I purchased sunglasses that were fake and broken. Sent clear pictures of the damaged item but their website is down and no way to contact customer service. They keep asking for more details and evidence. No way to get refund
I bought an $8 Sak Roots Wallett. Seller contacted me days later said she didn't have it! Don't shop here!
I am a seller on Poshmark and they are the WORST to deal with. I have certificates of authentication for my high end products and they deleted ALL 76 of my listings through their bot-operated platform citing possible counterfeit items. I filed a support ticket since there is NO PHONE NUMBER to call. They have not gotten back to me and I am losing money because of it. And they have the audacity to take 20% of my sales …. Not just my profit but the ENTIRE SALE…and this is how they treat us! Can't even give us an actual phone number to call when they take hundreds and thousands of dollars from us! This is my business they are messing with! Stay away from them. Unethical and should be shut down.
I purchased two pairs GUCCI shoes on Poshmark. In both case the sellers misrepresented the shoes, describing as very good condition. They came with a heavy yellow discoloration and extremely filthy, Poshmark is not evn trying to help or support the buyers. Trashy shoes will be donated to charity, money lost. Terrible experience. NEVER EVER Poshmark!
Buyers are allowed to purchase high end couture items they can't afford, use them for a week and return for no reason for full refund without compensation to seller for the use of their items
Approx 70% of the sellers you try to communicate with to clarify information about a product don't respond. You can spend all kinds of time trying to find the right product but get no answers. Poshmark does not care about this. They just tell you not to buy from a seller who doesn't respond... good idea but that is 60-70% of their sellers. Why aren't they interested in allowing shoppers to rate sellers? Why aren't they interested in purging sellers who create a bad reputation for their site?
If I could leave Poshmark with a negative review I would. Unprofessional. Harassing. Rude. Company communication was awful. Anyone I spoke with did not have knowledge and they were terribly rude.
Poshmark is a Total Fraud!. Please Please Please do not do any Business with These Criminals! I cancelled my order and a 14 day refund turned into a No Refund at all! They Delete my info like it Never existed...
I received something that was described as NWT(New with Tags)and when I got it there were 2spots/stains on it that I don't believe will come out... now how did that happen to a brand NEW shirt, or is it all just a scam?! Don't do business here please, they do not have a Customer Service # to call if that tell you about how poor the Customer Service is...! STAY AWAY!
This site has turned into a giant online garage sale without the bargain pricing. People mostly selling overpriced garbage. Also, there are now a large number of closets selling used socks and "well worn" shoes as well as used underwear with semi explicit photos. Oh, yeah... I forgot to mention anal plugs and vibrators. That's just not appropriate yet Poshmark does nothing about it. I'm for sure not a prude, but there are teenagers using this site. I've been a seller since its first year and it was a good idea gone bad. Between the huge number of scammers, knockoffs and misdirected fetish sellers, this place is a waste of time unless you're into slumming now and then.
I am appalled by Poshmark-
I have been selling my items on this site- first time ever I purchased a high ticket item-$1600 - they were supposed to ship signature required as per their claimed policy- this item was shipped USPS- mail. I never received and I got an unprofessional email saying they are not responsible for lost packages- no one to talk to- I have done everything they have asked me to do - they can not provide proof this was sent signature required - I am completely flabbergasted fasted by the lack of responsibility- I have dealt with tradesy, vestiaire collective but this company is a joke do not buy from them do not trust them.
I sold a brand new purse. Provided buyer pictures. ZERO DAMAGE ON PURSE. Buyer gets purse claims there was a mark on top of it. I provided picture showing no marks. The buyer accused me basically of being a liar after offering to keep purse for a reduced price. Of course I would not agree since it was substantially reduced. Poshmark approved the buyers request to return. I was shocked and needless to say disappointed. Who in the hell is reviewing this stuff.
I sold shoes that were new, my pictures reflected it. Returned destroyed and Poshmark credited them back. Now I cannot resell my shoes because they were practically new. I took pictures when they returned and Poshmark said it's hard for us to tell what went on. The credited me $15 in Posh dollars, to be used on them. I was out of over $50. I always got 5 stars with my products. Prior I bought something that didn't fit and I tried to return and they wouldn't allow me, so the way to get your money back is to damage other peoples sold items and send it back. Poshmark should absorb the cost when buyers damage a sellers item, but no... What if my item was hundred and Poshmark issue a $15 credit. I will never buy or sell on their platform. That's why no one wants to go on these sites.
Purchase Pelaton shoes from samm540 and the sizing is definitely misrepresented! They will not allow a return. Will never purchase anything from here again! Buyers beware!
Anytime you purchase online with Poshmark, eBay, and the like, it's going to be hit and miss. I get it. However after 695 transactions on eBay, I've generally missed (had problems with the purchase) about 2-3% of the time. Poshmark is another story. To date it seems like out of say 10 transactions, I have problems with 4 of them. What do I mean by "problems"? Little or no seller communication, delayed ship times, or absolutely zero progress after the transaction date and sale has to be cancelled and refunded. This has happens so frequently that each time I purchase on Poshmark lately, I'm wondering if I should really press the "SUBMIT" tab and subject myself to this company's time-wasting policies.
My typical experience:
1) Make purchase.
2) 3 to 4 days elapse with no communication or action to ship by seller.
3) I message seller on day 4.
4) No response.
5) I contact customer support who assures me that they've reminded the seller to ship.
6) Day 5 or 6, seller MIGHT ship.
7) If they don't, I wait the remainder of 7 day period after purchase date and have to cancel sale to get refund,
8) Refund takes 2-3 days.
9) The result: My money is tied up for 10 days, I have to start over again (especially if purchasing a gift).
There have been too many misses for me on Poshmark compared to others to suit my tastes. If there is any time table for your purchase, PLEASE BEWARE on Poshmark. They ain't eBay and they SURE ain't Amazon!
I purchased a dress from a "Posh Ambassador" liyynicole on Sunday after my "make an offer" was completely ignored. My credit card was charged immediately, but I still have received no contact from this seller and my item has not shipped. I have only purchased a few things from this site over the past couple of years and more than 50% of the time I have been totally disappointed. Customer service is completely non-existent. I'm just sorry that I didn't see all of the comments here before I purchased yet again. I'll be posting my experience on every site I can find, so others won't be burned the way I and so many others have been by Poshmark!
Never again will I order. Tried with 5 emails to cancel with no response. CANNOT SPEAK TO A HUMAN AT ALL... really?
Poshmark's return decisions are not buyer-friendly. I purchased a sweatshirt and received a T-shirt. My return request was denied, despite the fact that the item was not as described. I even sent them pictures showing that the material is not sweatshirt material. They seem to believe the buyer's "I didn't mean to deceive" statement over my photographs.
Policies like these leave buyers open to scammers and deceivers. Try Mercari — they're much better and many items have free shipping.
Replies once in a new moon and it's impossible to reach them. Get yourself a phone number or have a chat option!
You cant do return. What you buy it your. Coustumer service very poor, if you have problem. You lost the money. Never more
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!
Answer: Ask probing questions: non-smoker? Ever been dry cleaned? How worn is it? Cats? Etc
Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!
Answer: Have you sent an email to Poshmark support? I have before and they did respond
Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
