ship and have yet to receive a refund. I paid through Paypal and filed a dispute with screenshots of the cancellation and other information. I will not shop on the site again. Poshmark does not provide feedback about a Seller like other sites do. If you rate a Seller less than 5 star out of 5, you cannot leave a note on their page. I noticed many Sellers do not answer questions regarding their items and do not update their selling page for months. I avoided those but still had issues with 2 of the 3 orders I placed. No thanks.

No buyer protection
April 16, 2020

I recently bought a luxury item that was obviously a fake when I received it. I contacted customer support since Poshmark advertised that items that don't match the description can be returned and refunded; however, I couldn't contact the seller personally and Poshmark ended up adding $5 to my account as "credit" for my loss of a couple hundred.

It's good app but when you have case set by buyer for whatever reason you will most likely lose no matter how much you will prove Buyer is wrong. I sold original item, lady did not now how to PUT CHARGER into it so she set claim saying "item is not original". I have sent to Poshmark my original sales invoice, emails showing when it was purchased by me showing all details, I also sent pictures of online instruction how to use charger(!) showing its is looking exactly like it should and yet I still LOST. Ridiculous absolutely. "Careful review" does not exist, what's funny as a final resolution reason Poshmark said "unsupported" but yet it was still for Buyer benefit even though there was no evidence from her item is not original.
