Made one sale...tried to download shipping label 4 times and no email link sent so I could download the shipping label. I sent emails to buyer and poshmark but have not heard back from Poshmark; even though they make $3.95 on the sale...
I purchased a sweater on January 7th and it was lost or majorly delayed. It has been sitting in California. Even the seller suggested I get reimbursed. Poshmark Support has given me the runaround with no empathy. First telling me to wait until February 4th and now the 14th! Unbelievable.
Mercari and Etsy have never treated me this way.
I made my first purchase on Poshmark, a pair of Brighton shoes. The seller did not disclose that the instep was abnormally narrow. When I received the shoes, they did not fit well and I wear Brighton all the time. I tried to return but Poshmark and the seller refused. Poshmark no longer responded and I'm stuck with a pair of shoes that does not fit. Terrible experience!
Face it Nobody Uses poshmark much anymore. They Have moved on to better platforms Poshmark keeps track of one seller ship time To keep metrics And if you don't ship something you sell promptly your metrics are affected. Well right now they have this new rule That you need to verify your identity no big deal but if you sell something yo u. Cantship it until you verify as I said no big deal But stupid pm Gives you 2 tries a day before you're locked out from trying again and you have to wait until the nex day to enter what you think is the correct address on file. Meanwhile your buyer is waiting for their item and your metrics are affected what kind of stupid rules is this that they want you to update your information and prevent you from idoing so.idiots over there idiots just big stupid fat idiots this is why they have so many bad reviews This and other reasons
After some success using Poshmark, I have had 2 bad experiences with them. First time - the item was not in the condition that was listed. Second time, I never received the item. Apparently seller went to the post office with 2 sales, and mixed up the labels. After contacting Poshmark, they sent me a label to mail the incorrect item that I received to its rightful buyer. That buyer, who also was given a free label, never did the same. So I was out the money and my purchase. Contacted Poshmark and they never responded to my emails. Never again will I make another purchase on that website. As the saying goes, "fool me once, same on you, fool me twice, shame on me".
I used poshmark for years. They get worse and more greedy all the time. In addition to the 20% cut they already take from each sale, now they have "promoted closets", which is just another way from them to screw over sellers. With promoted listings, you pay every time someone clicks on your listing. Not every sale, but every click. This is ridiculous. Also 20% is already a very large cut, but now they want to be paid every time someone just looks at your listing. It seems they never tire of looking for ways to hurt sellers.
Ordered an item that wasn't as described. Like pulled to the point it's so irritable in the skin that it's unwearable. They rejected my dispute now I'm stuck with an item someone lied about. Their fees are too high for their sellers and their customer service is trash.
There is no way to directly message someone. When you put a message up it's for everyone. While I'm waiting on the seller to message me back the next day someone buys it because she dropped the outfit down for me. I didn't even know. This is useless and a waste of time especially when you don't have another one available. I'm having to lose out because of poshmark's notification system.
Honestly, a ridiculous company! There's isn't a written contract that the buyer or the seller signs. Again, Poshmark takes a cut from the seller who originally paid a lot of money for their item. A person might as well sell it on their own and get 100% of the selling price which is what I'll do. I regret selling on Poshmark because they've made a lot of money on my sales and don't care to step in help when there's an issue. I'd love to see if this happened to anyone making this decision because they'd feel the same way.
I've had a lot of experience with buying on eBay and they're customer service is always there to help. There isn't even a person on Poshmark that you can speak to directly. That is also a huge problem! Basically, a person is in communication through a stupid email. I don't really think Poshmark can be talking about contracts when you don't even really know if there's a real person on the other end.
I bought a 20 lb weighted vest from a seller on Poshmark,@ladymary59. When it came it had no weights in it. I immediately notified Poshmark and asked to return it, because of what use is a weighted vest with no weights? They said to talk to the seller, who said she had some weights. When I asked to buy the weights she said they would to too expensive to send. I looked up her ad and saw that it did say weights were not included---was that disclaimer there when I purchased it, I don't know, but I was not happy with the product because it was defenitely not as expected and worthless to me as it was, and wanted to return it. In spite of this, Poshmark released the funds to the seller and neither the company nor the seller would budge. I ended up buying the same product from Amazon for $6.00 more--including the weights and am happy with the Amazon one. If I buy a red vest, I don't expect to have to buy red dye somewhere and color it red. If I buy a weighted vest, I don't expect to have to buy weights somewhere else to make it weighted. I will never buy from Poshmark again, and I advise everybody else to avoid them as well--unless you want to throw your money away.
Ordered a size 10 got a size 9 and won't help this place is worthless and wouldn't buy from them ever stay clear unless you want to throw money away they $#*!ing suck
I was setup for disappointment from the seller to the establishment representing customer service. During the time of purchase to the final day being forced to cancel was saddening. Several messages were sent to seller requesting tracking information for days without a response. Over a week later I received an email stating it was shipped but PM showed on website still no tracking information. Seller sent an email informing that he'd look into it but never a follow up and proceeded to call me being rude. I stated only that being direct, asking for information in a timely manner was all that's awaited. Several attempts contacting Customer service was unsuccessful also. Every response was an automated email stating someone would contact me but if I felt a refund is warranted after seven days if not received. I waited patiently for the intended gift to arrive in the new year but nothing so it was cancelled. I requested another response from CS about my refund and expressed my disappointment. Embarrassed about what I had experienced and expect an immediate refund.
Shortly after buying boots, one sole came off, but they wouldn't refund me because it didn't break immediately. It automatically "accepted" my purchase for me, then they refused to refund me because I didn't respond in time. The boot appears on the inside of the sole to have been poorly glued back together. Just awful. $150 for garbage.
UGG boots ordered as a Christmas gift arrived quickly and were immediately wrapped. One Christmas it was determined that the seller (@sugarbea) sent two Right Foot boots.
Postmarks response was the funds have already been sent to the seller and issues must be reported within 3 days of arrival.
Both my credit card and bank account had fraudulent activity of thousands of dollars within an hour of a purchase on poshmark. Now I am going through reporting the fraudulent activity and all my accounts are frozen because of poshmark. So please, don't trust them, they are fraudulent and a scam.
After placing an order for some shoes which were supposedly available I received notice a week later that my shoe size was not in stock and I have to wait 10 days for a refund….
So I basically gave my credit card information and waited a week only to be told I will not be receiving the item ordered and I need to wait 10 days to get my money back for merchandise I never received
I will never place another order with Poshmark
I ordered a suit and when I received it, there is only 1 piece. I am missing the pants. They are telling me that suit does not include pants. I would like for them to provide what I paid for.
I purchased a string of Christmas lights. Naturally I should have expected- several were dead and the lights were just thrown in a bag (not in a box as advertised) and then in a box.
No merchandise after 14 days, customer service has no idea why! The seller never after 4 messages never responded.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
