Terrible sellers( frankly do not know how to be in small business), no good business practices from the Sellers or Poshmark. Terrible overall site. Poshmark does nothing to oversee their sellers which makes Poshmark look like the crappy site they are.
On several occasions I have seen the sellers on Poshmark comment horribly to customers if the customer does not say what they want to hear. Poshmark appears to think that is ok... Suggesting that the customer just "BLOCK" the seller. I think that Poshmark should take more pride in their platform. The attitude the sellers portray directly reflects on Poshmark. I loved Poshmark until this began.
Sadly, myself & others I know choose to NOT do business with them for this reason. I feel like the disrespect is uncalled for. The following media post is just one of several I have seen.
I wished I would have read all the reviews before I made my purchase! I purchased the item and never heard from the seller and I've been trying to get a refund and can't get anywhere with that! Or get an answer back from anyone, I've emailed more then three times and can't get anyone to reply to

Stay away! Poshmark is not a credible and honest website. I ordered one pair of earrings and received two. My credit card initially declined my purchase due to they thought it was a fraudulent purchase. I contacted them and let them know that it was a real purchase and they said I had to re-order it. No problem, I did this. However, Poshmark just waited a little while and then placed my initial order as I placed a second order although I had no knowledge of the first order was placed.
Getting my money back has not happened. Customer service is online and faceless. They don't care because they have my money.
I would never do business with this company and going by their reviews most people feel this way.
Made 1 purchase. The person I bought from was fine. No complaints.
However Poshmark started spamming me immediately and despite several attempts to get them to take me off their spam list, I am still getting their crap emails. Poshmark is disgusting.
There are a lot of people selling junk on this site, just like everywhere only worse. Twice I got bad products - dried up makeup, shoes with soles half off, sweater with huge holes, etc. After lodging complaint, with photos, was told the transaction stood. Poshmark supports sellers and leaves buyers in the hole.
Never buy from this company... they have non exisitent customer service. I ordered a pair of sandals, they were too small and that does not qualify as a return or exchange.
Poshmark does not seem to care about purchasers. I bought a pair of men's size 9.5 keen sandals from the men's sandals section at Poshmark. What arrived were women's size 9.5. They are shorter than men's size 9.5 without question, and I sent Poshmark photos proving that a 9.5 is not always a 9.5. Now they're making me jump through hoops, and they are making me feel like I am in front of a harsh jury. I will never shop at Poshmark again. Horrible policies and service. You can't even call them to talk. They simply don't take calls.
But don't take my word for it. Check out the thousands of reviews here, on other review sites, and 1499 complaints with the Better Business Bureau (not including mine and at the time I wrote this).
Do not, please do not order anything, nothing from this company, unless you like to throw away your money. Worst customer care, no returns, don't do it.
I purchase a pair of Tiffany earrings the description says 100% authentic. I received my earrings they were FAKE. I ask for a refund Poshmark accepts my return they email me a return label. I ship the package back the next day. Well, the package came back with an unknown address. They haven't refunded me my money and am stuck with FAKE earrings. This was a scam I'll never purchase from Poshmark again BEAWARE
I did not receive what I ordered and after multiple photos and emails they refused to allow me to return the items.
I wanted to cancel, they said that it's up to the seller, I couldn't cancel my order because they restricted my account because when I saw they weren't helping me I file a dispute with PayPal, they were communicating with me with email only and one email 24 hours after. They costumer service is awful. They didn't want to cancel even if the product say you needed to cancel in within 3 hours of purchase which I did a minutes later when I realized I used the wrong method of payment.
I PURCHASE LEATHER AND SHEER JACKET FOR TOTAL 20.55 ON 11/6/2020. I NEVER RECIEVED THIS ITEM. I email seller with a copy of payment with the last 4 charge numbers. No respond. Never heard from Postmark as well. I need to delete this app. So I do not buy again.
Ordered a LV handbag and when it arrived it was clearly a counterfeit. I sent pictures and requested a refund. Nope, just not going to happen. Do NOT throw your money away.
What a joke of a shopping app! There's no customer support no help. Beware, if the sellar says brand new and it's very used you'll have trouble getting your money refunded. I don't recommend this app.
I'm seller and I can tell I never have any support from Poshmark support. Buyer open case for scratches on the lenses, I have in my description state - scratches on the lenses. Poshmark approved the case. It's very unfair, they don't pay attention to nothing. They just collecting 20% from selling price and don't care! Anytime I need help from them, it's no help@ all.
