I placed an order on Poshmark on 6/2, I notified the seller on Poshmark where I purchased my item, That I have not received my merchandise. There has been no response from her! I was charged $74.55 and after notifying the seller & Poshmark Customer Service I still have not received a response from anyone! On the PM site it states "awaiting shipment"! Really, after 9 days my items weren't shipped and the seller is failing to respond back to me as to why my items haven't been shipped but they have my money! I have purchased many times from Poshmark & always received my items. Don't tell me it's a delayed shipment because of COVId 19, that's bull$#*!
Mercari treats you like a human, Poshmark does not. I put an offer on an Alexander McQueen purse. The buyer messaged me and told me no, and to buy it on Mercari instead. I just ignored her after that and assumed that was that. Well, I'm stupid and didn't realize even though the seller said no my offer was still on for 24 hours. She waited damn near 20 hours, she wrapped up the purse, accepted my offer (that I didn't know was still available) and shipped the purse without telling me. I told her to cancel and she said she shipped right away and it was impossible to cancel. This is a $1,000 purse not a $30 item, I can't believe she was allowed to do me that way. I've been contacting Posh for TWO weeks and they're doing 0 things about it. I haven't even opened the package. I should be allowed to return it.
I bought some expensive shoes and didn't receive them and waited 3-4 days until get back to me which is unacceptable!
Ordered a black supple leather wallet... here's what I got. A black hard pleather HUGE wallet. Would not fit into my largest purse. That was not revealed in the ad... I mean massive and you could not tell in the photos. Returns are not available... if you rate a seller lower they will offer you to sign up a seller and REPOSH IT! NO THANK YOU.
Deleted app and will NEVER buy or visit again learned my leasson. Heads up FOLKS!
I ordered some retro 11 and they sent to the wrong place lost my money they don't respond so order at own risk horrible 200.00 and nothing in return
Poshmark does not have any interest in protecting the rights and property of sellers, yet allows buyers to publicly attack sellers (i have been called a low life, have a meaningless and pitiful life, a psycho, told to get help etc, which poshmark allows and enables). Buyers will flat out lie about the stuff they receive if they dont like it, and poshmark allows it to happen. Poshmark allows copyright infringement, harrassment, cyber bullying and does not intervene other than to enable those doing it. This is hands down the worst social platform i have ever experienced. What a defeating and mean place to be on.
I was not familiar with this site till I saw their selling in eBay and I order a pair of nice Bally shoes in size 10.5D and I placed the order. When I received the shoes I tried them out immediately and unfortunately they were too big for me; so, I email them asking if I could "exchange" hem for a smaller size. I just received an email from them making a federal case out of something so simple and my reply was that they are a bunch of idiots mentioning something I never said in my email; therefor, I unsubscribed to the site a-sap. Like the overall rating says: "Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!" By the way, this is NOT a false review as the idiot at the bottom of this page says, it is based on facts!
I have shopped on Poshmark for myself and a lot for my kids. I have found great deals and also sellers are always open to negotiation. I have used ebay which is good, but have found better prices on Poshmark, and for the record I have purchased over 40 items from the site. I have also used other online consignment, Thredup and tradesy, and found their prices a lot higher. Just my two cents. Right now I am thrilled to find kids clothing lots and do all in one season shopping for each of my kids. It's convenient and I can't beat the price.
I would not even give them one star but it requires you to. Worst company I have ever done business with. One of their "poshers" sold me a counterfeit Coach handbag. Neither ever acknowledged my complaint, I sent them 8 plus emails they never acknowledge one of them. Plus they have no customer service number so you can't speak with anyone, problem so they don't have to deal with you. Scammers stay away.
If I sell a item on poshmark but depending on the time or day I sold it and I need to send it the next business day I can not use the first shipping label that Pm send me because it will say the date I sold it. It needs to say the same date that I'm going to send the package. The post office don't want to accept the package if the label has yesterday's date. So if you just want to reprint the shipping label to tell the date of the day you're going to send it go into your Pm account select the order you want to ship and press the one that says label expired if you just want to change the date. Thanks
I have made a couple of purchases, the items I actually received were fine but I have ordered and made offers, which were accepted by the seller, only to never receive them and I ended up cancelling the order. The biggest reason I think this happens is because the listings never expire, so someone can list something and basically forget they did and when you try to buy it, they never respond or they can't find it. The sellers are awful for the most part, I had a seller respond to an offer right away and accept it, and then never shipped it- even after waiting 10 days before cancelling the order. It really sucks when you find something you want to buy and the sellers have flaked out. Also, most of the sellers have unrealistic prices for old used items. I find this site more frustrating every time I use it, so I would suggest use with caution and don't get too attached to something you want to buy from the site.
I bought Harley riding boots... the boot said 8/12. Which is the size I take... The boot does not fit... cant get your foot past the ankle... They would not let me return them because the size in the boot was right. These boots have never been wore for good reason. They are made to small... Probably been sold more than once on this site.
Made a purchase 5/23 for item listed as size 7 and as I was checking to see if the item shipped on 5/26 I realized I did not see the comments stating they were a size 7.5 but like a 7. Well then they are 7.5 not 7! Requested to cancel 4 days in a row and no reply from anyone I had to open a claim with PayPal to get my money back. Horrible company has no human communication at all.
Purchased three items outside the app thru internet search and paid thru PayPal. Received items that were defective or not as described. Contacted Poshmark next day and they requested additional information. Heard nothing back from them for a week and then to say it was outside the three say window and seller had been paid. I am contacting PayPal. Buy from another site!
There is a poshmark seller whom I bought a shirt from and had to send it back because it smelled so badly of cigarette smoke. She is already reselling the item and this should not be allowed since it's so unhealthy to send that item with such large amounts of carcinogenic material. I can't even post on her item because she has blocked me and so I want to warn others and help prevent unethical scams! This site is full of deception. It sounds like a great idea (save the planet by not producing more clothes and help a fellow human) but the products are faulty and the sellers are doing shady business. Save your money and don't get scammed!
DECEPTION is all they're selling.
I didn't subscribe, and yet once I got onto their email list, they never stop. I have asked to unsubscribe and been falsely promised it, when all that happens is more and more email. Every day for 6 months!
If you try to email them you get a "undeliverable" message...

Waiting for a refund!
I have been using Posh for quite a while but my last package didn't not get into my hands. Something happened on the way. USPS is involved. At this point I just want the money back so I can make the same purchase with another seller. Still waiting for my refund.
STEER CLEAR OF POSHMARK...$50 pants were nowhere near a 32w... customer support had nerve to suggest that I sell... ON POSHMARK... or even better... it was suggested that I donate them. I do not recommend patronizing this business.
I am a 4 time Emmy winning designer. I listed a bunch of my designer clothes on Poshmark only to have them close my account accusing me of selling counterfeit clothes! None of which was True! So insulting and the worst customer service ever! Clueless and bad form for people selling designer clothes! Get a clue.
There's a lot of people that scam on Poshmark and they get reported and poshmark doesn't do anything about it. Also they let people return purchased items if you even miss the slightest detail on the item and return it with even more damages due to shipping and handling back and forth! Not worth it! Use Mercari instead! They verify authenticity without having to ship to any headquarters and they only take 10% instead of 20% that Poshmark takes. Never using this app again!
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
