Shipper failed to initiate the shipment on time and item arrived late. Despite describing the problem to customer service FIVE times, they still do not acknowledge the problem and blame UPSP. When I made a claim with PayPal, Poshmark finally gave me a CREDIT for the $20 postage I paid to forward the item. I never plan to shop with them again, so the credit means nothing. Horrible experience.
I bought a Saint Laurent clutch for $800 on Poshmark. The pictures that seller had posted indicated the clutch to be in excellent condition. Before making the payment, I asked the seller if there were any scratches, discolouration or defects on the bag and she noted there are not any noticeable scratches on it. The bag had to be shipped to Poshmark headquarters office in Vancouver first to be authenticated. And they were supposed to do the packaging there. It took them over a week to review the item and finally after they shipped it to me, I was disappointed to find out that they used the cheapest postage which takes one week delivery from Vancouver to Toronto. Shopping from many luxury websites, I was even more disappointed to find the bag was delivered in an old Amazon Prime box. What a packaging for an $800 item! When I opened the box, I became devastated to find out the clutch was in a poor condition with scratches, creases and discolouration all over it. I immediately requested a return with pictures of the actual bag. I would have never bought the bag if I knew the condition was not as described. I was shocked when I received an email from Poshmark the next day advising that they denied my request and the bag is final sale. I opened a dispute with PayPal and they immediately approved the refund!
Several times they blocked my closet and account without any justified reason, no apologies after my proofed refutation, and my account is still blocked. It looks like nobody cares.
Besides that: many fraudulent emails which are annoying.
The only way to avoid this is to cancel my account in this company.
EVERYONE BE WARE! THERE ARE A LOT OF SCAMMERS ON THIS SITE. I WAS VERY NEW TO THE SITE, AND WAS JUST LEARNING HOW IT (DOSEN'T) WORKS. I GOT SCAMMED OUT OF $3,200.00. I'M NOT BLAMING POSHMARK. MY OWN FAULT. JUST GIVING YOU ALL A WARNING. BE VERY CAREFUL. "DO NOT EXCEPT ANY CHECKS." GET YOUR MONEY DIRECTLY THROUGH POSHMARK. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!
I ordered a jacket on poshmark and the fraudulent seller sent me a sock inside a bunch of rags, so that it would have the weight of a jacket. I contacted poshmark in reference to the fraud and then for some reason they sent the money to the fraudulent seller. What kind of business does that? Poshmarks customer service promised that they wouldn't send any money to any sellers until the item was received and approved. That's a Blatant lie because they certainly did send the money. This will be the first and last time I do any type of business with poshmarkark! Potential customers beware!
I sold a sweater and even washed it to make sure buyer recieves clean. Well the buyer opened a claim that jacket was smelly, dirty, stained and that the material was dusting off. Which none of the above applied to the jacket because like i said it was washed and had only been used once prior to selling. Since Posh could not verify the buyers claim that it was dusting off and stained (obviously they saw nothing wrong with the pictures she sent), they decided to refund the buyer her money based on ODOR (on what they cannot prove)! I'm still battling it with posh regarding this because they do absolutely NOTHING to protect sellers! I literally went out of my way to clean the jacket to make sure the buyer received it nice and clean and the seller just wanted her money back so Posh decided to side with her. Which by the way has been my first claim complaint from a buyer-so right there they should see I am a good seller! After this! Screw you posh, sticking to sell on ebay!
Yet I work at Saks Off 5th - get a discount on my clothing and this is what they claim - it never fails.
Their email: Your Poshmark listing "~ BLAZER ~" has been removed due to Counterfeit item-
On January 10, I ordered a small blooming plant that was needed by a certain day. According to the Poshmark website, this order was supposed to be delivered in three days. After my request three days later, Poshmark responded that the order is delayed "due to Holidays" (?). Ten days later, Poshmark advised that the order was cancelled due to a damage of the plant, and my money will be returned to my credit card within three weeks. This is a fraud!
Trust me they do not looked at the fact everything through email and computers they could accuse you of too many things even if you show them the real picture the listing everything they don't consider any of these because they are stupid dumb people working there they do not stand for right Think trust me their decision do not based in reality or through or $#*! it trust me and you will see it
I made a purchase on poshmark for a Versace skirt size 6. In Italian sizing this would be a size 42. The item I received was not the size that I ordered yet I am being charged for this item and I was told I am not allowed to return for a refund. The skirt I received is a size 4 and it clearly states that it is an Italian size 40 directly on the tag. I have photos of this.
Since my purchase was over $500, the item was first sent to poshmark to be reviewed in person, even then they did not see that it was the wrong size and still sent it to me!
Poshmark website says that you are able to return an item for a full refund if the item description was not correct. Yet, I am being told there is no problem with the item description when in fact there is!
I emailed poshmark and told them that the size chart the seller used to label the sale online was not correct and they told me they realized their size chart is incorrect and are working to fix it. (I have possession of this correspondence and would be happy to provide it)
So why am I being held responsible for their mistake? I did not receive the item that I purchased. I purchased a size US6/IT42 and I received a size US4/IT40!
If this mistake happened with a reputable resale service like Tradesy then I would have never been sent the item in the first place because they would have noticed the size labeling issue! And I can't believe that I am still being denied my return and refund after I have brought this problem to their attention multiple times already.
