I had some really nice brand name clothes including leather jackets and shoes and designer shirts and pants. My as was uo for about 3 months. Not one reply. You're constantly asked to join "parties ". A total waste if time!
I had two orders I placed and paid for with a seller. I waited and waited for days for her to ship them all the while attempting to ask her what was going on. Now today I get notifications (and my money refunded luckily) that my orders have been cancelled because the seller "changed her mind". According to their rules, this isn't even an option. I am absolutely livid and I think Poshmark is a piece of garbage.
Now I can't cancel my account because of rules that don't apply to me!
I bought a pair of spangled loafers from Macy's for $29 (marked down from almost $100) and the shoes were fantastic' I wanted a second pair but Macy's was out so I spotted the exact same brand and style on Poshmart for $10 more. I ordered them but when they arrived they had so many missing spangles it was ridiculous. They looked like they were used in a marathon. I wrote for a refund and was outright refused. They said they the add mentioned missing spankles. Who the heck would buy shoes with missing parts? If there was such a statement, it must have been hidden, because I certainly didn't see it. I opened a case at PayPal and Poshmart were made to issue a refund, but they still refused to pay for return shipping even though their warranty promises return shipping if dissatisfied. So it cost me $20 to return damaged $40 shoes. My advice is to never do business with this company again. They are the worst I ever dealt with.
I purchased approx. A doz items. A few were less "likeable" than what I was expecting? My complaint is that their are TOO MANY emails from other POSHMARK members invitations to POSHMARK online PARTIES, and I had absolutely no interest in attending ANY OF THEM. And no way to STOP receiving the daily flurry of invitations. ALSO, all items were really NOT RETURNABLE if they didn't fit or not to my liking? I contested a pr of tennis shoes that were not the size I ordered? More like a kid's size 8? POSHMARK needs to be somewhat flexible with their rules about receiving invitations for parties and an opt out option? And items need to be returnable, if the Seller wants to sell them that way? Also, NO WAY to delete all the invitations and other emails on the site. A member could get 100's of invitations a day, I guess? POSHMARK does not begin to compare to EBAY. NO real way to contact "management" either for SUGGESTIONS. I tried to sell a few itmes for a couple of weeks. Not one offer? EBAY rules the market, don't waste your time with POSHMARK, unless you like attending "virtual": merchandise parties?
I recently had someone purchase a $500 leather bag from me on Poshmart. It sold for $200, a great value, it had minor flaws that were highlighted in description with photos. After purchasing the item from me, the buyer started writing me to cancel order, when she found out l had already shipped it she procedded to tell me to find out how she could return it. When she received this beautiful bag she smeared brown and white substance all over it and took photos claiming it arrived that way. Posmarket allowed her to return my now damaged bag. Sellers are not protected by this company, so disappointed in this company. I offer quality product and work hard to clean and press all my item, l also polish my leather goods. To have stuff damaged and return with no consequence to anyone but myself is disheartening. Looking for a new spot to sell.
I've tried to purchase four items on Poshmark. Three of the four orders eventually were cancelled because the items were fake. Poshmark does not police their stores well. Most of the items on Poshmark are fakes. I'd avoid them at all costs!
Absolutely horrible... my account was just suddenly suspended. Never made a sale, never posted anything, and suddenly bam! Customer service is rude and slow, never responds or tries to help you, just seems like they have bots running it. Get nearly 20 notifications *******@pm_editor all day long with stupid parties that I don't care for, have tried blocking them, reporting as spam, turning off notifications, but nothing has worked. Made my first purchase, and seller has still not shipped. There is no way to contact seller as my account is mysteriously suspended, and I better get my money back as I borrowed my friend's paypal to pay for this. Extremely frustrated and annoyed. The $7.49 shipping fee is also ridiculous and it is clear that this company is just a cash grab for the owners. Absolutely horrible on all levels. Stick to depop or etsy instead.
My first purchase on Poshmark: my money was taken and held for over a week for an item listed as available - told it was unavailable. Second purchase: a poorly represented item that was not granted ability to return. I should have known better than to give Poshmark a second chance. Bye, Poshmark.
Poshmark wont release my money they owe $300 for shoes I sold over 8 days ago and the person received.
They don't respond to emails, messages, or anything they just ignore me and send bs auto-responses that resolve nothing and don't resolve any of their fraudulent activity and theft for stealing my shoes and not paying for them.