I brought a Michael kors hand bag from Poshmark and I received a fake bag, just unbelievable and I also ordered a coach hand bag that should be delivered to me this Saturday I guess that's gonna be fake also, don't order off of this site because it's a scam
BEWARE OF POSHMARK POLICY ALLOWING SELLERS TO CANCEL PAID FOR ORDER! Last night I discovered much to my dismay a seller on Poshmark can cancel a completed paid for order "I changed my mind and don't want to sell this item". I have the order number. I got told my money would be refunded- gee thanks. If buyers can't return sellers shouldn't be allowed to cancel a completed paid for order. This cancellation policy is nowhere to be found on the website.
Needless to say I won't be shopping there anymore.
I have had success selling about 10 of the 60+ items I have listed in my first year using the app. I have seen items I would purchase from others myself, but the high shipping costs ruin it, as I'm sure it deters others from buying my things as well. $13 for shipping is more than the price of a lot of items. A $13 hat now becomes almost $30 when you tack on shipping and taxes. Bring shipping back down to $6-$9 at most and you'll see more people using your app. I hope to see Poshmark become more than it is now because I think there is huge potential for it to be a great app. If Amazon charged $13 for shipping, people wouldn't shop there either.
What a WASTE of my money. I should have read reviews prior to my purchases. Purchased 3 pairs of shoes. 3 different sellers. Of the 3,2 pairs became unglued the 1st time I wore them. So embarrassing. Wore 1 pair to work in the AM, changed to 2nd pair and both sucked. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM POSHMARK. Trying to save money has cost me more. Do not buy from them. Poor quality. I haven't used the 3rd pair, I'm scared to be embarrassed again.
Answer: You've got to be smart about shopping online these days. There are scammers wherever you go. That said, if you follow the guidelines and steer clear from trading, which most sites don't condone, then you'll be fine. I've purchased over 100+ items on poshmark and have sold over 90+ with complete success, with the exception of the one time I decided to trade... I've purchased low prices items before and received junk a couple times, but Poshmark ALWAYS refunded me! Maybe I'm super savvy, so here's what I always do: 1. Always checkout the seller's reviews. 2. Always ask if there are any flaws with used items. 3. Always ask if sizing is TTS: "true to size" 4. And most importantly, always ask if it's authentic (unless otherwise specified in the description) These 4 questions have always led me to receiving exactly what I wanted and at half the retail price! Plus, it's so much fun! I've made a considerable amount of income from it, while also adding a nice set of items to my own closet! Good luck out there!
Answer: I have received every item I have ever bought on poshmark. It arrived on time and was in the exact condtion as was promised and how it appeared in the pics.
Answer: Well yes she received the boots and probably didnt like them or they didnt fit etc. she is trying to get her money back by trying to re sell them for 70.00 however she would only get 56.00
Answer: It took a long time, but today Poshmark said they refunded the entire purchase amount plus shipping because the booties I ordered were misrepresented. It took About a month and a half. Two times they offered me small credits toward another Poshmark purchase. I filed a very well documented (12 pages of emails, screen shots of the ad and screen shots of dialogue between me and the seller, Kimology) fraud claim with my credit card company, and I emailed Poshmark's customer service to advise them. Two days later they told me they were refunding my money. We'll see if that happens. Poshmark's customer service is terrible, but persistence paid off. Best of luck to you!

Answer: I have the total opposite reaction to this question. This mystery group that decides what the outcome will be is ridiculous. You can't talk to anyone, and my last attempt to get support through emails, took one month! Not a fan of learning who the good sellers are by trial and error...
Answer: She probably stalked the other seller's listing and found you commented on the item you purchased. So technically, yes they can see what you buy as long as you commented something on the purchased listing.
Answer: Be careful on posh because they do not have your back. There is a lot of scandalous people on posh. Be careful on ebay as well. I bought a Michael Kors set on ebay that was listed as excellent condition but it was stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Ebay did not refund my money. They said since it wasn't listed as brand new with tags I was screwed. I was out $315. Who wants a handbag and wallet that smells like shit? I think twice before buying on Ebay since that experience. Shame on the dishonest seller and Ebay for allowing that behavior. Good Luck!

Answer: You unfortunately cannot return an item if it doesn't fit. It's best to ask the seller the measurements of the item, if they tell you the wrong measurements you can return it. If they will not give you the measurements then don't buy from them. I'm new to selling on Poshmark and I will allow people to return their items if they don't fit because I believe that's what's right, you will find other good sellers!