Difficult place to shop. Too many sellers either out of laziness or deceit don't describe thoroughly their wares. It is obvious from comments around the web and a little browsing on the site itself that a lot of fakes are being listed. This means that you have to ask questions. In my short experience looking for a cashmere scarf, I have received mostly lame or evasive answers. Further I was quickly blocked from asking further questions presumably by some algorithm. Problem returns and customer service appear to be the main sources of complaint. This totally contrasts with Ebay for example. So I would have to say a big caveat emptor applies to the whole enterprise.
"WEAR" can you start. Yep; I received a completely worn (in the sole) pair of purportedly new Nike sneakers. Should have known better; but it does get better. The Poshmark "crew" informed me that my photo depicting this debacle was not conclusive evidence. Thus; best of luck in the future. Well; the same to you at Poshmark and the "seller/thief" by the name of "@premierfinds"...
Poor customer service. They will stand behind the seller even when proof is shown they handled the shipping carelessly. I ordered a dress for New Years Dec 14. I even contacted the seller to be sure she shipped it out right away so I would have my dress in time. Of course the seller assured me she would, she did not, it was shipped Dec 28th and arrived Jan 2. I contacted poshmark and they said since I didn't cancel it before I received it there is no way to get a refund. I went back and forth with them and the seller and got no where! When the seller got called out she claimed to have gotten covid. Funny she didn't mention being sick any time I talked to her! Do not buy from Poshmark or *******@esworkman.
First off, customer service is non existent. There's no number to call, so you have to email them or try sending a DM on FB, then wait a week and maybe you'll get a response. I've had my account suspended (not able to buy, sell or respond to messages) without notice or reason. Each time followed my posting a new item for sale (nothing fancy, designer or not allowed on the platform). By the time I got a response my account was back to normal. It typically took 3 days for my account to be back. I have yet to get anyone from Poshmark to explain why this happens or to clear it up any sooner.
Unless you have high dollar items to sell, selling can take several months and result in little profit. Additionally, there are multitudes of "flippers" on there who take poor pictures of some items and refuse returns when asked because the item fails to meet expectations, i. E. old, worn out, stained, mislabeled. Poshmark sides with the seller every time, so buy very carefully!
HORRIBLE SITE... DO NOT CARE ABOUT CONSUMER... I ORGERED WHAT WAS ADVERTISED AS A NEW MELODY IN MOTION CAROUSEL... IT ARRIVED FROM VENDER KCARSON21 ON THE 22ND OF DECEMBER IT WAS BROKEN AND TOTALLY INOPERABLE... CONTACTED K CARSON ON 25TH TO RETURN AS WELL AS PAYPAL AND POSHMARK LETTING THEM KNOW THAT MERCHANDISE WAS NOT AS ADVERTISED AND IN INOPERABLE CONDITION... THEY BASICALLY TOLD ME. TOO BAD BUT WE CAN NOT TAKE BACK A RETURN AFTER 72 HOURS... I THEN SHOWED THEM THAT I HAD BEEN WITHIN THE 72 HOURS... THEY THEN BASICALLY RESPONDED WITH TOO BAD YOU DIDN'T FOLLOW OUR PROCEDURES PROPERLY... WITHIN THE 72 HOUR TIME FRAME EVEN THOUGH I WAS IN TOUCH WITH THEM AND THEY COULD HAVE GUIDED ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION... THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME USING THIS SITE... WHICH I WILL NEVER USE AGAIN... I NOW HAVE A $60.00 PIECE OF JUNK... I HAVE SINCE SEEN OTHER REVIEWS OF THIS SIGHT THAT ARE OF A SIMILAR VEIN... WISH I HAD SEEN THEM EARLIER... THEY REALLY DESERVE NO STARS AND POSSIBLY A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT... LEGAL ROBBERY...
SELLERS BEWARE OF THIS SITE, Poshmark is a scam website, I wouldn't sell my clothes on Poshmark ever again, the buyer has 3 days to try your product before Poshmark will release your money to you if the buyer doesn't like it then their money will be released back to them and they will keep your product which happened to me but I was not having it, Poshmark, the buyer, and I were in a deep argument online until Poshmark sided with both sides. Once I got my money, I gave Poshmark a piece of my mind and told them I'm deleting my account and letting friends and family not to sell on this website.
I listed approximately 35 items on Poshmark. They came back stating that my items were "fake" or fraudulent. How DARE they! I spend thousands on name brand clothes and provided not only an image of the clothes but an accompanying photo of the tags. I am so furious and I challenge THEM to prove my items are fake! I am so enraged I will enlist the assistance of my brother, who is an attorney, to investigate Poshmark's practices. I give this company ZERO stars as their customer service is non-existent and their Q&A's don't answer even the most basic questions. I predict a quick demise of this company as the UX /UI experience is laughable. Don't waste your time on this poorly run company.
The package arrived at denver post office then departed then arrived again the next day then departed. This has been going on for over 7 days. It never leaves the denver postal system it just keeps looping. Poshmark wants me to wait another 10 days to see what will happen. Post office said that poshmark is the only one that can inquire about the loop it is in and they do nothing.
I purchased a pair of Prada sandals and when I received the order I realized it was the wrong size, the sandals were also very narrow and it did not fit me and they were poorly made, they were clearly fake. I contacted Poshmark immediately and open a case with a complaint including photos to prove my case.
They sent me en e-mail a day later stating that my complaint did not qualify for a return and that I lost the case. I have been purchasing items from them for a long time and this was my first return. I have been an excellent customer and this is the way I was treated. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN. SHAME ON YOU!
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