Need my money today $300. This is company needs to be shut dont they do the worst business i have ever seen and help shady buyers lie steal and commit fraud while not upholding their end what they take a HUGE 20% fee for u digrace of humans and a company.
I'll start with the positives, poshmark is a huge plate form for country wide users. They have a large amount of traffic so the chances of selling your stuff it likely!
However, their rates are extremely high! They take 20% pre sale plus for some unknown reason you have to pay taxes on the poshmark fee. I'm selling used items/clothes and as the seller paying poshmark taxes...? This is not a business, if it were I'd have my own "business" website to sell. I've tried looking online for a reasonable explanation for these tax fees and there isn't.
I'm new to Poshmark and won't be using it again as TWICE I've tried to purchase items and BOTH times the sellers didn't send what I bought. I did get refunds but if you're not willing to send then don't post! Think before you post an item for sale if you're really willing to part with it because changing your mind later is a terrible way tondo business. Going back to EBAY... never had any issues and items delivered on time and as described.
I have made hundreds of purchases from Poshmark. Out of those I never complained about items that I received not as described or items that say authentic that clearly are not or having to pay $7.45 to have a tiny hair clip shipped. I just count my losses and look for other sellers on Poshmark selling hopefully better quality items. How ever after being such a great customer to Poshmark I need there help with a package I did not get. I don't know if the seller actually even shipped my item. I paid nearly $300.00 for a Prada bag I didn't receive. I have been emailing Poshmark about this since the day it claims to have been delivered. Apparently I'm just out my money. No bag no refund doesn't matter that I have purchased hundreds of items from there site. I will not shop Poshmark any longer.
I wanted a refund for an item pictured in blue, but it was declined since the listing also showed the brown shirt I got in a secondary picture.
The Poshmark system is flawed. Scammers are buying items, using it, then damaging it and then rejecting the products back to the sellers. Aren't they checking the products before shipping them out to the buyers? If so, then how can the buyer turn around and say it's damaged after they supposedly checked it? Poshmark opens the doors for the scammers and let them take advantage of honest sellers.
Sellers beware. Find another outlet for your products if possible. I prefer eBay because they protect both the buyers and sellers.
I had significant fraudulent activity on my Poshmark account and Poshmark did not respond to my concern. When they finally responded weeks later they told me that because the purchases were made from my account then they were not considered fraudulent activity. However that is the exact definition of fraud: When someone else Pretends to be me and use my account to make false purchases. I'm extremely disappointed in this company for not protecting my personal information but also not taking action to make things right.
Poshmark makes the buyer accountable if the item received was not listed correctly. Their policy is to ask questions although the listing clearing states details of the item, that were not correct upon receiving it. Poshmark will not return your money! Their policy is to ask the seller if what is written for the listing is correct. LOL! Stupid!
I recently purchased a very expensive resale Louis Vuitton handbag from this site. This handbag comes with a matching pouchette when sold by Louis Vuitton. The listing didn't mention the pouchette. However I fully expected that it would be included with the handbag. When I received the handbag, the pouchette was missing so I reached out to Poshmark to let them know the matching pouchette was missing. They felt no responsibility since the listing did not mention the pouchette... Beware! Make sure you know exactly what will be included with what you are buying.
I had to give a one star, because I can't give it a zero. This company is garbage. I got ripped off a few times. I wanted you to buy items. But when they came they were not the item displayed. And twice nothing came and Poshmark said it did. They called me a liar and almost refused me a refund every time. I had to threaten to contact my lawyer on every occasion!
Poshmark is crap. Their employees are crap. This company is just like a huge pile of dog crap!
Beware and think twice before you order anything! Make sure you understand you may not get what you seen and wanted. And sometimes you get nothing and they want to tell you it's been delivered and they'll charge you anyway. I don't know how this crap business hasn't folded yet.
HORRIBLE!
Poshmark STOLE my bag! Cancelled transaction after I shipped the item. Buyer received it, confirmed delivery & I received no payment! Poshmark will do nothing! HERES PROOF with screeenshots of my correspondence with buyer.
I purchased something for 750$ and 5 days later it still hasn't even been shipped even though they claim 3 day shipping the seller has 7 days to ship the item. So now I have to wait 2 more days to apply for a refund and today I find out it will be two more weeks before my money will be transferred back to my account. Terrible business practice! They should t take the money out of ppl's accounts until the item ships if it's going to take 3 weeks to get it back in our accounts!
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
